It's Tiki Time all the time in this Caribbean style Destin beach house which has incredible views of The Gulf of Mexico and is set up for your enjoyment. The best feature to our home - it is only ONE house in from the beautiful white sands of the Gulf. We also offer a large pool and pool deck that is perfect for big groups.
Families find this the perfect beach house for them as there is plenty of space to be together, but designed to allow each group their privacy. The location of 'It's Tiki Time' is ideal as it is located in the charming beach community of Crystal Beach in the heart of Destin. Close to shops, restaurants, movies and most important, the beach!!!
Our home has the perfect floor plan for several couples or for multi-family vacations. We also have a second floor balcony where you can enjoy watching the sun set over the water, or savor that first morning cup of coffee to the sounds of the rolling waves.

Area Information:
THE BEACH
Public beach access is approximately 100 feet away, and allows you access to the beautiful sugar white sand and emerald green waters of The Gulf of Mexico.
DINING
Casual and fine dining is within walking distance at Camille's Restaurant or at the Crystal Beach Inn. There are many other restaurants along Scenic Gulf Drive such as The Crab Trap, Captain Dave's, or our family favorite, Pompano Joe's where you can enjoy fresh seafood. Many of the restaurants have outdoor decks for enjoying the views and breezes of the Gulf.
RECREATION
Destin offers exciting water activities; snorkeling, parasailing, sunset cruises, glass bottom boat excursions, dolphin watching and scuba diving. The Big Kahuna Water Park is another favorite family attraction. You will also find an abundance of golf courses in and around Destin. If that weren't enough, there is a playground just around the corner from 'It's Tiki Time' where you can watch the kids play and you can walk to the end of the other block where you can rent bikes, scooters and kayaks.
SHOPPING
The Destin Commons shopping area is less than a mile away and has the 14 screen Rave Movie Theater, Hard Rock Cafe, Bass Pro Shop, and Build a Bear Workshop, as well as many other specialty shops and department stores. Closer to the house and within walking distance is Barnes and Noble and Best Buy. The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is located within 3 miles and provides more excellent shopping for those great bargains as it is the nation's largest outlet shopping center.

We shared this house with my in-laws which was perfect because we all got some shared space, but also some privacy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was perfect and the beach was so close! It was beautiful! The kids enjoyed the park, but I really liked the beef jerky store nearby. A whole store of homemade delicious jerky! My sister-in-law liked the outlet shopping the best. I would definitely recommend it - we are already planning our next visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had two families and this house worked out great. We could have our privacy and enjoy eachother. The pool was very large and we could all be together in the pool yard. The beach is right there! Couldn't ask for a better spot, especially with our little ones. Would book here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house was not in a condition that we were expecting based on the pictures posted. We walked in to a puddle of water from the leaky humidifier just minutes after the cleaning crew left from the previous guest. The bathroom tubs and showers all had mold (remember they were just cleaned??). We had to get the rental company to come back and clean the bathrooms. Several ceilings were in poor condition with water damage. Many of the smoke alarms were damaged and not in working condition. We discovered the alarms when we tried to cook in the upstairs oven and filled the place with smoke (no alarms!). The oven was disgusting. The rental company told us it was not their responsibility to clean ovens. The front bedroom locks from the outside so I hope you don’t have fear of being locked in your room because it could happen at this house. The railings on the bunk beds were not safe. We reported to the rental Company the first day to fix the lose railings and they never did anything about it. The pool was extremely dirty and the beautiful poolside furniture pictured was non-existent. All they had were two picnic tables and a few chairs that were all cracked. The lounge chairs were all covered in black mold. The whole “tiki-time” hut was a disaster. The fan was covered in black smut and the floor was covered in about an inch of grease. One of the guests went to walk in to start the pit fell and busted his ankle. We reported the incident and were told that they would send someone out to investigate and that never happened. The BBQ pit was broken and it took two days to get a new one replaced so we had to spend money out to eat when we brought food to eat in. The house was a very big disappointment and our vacation was distracted by so many issues with the house.Owner response: Thank you very much for your comments. We take these reviews very seriously. Many of the problems that this guest had were preventable and we have since switched management companies, and therefore cleaning companies. We have been very satisfied with our new company, and worked hard to correct any items with the house that needed attention. We are committed to working with our guests to ensure a pleasant vacation.

Location, Location, Location - We LOVE the beach and this home is just steps away from the beach and everything else the area has to offer. We were particularly attracted to the family neighborhood and spend as much time as we can here.
