Blondie East is a beautiful ocean front duplex and the perfect place for a wonderful vacation. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean from three levels of private decks. Just open up the back door and step outside to the sandy beach
In Blondie East, there are four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The house can easily sleep ten people. There is everything you need to enjoy your vacation. With it’s delightfully ocean inspired décor, you will have no trouble relaxing in this newly updated home. This is truly a home-away-from-home.
Enter the home from the first floor; you will find half a kitchen, a secluded bedroom suite with a full bath, and a game room featuring a pool table, foosball table, and a TV entertainment center with a pullout couch. Out the back door you will find a shady ocean-facing deck, grill, picnic table, and all of the ocean-toys that any youngster could ever want. This is the perfect place for a sunset dinner. Head up the stairs and you will find two master bedrooms. Open the sliding glass door in either of these rooms and you will find yourself on an ocean facing deck. Both of these bedrooms have their own full bathrooms. The third bedroom on the floor is perfect for kids; it has a full sized bed and a bunk bed that will sleep two. On the upper level, you will find the family room with a new wood floor. There is an entertainment center, a new, large wrap-around couch that will fit the entire family, and a dining area. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, half bath, and washer and dryer. You will also find a collection of DVD’s, puzzles, games, and novels for the evening hours not spent on the beach looking for baby sea turtles. Head out of the sliding glass doors and prepare to be awed. The most spectacular view of the ocean awaits you. Here you will find outdoor furniture and a completely unobstructed view of the ocean.
White sandy beaches, a warm summer sun, cool ocean breezes, glowing sunsets-this is what awaits you on beautiful Emerald Isle. There is something for everyone here; beaches, swimming, fishing, surfing, or simply building a sand castle. Enjoy it all from our beautiful oceanfront home. Imagine waking up in the morning to the sounds of waves lapping at the shore. Enjoy your coffee on the ocean front deck, or just outside your bedroom on the dune deck. Take a morning shelling walk and catch a glimpse of dolphins frolicking just a few hundred feet away from you. There’s no need to carry your beach gear; the beach is only a few steps from your house. Your search for a beach access is over- your own private beach access is connected directly to the deck.
Throw in a few fishing lines, you never know what you might catch! Shore fishing is quite popular-but if you prefer, there is a public pier just around the corner. If you want a fishing adventure, there are several great charter boats on the island. Catch your own dinner or head out to one of the many locally owned restaurants on the island.
Too much sun? Don’t worry, there is always something to do on Emerald Isle! The Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium can make a great afternoon adventure for the entire family. Want to do some shopping? There are several shopping centers on the island with all kinds of fun souvenirs. Also, historic Swansboro offers antiques, darling souvenir shops, and wonderful restaurants. After dinner, take a walk by the boat docks of Morehead City. Whether you want to spend your day at a water park, on a mini golf course, or riding go-karts, you will always find something to do on Emerald Isle.

What a beauty of a place! So relaxing, wonderful view of the ocean and everything we could need was here. The weather was perfect and the house was great! I loved waking up every morning to sand, waves and sunshine! Probably spent too much time taking pictures and collecting sea shells. Got a nice tan. Blondie East was the best place to stay! We had such a fantastic week! This was our first beach trip to Emerald Isle, NC and we loved it!! The accomodations were top notch- plenty of room, very comfortable, well-organized and with everything a vacationing family could possibly need -- including plenty of sunshine, sand and of course the beautiful ocean. We enjoyed collecting shells, seeing dolphins, playing miniature golf and visiting the aquarium. Our family made some wonderful, happy memories here. Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Blondie East on the beach! THe weather was awesome and this house is beautiful. Both our sons are stationed here at Camp Lejeune so it was very convenient for their families to join us for the Holiday. The ample sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of 10! The 4 grandsons played on the beach everyday. We hope to return next year for vacation too! This home is so much better than hotel life - Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Our first trip to Emerald Isle and Blondie East was a definite success - the whole family had a great time at the beach, cooking and relaxing in the house and exploring the island. We saw dolphins jumping from the beach, dug up hundredes of clams nearby, and spend many hours sunbathing and dodging the waves. The house was really comfortable and everyone had enough space.
