My family loved staying in this condo! It was just beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a stay at the beach. We loved being so close to all the shops, restaurants and the beach. The owner was always available if I had a question and was very kind! We didn't want to leave!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from our stay at this property, Oct 20-27 2012. The condo is among if not the best locations on the beach. I literally watched people playing beach volleyball from the bed in the master bedroom . The condo is beautifully decorated, roomy, and well equipped. Very clean. You could throw a rock and hit a place to eat or shop. I would recommend visiting the historic site of "Wormsloe" in Savannah. The entrance to the grounds is beautiful, large moss covered oak trees that meet in the middle of the road and form a tunnel to drive thru. The weather at this time of year was perfect until hurricane Sandy came along on our last day of stay. Fortunately, Tybee Island was spared from the hurricane's wrath. I would recommend this condo and look forward to a return visit. The owner was most gracious and accomodating. We are from Smyrna TN. and Toledo OhioRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband, best friend and I rented this property recently. It was our first time using VRBO. The pictures don't do the Sandpiper justice! We felt so relaxed the minute we walked in the door and saw the view. The condo was well-kept and nothing showed wear and tear. The owner keeps a very well-stocked kitchen to enable guests to cook just about anything. This condo is right in the center of the action and within walking distance of just about everything. We enjoyed dining at many of the restaurants on Tybee - especially AJ's Dockside (where the dolphins play in the bay out back) and The Sundae Cafe. Make sure you go to Tybee Lighthouse - a good walk - and climb to the top to see for miles around. What I love about this area is the lack of pretense - just laid back people enjoying themselves! No chain stores or fast food (except Arby's) - great way to support the community.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Super convenient location. Condo beautifully decorated and clean. The enclosed parking was great, although very tight. Recommend Bernie's Oyster House for lunch and karaoke! Great food, atmosphere, service and right around the corner to boot! Would recommend to all! Thanks.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Let me tell you! You will not be disappointed here. This condo exceeded all of my expectations. It is VERY clean, VERY well decorated, and VERY comfy/spacious! (Not a single bug!) You couldn't ask for a better location either. It is right in front of the beach and everything is within walking distance. I didn't bother to get in my car once I was situated in the condo. If you are going to Tybee Island, this is the place to stay at! :) I will definitely be making plans to coming back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I stayed at this condo with three others and it was AMAZING. My family had used VRBO previously for family vacations but I was still apprehensive about using an internet site but I am soooo glad I found this place. It was beautiful waking up to the sunrise in the morning and listening to the ocean at night. It really was peaceful. The condo was really spacious. I just can't say enough. I wish I lived there. It was amazing and the owner was really easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place if you plan to stay on Tybee Island.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

I'd give the place 6 stars if I could...one of the nicest condos I've had the pleasure of staying in. It was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The location is in the center of it all. You could walk to shops, stores, and restaurants. The owner has a great system for checking in and out and is very nice to work with. You won't find a pool in this complex but I wouldn't have used it anyway. Who needs a pool when you have such a great beach. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Having never been to Tybee, we weren't sure what to expect. What a time we had. This condo was the perfect place to experience Tybee. The location couldn't be beat. Great for people watching. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The size of the unit was nice and roomy. It was great that it was a gated property. We were thrilled to be there. When we return, we would love to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

I only see my daughter twice a year. I was looking for an awesome beach vacation for us. The condo was right on the oceanfront, view from balcony-amazing! The condo was even better than the pictures. Property was clean. The owner was helpful with questions. We walked on the beach every morning and evening. The location was fantastic, near shopping, restaurants, pier, water, easy in and out of parking and walking beach access. A great restaurant called Fannies is near..downside it gets a little noisy on Fri. and Sat. nights. However, we just joined in and listened to the band. A.J.'s (restaurant) was fun, lots of locals. The Crab Trap very touristy but fun and low country boil was good. The fort and lighthouse were very educational. Very easy drive to Savannah. Do take one of the trolley tours! I highly recommend this condo....Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

I don't want to tell everyone what an awesome condo this is... I want first dibs on it every year I come:) Every day starts perfectly... watching the sun come up on the ocean before I ever move off my pillow. And if you time it right, every evening you get to watch the moon rise to. The master BR has a wall of low, tall windows so you can see everything from your pillow... The pier, the sand, the waves, volleyball...but not the parking lot in front of the building:) This condo looked at least as good in real life as in the pictures. I loved the master suite the most I think. It felt very private, like we had our own condo to ourselves because of how it is all arranged. We had an amazing bathroom and big closets and our own access to the balcony. And the other two couples had their rooms at the other end of the condo. One couple pushed the twin beds together to make a king size bed. So we all had friends there when we wanted them and our own space when we needed it. Last year we stayed at the northern end of the island. We're still trying to figure out which we liked best. They were both nice for different reasons. North, we had the beach totally to ourselves and you could walk out off the front porch right out onto the beach... but I couldn't lay in bed and watch the ocean. That was huge for me. By the pier, there are many more people and you have to go down the elevator and thru a parking garage, cross a street and a parking lot and down to a walkway bridge to get to the beach. So its close...but I still lean heavily toward the Sandpiper condo. You can't beat the view from the pillow:) This was also by far the best value I found after much searching... and she was great to work with the whole way thru. I can't wait to come back as soon as possible!!! ...But don't tell anyone...Shhhh... ;)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

I rented over 250 beach rental properties. I know what tenants look for when spending money for a great vacation and strive to give them their monies worth.
Why the Owner Chose Tybee Island:
Located in a quaint beach town, Tybee reminds me of my youth when beaches were not full of highrises and fast food. You won't find these here this is a quiet family location yet offers plenty of family activities; but you can find all the historic sites offered in Savannah Georgia plus shopping, restaurants and theater and more.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Close to all Savannah has to offer, Plus the feel of a low keyed oceanfront community. Great for a romantic holiday or a old fashion family vacation where families can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
