  We stayed at the Chair house for six days in June 12. Everything was exactly as advertised or better! We were extremely pleased with our stay! If you are a runner/outdoor enthusiast as my family is, you'll love this place. The location and price cannot be beat. You can easily walk/run/bike to all that Boulder has to offer. The house is 1/2 block from Pearl Street. The Boulder Creek trail and CU campus are just a few blocks away. We also ran down Mapleton to the Centennial trail heads. Boulder farmers market is also within easy walking distance. Boulder Running Company and Whole Foods are just a few blocks away (we walked to both). The house has a fully equipped kitchen, nice front porch area fronting 17th Street, and a comfy and well appointed bedroom and living room area. Offstreet parking is literally just a few feet from the side door. Also, great location in that Boulder is about half way between Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park. We went to both while we were there. We will definitely be back! Thanks Sandee and family for an incredible Boulder experience!

  My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect if you are in Boulder to enjoy the great restaurants and bars on Pearl Street. The offstreet parking, just a few feet from our door, was great, although we did more walking than driving. The apartment, although modest, had pretty much everything we needed. And even though close to the action, it was very quiet. We hope we will be able to stay here again.

  I can't say enough about how perfect this apartment was for us. We needed a stress-free getaway, so we stayed at the Chair House for four nights in December. The apartment has antique charm, but modern updates. The owners even put up some lovely Christmas decorations for us. It is so well located, just half a block off Pearl with all the shops, restaurants, etc. that we rarely used the rental car we brought. And for being so close to the action, the apartment was extremely quiet. The owners were welcoming and available--they answered our questions about logistics and gave us recommendations when we asked--but were otherwise invisible and gave us our privacy. What a wonderful way to experience Boulder! We highly recommend.

  The 100+ year old chair house was pretty much as we expected it to be from the posted photographs. Very charming & extremely clean. The house met our needs - giving the two of us ample space to spread out & the facilities to cook those meals we chose to cook at 'home'. The location is a half block away from Pearl street and just a couple of blocks from the Pearl Street Mall. The free parking was a great perk. The owners are wonderful, friendly, helpful & accommodating. We enjoyed our stay in this little place.

  This is a great place to stay. It is within walking distance of Pearl Street Mall (just a few steps away) and Colorado University (just under a mile). The listing was very accurate. The place was clean and comfortable. The owner was available and very helpful. I could highly recommend the Chair House. We hope to be back soon. Thanks for the stay!

  What a delight it was to find this great little place. It was booked as an apartment, but felt like our own private house. There is a front entrance on the street, great little side yard to cook-out in and a back door adjacent to the off-street parking. Best of all, Pearl Street is only a block away. If you have never visited Boulder, Pearl Street is the HUB! Always having stayed in a hotel when visiting our son in Boulder, it was a joy to have this great place - not having to walk through a lobby, or meet in the restaurant. Definitely a homey atmosphere.   We love the Chair House....a home away from home. This place is perfect inside and out. Neat and clean rooms, comfy bed, cool retro kitchen dinette. We like the idea of a private entrance, patio and parking. It really IS one- half block to Pearl Street cafes, coffee house, many interesting shopping spots and a short walk to the Pearl St. Mall. Very accommodating owners....I asked about a night light for bathroom and 10 minutes later I had a night light, directions to the Mork and Mindy House and a suggestion for a great cafe for breakfast right around the corner. We will definitely reserve this again for our fall trip to Boulder. Don't know if we can go back to staying in hotels after this great VRBO. (Don't forget to look for the chair attached to the top of house)
