A group of 14 adults spent 4 nights at this beautiful lake house. We felt right at home! Having fully utilized the kitchen, living rooms, and every bedroom - we never went without the necessities. Family dinning around large tables and afternoons on the dock. I would recommend this place to everyone! Our staff left well rested, with many memories, and hope of returning again. This may become an annual or every other year trip. "Our best Staff Development yet" - staff team member. We are so thankful for the house. Our GSPs had trouble finding the location, but reviewing the provided maps we were able to easily find the place! So thankful for the clean and homie atmosphere!

Golf Outing

What a great home for our sales team golf outing. We had 13 men and enough room for everyone. The home is spacious and has ever thing we needed for the weekend. We will use the home again for future group meetings and could not have asked for a better lake outing. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay.

This is three years now that we have rented this house and we have an unbelievable experience every year. The house is perfect for our group. Warm weather makes it great for sitting on the deck or the dock. The house is literally minutes from the golf courses we want to play. We will most definitely be attempting to rent this place or future trips again.

Awesome Lake House

Our group has been going to the lake for many years. We love this lake house and will go back there again next year. The price is reasonable, the location is fantastic and the views from multiple decks is breathtaking! If you are looking to go to the lake for a get away this is a wonderful place to stay!

My group considered many options for our lake vacation and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our choice. The weather changes fast in Missouri and this house has options for both good and bad weather. The fire pit area next to the water provided a great spot to play washers (and cornhole/bags) and the shuffle board table came in handy when it was cold outside. The house was very clean, the owners were great to work with and our deposit was returned promptly.

I had the privilege of staying in this rental for three nights- March 20-23. I have stay in many places throughout the world and found this rental property ranking amoung the best when one is comparing the price to what you are getting and comfort. In other words, what you pay is considerably less than what you are getting in return. I encourge everyone who's considering vacationing in the Camdenton- Lake of the Ozarks area to take a look and see for yourself. With that said, I plan to visit again soon!!!

Great home, beautiful view!

We rented this home for a Family Thanksgiving, with extended family traveling in from Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma. The house is spacious with plenty of room for large gatherings and small areas to escape to. The views of the lake are amazing, the outdoor area was wonderful. There was plenty of room to cook and be with the family while cooking, great theater room to relax with a movie. We were a little worried our 23 lb turkey wouldn't fit in the oven, but it fit fine and the kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils and pots/pans. Shuffle board was a hit with the young adults. Plenty of beds to allow everyone to be comfortable and have some privacy. The home was decorated for Christmas and very warm and inviting. We all discussed coming back for a week during the summer, as the boat dock is great and would make for a wonderful summer vacation spot for families. I would recommend this property to anyone, the owner's were wonderful and checked on us to make sure everything was ok.

Wonderful...wonderful....wonderful Everything was good as could be expected. The only disappointment is we could not watch the K-State game.....we know the neighbor had the game so we know it was avaialble....it appears that the cable or satellite connections were very limited. Could not find the KU basketball game either. Either we were not smart enough to figure the system out or there were problems. Other than that it was near perfect....Kirk

Fantastic property!! Wonderful vacation!!

We recently stayed at Lakehouse #1, and had a fantastic time. There were 12 of us (7 adults & 5 children) together for a family reunion. This was the first time some of the cousins had met. The house was HUGE, with more than enough room for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and its amenities - the swim area & water trampoline, all of the games available (pool, shuffle board, video games), the different decks on the house. We participated in many of the activities in the area - golf, boating, jetskiing, ziplining, horseback riding, caves, as well as just relaxing at the house & swimming in the lake. We would highly recommend this property to friends & other relatives. If we have the opportunity to go back to Lake of the Ozarks, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Terrie & Terry (property owners) for a wonderful experience!

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

The property is much better in person than the photos. This home is very well maintained, excellent landscaping and privacy from the neighbors along with ample parking. It was a perfect fit for the younger adults' their children and the older adults. Game room was well equipped, big screen HDTV, video games galore and wifi. All bedrooms were ample sized and very comfortable. A master bedroom was in an excellent location to have privacy from the rest of the family. A huge dock allowed ample room for fishing, sunbathing and swimming. Dock had room for boats or waverunners. The water trampoline was a BIG hit for the young and old. Porch decks were spacious and on two levels; enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you need to either cook or warmup leftovers. Since we did laundry a couple times the newer energy efficient washer/dryer was a nice ammenity. This property exceeded our expectations and I would RECOMMEND it for a great vacation or short term get away. The owners are very congenial and professional when making reservations and responded to our questions in a timely manner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse#1. The description of the property and the the amenities were very accurate. We had our three daughters ,sons-in-law and 9 grandchildren with us.Everyone found a bed to their liking. Grandpa and grandma loved having our own suite upstairs!When the children, ages 7 - 16 were worn out from tubing and jet-skiing, they enjoyed the lower level with the table shuffleboard, pool table, media room . We enjoyed catching fish and playing on the trampoline. Eating was very comfortable with the two large tables. We had the children in the kitchen and tha adults sat in ;the dining room.The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the leather remote controlled chairs in the media room. Wish they were ours!We especially liked the fact that this home is on the quieter end of the lake. We found quiet coves where the children could tube without our concern for their safety! Since our children live in three different states, it was a wonderful week to be altogether!

We had a wonderful family reunion at the Lakehouse. There were twelve adults plus fifteen children so sleeping arrangements were a bit of a challenge but we worked it out. The water trampoline was the big hit as kids and adults spent hours on it. We had excellent weather, not real hot nor humid so made the stay enjoyable. Someone must have fed the fish before we arrived because we did not have any luck catching any. The deck and gas grill came in handy. All in all, a great place, neat and clean. Would recommend it highly.

Luxury Living at the Lake

Our family and friends spent four nights at this home. What a great vacation! Ten kids and eight adults and we couldn't have had a better time. The house is so big it takes a good day to figure it out. You can imagine how much fun the kids had -- games of "sardines" never got old! Add to that the game room, pool table, shuffleboard table, board games, xbox and last but in no way least, the fabulous water trampoline and swimming off the dock ... we adults never once heard the dreaded, "Mom, I'm bored." (The adults spent plenty of time enjoying the above mentioned activities as well.) The best part of the trampoline is the pod which provides hours of laughs for everyone just watching the kids go flying, all arms and legs! While we were there the fishing was great and one day we rented a jet ski from Lakerunners (they bring it to you and pick it up, very convenient as a public boat launch is just a few yards away). The house is immaculate and stocked with plenty of essentials such as spices, cleaning supplies and detergents and toilet paper. Maybe best of all is the sense of family love which is exhibited through the countless family photographs everywhere. The owners clearly have a large and beautiful family. How wonderful that they share their beautiful home with vacationers such as us. Thanks Terry and Terrie. You're the best!

We had an amazing time! This home is beautiful and the lake was great also! We had 9 adults and 10 children and there was more than enough space for all of us, the kids played in the down stairs and had so much fun on the water trampoline! This was one of the most enjoyable vacations we've ever been on! The kids didn't even fight which is amazing for my children! We hope to come back again!

Mother's Day Weekend

We had such a great time at this house. Everything was so convenient!! My mother, that's 78 years old, who loves to fish was able to walk down the deck to fish. We enjoyed the decks, toys and extra that was there. We had game night and roasted marshmallows. I would recommend this house to everyone. I will be back very soon.

A Truly Great Time

My sisters, my mom, and I planned a 60th birthday party get-together at this lakehouse. We were concerned about space and comfort for all of us and our kids. The house had more than ample space and flexibility for our large group. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. We cooked in for most of our meals, and the kitchen extremely well stocked with cookware and place settings. The kids had an absolute blast playing billiards, video games, and air hockey--after spending long days out on our kayaks and fishing from the huge dock. Our family hopes to plan numerous return visits to this lovely, spacious home. I highly recommend it for a family reunion event.

We had a wonderful experience at this home. The Christmas decorations made it feel like we were living in a Macy's store. Unbelievable. There is ample room for a large group in terms of sleeping, eating and just relaxing. The theater area is very comfortable with all of the recliners. It was great playing shuffleboard with our 75 year old mother. We were not in want for anything. I woud recommend this to anyone and we will plan on returning in the future. Thanks Terri and Terry.

No greater compliment can we give this property than the fact we returned in 2011 after staying here in 2010. The place is very clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable time at the lake in any weather. We enjoyed the relaxing on the dock and fishing. We caught a lot of catfish mid week and had luck on bass casting towards shore. The media and game room were terriffic for family time and we really enjoyed watching college football on Saturday together. The kitchen was well stocked which was terrific for us as we don't eat out in restaurants at all the entire week. The owners do an exceptional job of maintaining the property and making you feel welcome. Very easy access to run into Camdenton if needed to pick up anything. Would recommend this property.

Women's Retreat

This fall I hosted our annual Young Women's Christian retreat and it was important to me to not have any distractions. I sought a location that would be comfortable for the young women. In which they would feel at home, or even see the place as an escape from home. I spent many weeks comparing prices and researching many locations but I am glad that I did. This place was an absolute gem, and the part that made the place sparkle the most was the friendliness of the owners. We couldn't find the firewood and it was 12 am central time, which meant it was likely 11pm pt; that is they time zone the owners were in. Nevertheless, they stayed on the phone with me in an attempt to find the wood. We also called for directions, it was very late at night, the owners were of great assistance. There were many pros to the Lake house: the amount of space and rooms, the fire place and fire pit, the cleanliness and the great customer service ethics that the owners maintained. However there were also a few cons, but not enough to leave a negative impression. The cons were that the place is kind of hard to find (but the owners assisted in our journey as we attempted to locate of the venue), the pizza guy didn't even deliver to the location. It was also kind of pricey for our budget, (especially in this economy) the cleaning fees added to the price, however we cleaned up after our self so it seemed unnecessary. (the owners worked with us in relation to the cost.) There were also cameras on the outside of the house. That was a good thing, it made us feel more secure, at the same time we also wondered if there were any inside, because the owners did not mention any camera. The most outstanding thing about the owners however, is that one of the young women left their shirt at the lake house, the owners offered to mail the shirt. That was very kind and thoughtful of them. Yet, all in all I would recommend the lake house to any seeker, it is a def house to stay at for any occassion! Thanks T&T

Guy's golf trip done right!

We have been coming to the lake in late Sept for 4 days of golf for over 50 years and have stayed at a variety of house, condos, hotels, house boats, etc. But this home has been the best in 20 years. The location is convenient to excellent golf and restaurants. The house is really a home, comfortable, well furnished and beautifully decorated. The entertainment center came in handy watching the playoffs and college football each evening. Terry and Terri could not be more accommodating and friendly. We will be back and might bring our wives next time, because there is plenty of room.

What a fabulous place to spend a holiday weekend with family!

Our family is quite large in size and personality! The Family Fun Lakefront Vacation Home fit us in both ways! There was plenty to do (i.e. Game room, pool table, lake trampoline, big screen TV) and a good amount of space to move around! The owner of the home left precise instructions and some very useful information! We could not have found a better place to spend time together as a family and were very grateful for the home! A couple of things that could have been a little better include: the microwave and oven. The oven got very, very hot during use and was a bit small for such big meals in which needed cooking. The microwave worked part of the time, squeaking quite a bit. Very minor improvements, but worth mentioning.

50th anniversary family get together!

What a beautiful home! We had 4 generations of family with so much to do, we sure wish we had stayed more than 3 days! Plenty of private space for sleeping and lots of large family gathering rooms and decks! The fishing was great! We never left the house except to run to the store! My father has some physical limitations, but was able to manage in the house and on the steps and dock! We are all ready to go back (13 of us)! Owners were wonderful and everything we needed was available at the home! Peaceful, quiet and relaxing...didn't want to leave!

The BEST house at the Lake of the Ozarks- it truly has it all!

This is the second year that we have stayed at this beautiful house and we love it so much we have reserved it for our family vacation for 2012 and 2013!! This house has everything we were looking for- big enough to fit a lot of people for our annual family reunion/vacation (it can sleep 20!), immaculate, you just need to show up- it is stocked with tons of towels (bath and beach) & linens, has a new washer and dryer (& they even have the soap and dryer sheets) a great kitchen with everything (stove,oven, dishwasher,micro,toaster,blender,& all of the kitchen utensils you need plus a ton of dishes and eating utensils,pans,baking dishes,containers,serving dishes--everything), a big table to eat at in the kitchen and a huge dining room table, a theater room with a huge big screen TV and the most comfortable electric reclining chairs and plenty of room on the floor for kids to pile in, Direct TV with all of the channels including all of the movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz etc.) and the HD channels, DVD player and at least 4 other TVs & DVD players in the house too, a wetbar and second full size refrigerator (so you can keep all your drinks in this one) and both refrigerators have great icemakers and water, a big outdoor grill, great decks, plenty of outdoor furniture (chairs, table, swinging seat etc.), a stereo which is also has speakers on the dock, a huge dock with 2 spaces for boats with lifts and a place to park a waverunner on the side, there is also a huge water trampoline connected to the deck and they have storage closet on the deck filled with tons of water toys (floats etc.), GREAT Air conditioning!, a fire pit (for smores etc), a game room with a new PSP unit and a ton of games, a pool table, a closet filled with board games- this house truly has it all!! It is also a beautiful house, with a big beautifully landscaped yard, on a wonderful quiet part of the lake- so it is great for tubing, water skiing, waverunning, and swimming- right off the dock. The owners are wonderful to work with & really have thought of everything and want to make sure that their guests are happy with everything! We have looked at other places and haven't found one that even comes close to this house- it is absolutely perfect!! If you are lucky enough to rent this house, you and your friends and family will truly be stunned at all of the amenities, location, beauty, and great feeling that this house has and dreaming of the next time you can come back!

Ozark Family Week

Again, this year our family gathered from St Louis, Omaha and Nevada. We all had a marvelous time. We enjoyed sharing the swimming, fishing, jet skis, cooking, grilling, shuffle board, pool and table games and, of course each other. This is a great place for our geographically disbursed family to reunite and share good time with each other. As a tribute to the memory of Grandpa Vito, we even made Italian sausage for everyone to take home.

Perfect Lake House

I honestly don't think that this Lake House can be topped at the Lake of the Ozarks. It is a beautiful house with every amenity that you would possibly want. It is very easy to get to with paved roads all the way--very private but yet fairly close to main roads. This spacious house has an enormous view of the Lake with an extra wide patio deck and lower deck all around the back sides of the house. It also has nice wide paved stairs to the dock and a FANTASTIC LARGE dock with both shaded areas and also sunny areas. There is a porch swing on the dock that is extremely relaxing and also a good size patio table and chairs on the dock also. The house is very clean, well kept and very comfortable. The owners are EXTREMELY nice and very accomodating. I called and e-mailed them several times asking them questions before our stay and they could not have been nicer. They are wonderful people. We had some questions about the tv and DVD and their daughter came right over to the house to help us--she is also wonderful to deal with. The theatre seats in the lower level are better than any recliner. We had a large family gathering but never felt cramped or crowded. There were also games for the children. This house truly has EVERYTHING you would want at the Lake and having such nice owners to deal with is a real plus also. You can't go wrong with this house for a nice relaxing vacation. Our family spent a week at this wonderful home. There were 8 adults and 11 children who ranged in age from 8 to 15. The home and its ammenities offered something for each person. Many times I heard someone say, "This is such a great house for us." We rented a boat--that added another wonderful dimension to our experience--and spent most of each day playing in the water, bobbing together in happy circles, laughing as we played with the noodles and trampoline. In the evening, we shared dinner prepared in the great kitchen by one family. Then we enjoyed family times of games and catching up with each other.The big living room was the perfect venue for our gatherings. I wholeheartedly recommend this awesome home for a famly vacation.

The Lake House

The Lake House was amazing! We held a large family gathering there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything you need to enjoy your vacation. We had a group that varied in age from 87 to 8, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The older members of our party enjoyed the decks with amazing lake views, shade, and cool breezes. While the younger crowd enjoyed the fact that our boats were just steps away and the trampoline in the lake was a big hit. The gorgeous antique shuffle board table, pool table and GIANT TV were also a big hit for all ages! There was an extremely minor mechanical issue when we first arrived, and the owners resolved it immediately, and made follow-up calls to ensure our satisfaction. We plan to return next year and would highly recommend The Lake House for your family!

Visiting Family in the Ozarks

Everyone in our group had a wonderful time. Our stay was June, 2011 for 5 days and we all decided a longer stay was in order. The house offers more than the website describes...can't think of anything it was lacking. The owners was there when we arrived and stopped by when we departed, nice touch. The kids in our group (2-10yrs) had a great time in the lake - tubing, boating, swimming, jumping on the water trampoline, simply put, they went nonstop! The elders in our group also had a wonderful time visiting, enjoying the views...we even got them tubing! It was fantastic all the way around.

Ozark Vacation

This is the fifth consecutive year our family has gone to the Lake of the Ozarks for a week in the fall and the fourth different property we have rented. It is clearly the nicest one we have enjoyed and in fact the pictures to some degree understate how nice it is. Lots of attention to detail with amenities to make your visit enjoyable as well as memorable. We particularly enjoyed the dock, burn pit as well as the games and media room. The owners took the time and effort to call us upon our arrival to make sure all was well which was a first for us and a nice touch. The property is very clean and in excellent shape. The cove does not appear to be very deep so we wondered about the fishing but even as late in the year as we went we had decent success. We went one afternoon to the ruins at nearby Ha Ha Tonka park and that was enjoyable. We would recommend the property to others.

Prefect Lakeside Get-a-way for a big group

I hosted a surprise 40th birthday party and friendship reunion for my husband, his high school buddies, and all of our families at this gorgeous lakeside home. We had 8 adults and 8 children (all under the age of 9). The house easily accommodated us (we had two whole bedrooms that were never slept in). The property is beautiful and well maintained and the house exceeded our expectations. We had a great time watching movies, playing shuffle board and air hockey, having a camp fire on the deck by the lake, eating big family meals, and hiking in Ha Ha Tonka state park nearby. We would certainly come back again. The owners were very easy to work with, professional, and incredibly gracious. The house is wonderful!

Great Vacation Home! Great Weekend

This was a wonderful home in which to celebrate my mother in law's 70th birthday! We had 13 people from 4-70 and all loved the home. There was room to spread out and a nice large table for us to gather around for meals (the owners actually provide two large tables but we chose to be at one). The shuffleboard game in the basement provided hours of fun. We were also pleased at the number of beds available. The owners were great to work with and made sure our stay was wonderful. We all enjoyed watching the Iowa - Penn State football game on the 60" TV - Go Hawkeyes! Even though it was a little cool for the water we never lacked for fun things to do and even got in the water once to try out the water trampoline. Thanks for sharing your great place!

Great Lake House

The Kearney High School Volleyball team rented this lake house for a weekend tournament. The girls loved all of the activities available: swimming from the dock, air hockey, and the large television. We were able to have a cookout with players and parents after the tournament and a great time was had by all. The house is clean and with over 5000 square feet had so many rooms it was fun just exploring the home when we arrived. The decks and dock provided a great environment for our outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this home to any large group. The owners were great to work with in arranging our weekend. Thanks to them for giving us the opportunity to share in their home.

Home as described; would rent again

We rented the home for a sibling reunion. 9 older adults. We needed two bedrooms on main level without any steps, and it provided that. Location is good, handy to get groceries and other necessities. The home has lots of shade, so it was pleasant sitting on the decks anytime of the day. Good boatdock and sundeck. Water tramp for kids or laying out. Very nice views, was quiet and relaxing. Home is very spacious, so everyone can have their own space. Large dining tables so everyone can eat together. We mostly just hung out at the house, cooking, doing some boating during the day, and visiting on the decks. The home is really set up well for children (which we did not have) but it worked out well for us too. The basement is really set up for kids, with bunk beds and smaller beds. Two basement bedrooms have no windows and are dark, so I choose the LL converted office with lots of windows. However the bed is small, and I had to sleep on a bunk bed, while my spouse took the small full size bed. That room could use an updated larger bed so adults can enjoy that room with a view. The office bedroom and the playroom could use shades that provide more privacy for adults. However all the good outweighs the lower level bedroom situation, and overall we all enjoyed the property, and all agreed we would come back. Owners were quick to resolve any issues we had.

Owner response: Clarification of lower level bedrooms, Bedroom 4 has a king size bed, Bedroom 5 has queen size bed and a set bunk beds that are twins, Bedroom 6 has a full bed, one set of bunk beds with a pull-out trundle that are twins. The kids game room is not counted as a bedroom but does have a set of bunk beds with a pull out trundle that are twins. We will see about changing the full bed in Bedroom 6 to a queen size. GREAT Suggestion. We have changed that bed to a queen.

Camdenton, Mo Lakehouse

The listing description was very accurate, the property was very clean and very well maintained, it is in a very beautiful part of the lake. The owners Terry and Terri were very helpful to us until the time we left. We had a group down for a 60th anniversary ranching from 81 to 5weeks old. Everyone had such a nice time. We spent most of the time on the swim dock, we rented a boat from the local marina on Sat. It's nice to have the view from the water, we had a good day. The guys golfed on Sunday and someone was always fishing. We were able to all seat at the dinner table which made it very nice. We would highly recommend this property and hopefully we will get to return, they had a fire pit deck we didn't even get to use. Our last night we just sat on the dock under a full moon and just enjoyed the sounds of quiet of the lake.

Reunion at Lake of the Ozarks

It's our first time going to Lake of the Ozarks -- chosen because it is equidistant between Chicago and Dallas. We chose this home because it is large enough to accommodate everyone and looked beautiful from the pictures. It didn't disappoint. The views from the home are gorgeous. We were welcomed with a bag of goodies, popcorn, pretzels, and little toys for the kids. They had a high chair for the 18 month old. The kids (10 & under) enjoyed the water trampoline. The young adults (late teens & early 20's) enjoyed fishing from the dock. We rented a 22' ski boat from Montego Bay Marina for a few days which was a hit with everyone. The home is perfect for entertaining people of all ages. We did lose power for a few hours one evening (7-10 pm). The owner was gracious enough to offer to pay for hotel rooms for the night. It turns out -- a bird flew into the electric wires outside. Luckily, the electric company fixed it in time so we didn't have to move. I do want to mention that the kitchen and bathrooms were dated but clean and functional. The dishwasher and refrigerators (2) were newer. The towels are of varying quality. Some are nice and fluffy, while some are past their prime. But these are all minor. It didn't detract us from enjoying the home and our vacation. We would recommend this place. We are already talking about possibly making this an annual tradition. Thank you Terrie and Terry for sharing your home with us.

Owner response: Thank You, for the review. We have replaced the towels that were past there prime. We believe in taking care of our guests, so when they called us about the electricity being out, we called the electric company right away. In fact, they said we were the first ones to call in. We had also made calls in between our initial call and the electric company fixing the problem, so we could keep our guests informed of what was going on. We also informed our guests of where the flashlights and candles were. We did offer to take care of a hotel room, due to it being hot outside. Our guests worked with us very well and never complained.We thank our guests for being understanding and their review.

"The lake house was absolutely as described in vrbo.com and the owners are wonderful people. We rented the house for our (third)annual family gathering and it was perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed the water trampoline, swimming, fishing, boating and gathering in the evenings for dinner. The location on the Niangua arm is great -- much calmer water than other parts of the lake. On the last evening of our stay we discovered the Ha Ha Tonka cove - wish we had found it sooner! It is a great place to drop anchor and swim! The house was amazing. There were more than enough beds for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Having laundry facilities was very much appreciated. The game rooms, shuffleboard, pool table and media room were a big hit with all ages! Even though it was very hot this week, we enjoyed both decks, including squirrels, chipmunks, birds and katydids. The house was very clean, welcoming and comfortable for all ages. Grandpa and grandma did enjoy the master suite retreat on the third floor! The owners are very attentive to the property and to their guests. We hope to rent again in the future! What an outstanding vacation we had. The house, the dock with the swim deck,n the wave runner floaters, the water trampoline, the game room(s), the media room, the fire pit, the views from the deck, (I could go on and on). All of this on the "quiet" end of the lake. There were 12 of us (8 adults & 4 kids) and we had tons of room - we were never on top of each other. All of us could even sit at the breakfast table at the same time. Everything in the house function perfectly. We've had experiences before where the A/C went out or the plumbing backed up or some other disaster occurred, but this home is truly well maintained.

Family Reunion

Our experience at the lake house was exceptional. My family gathered from Mt. Kisco, NY, Sacramento, CA., Jacksonville, Fl, Tampa, FL, and two families from the San Diego, CA area. I had seen pictures of this prior to arriving, but was astonded as to the cleanliness, spaciousness, and all around beauty of the home. The eating areas were perfect --kids in one room, adults in the other. My mom, sister and I had the upstairs 'master suite', which was perfect to get-away from the commotion downstairs with the teenagers and their parents, etc. The kids were in the water constantly and for one day we rented jet skis. Another day, they went hiking in the caves. Shopping was great - not too far away. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great getaway for their family reunion. It was perfect for our needs and since I was the one who booked it, I was the 'hero'. My mom/kids/grandkids/nephews/niece/sister LOVED it! A wonderful time was had by all.

The house with lots of fun possibilities!

Our large family had the best time at this Lake-house. The owners are very professional and warm in their correspondence and attentive to details. Directions to the house, and how to function in the home were at our fingertips. Anyone not knowing the area will be served well with all the information available upon arrival. Then there is the HOUSE! OH MY! Large- clean- conducive to a family with all ages of children. The TV room was the best with all the leather recliners. We really enjoyed snuggling watching a movie. The dock was the best with the water trampoline! We even ate most of our meals at the dock because it was so nice out and enjoyed the quiet cove and watching the families of ducks swim by. We will try to come back when our schedules allow. The owners have a warm professionalism unsurpassed. Thanks Terri and Terry!

Wonderful Weekend!

We can't say enough about this home and what if offers. We had 4 couples and we were there for a quick weekend getaway. The home was immaculate! We enjoyed the huge patios, the dock and the trampoline! Who knew that 8 adults could have so much fun on a trampoline. We brought our own jet skis and the lifts on the dock worked perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a more fun weekend. We will be renting this home again. The owners were just wonderful. I spoke with Terri a couple of times, and she is just as sweet as can be. It's obvious that they love their home and sharing it with others.

Grand lakefront home for kids, teens, and adults

This spacious property was a great choice because of the on-site and nearby amenities. The huge dock, pool table, shuffle board table, inflated canoe, inflated water trampoline, a comfortable media room, and PlayStation 2 ensured that our teens were entertained while on the property. Less than 5 minutes away are both an amazing park (Ha Ha Tonka) for scenic hiking and a great golf course (Old Kinderhook). Also enjoyed and within a half hours drive were Downhill Ruckus and go-carts for the teens and shopping for the girls. Grand lakefront home for kids, teens and adults

This spacious property was a great choice because of the on-site and nearby amenities. The huge dock, pool table, shuffle board table, inflated canoe, inflated water trampoline, a comfortable media room, and PlayStation 2 ensured that our teens were entertained while on the property. Less than 5 minutes away are both an amazing park (Ha Ha Tonka) for scenic hiking and a great golf course (Old Kinderhook). Also enjoyed and within a half hours drive were Downhill Ruckus and go-carts for the teens and shopping for the girls. Our family stayed at this beautiful lake home June 12-19 and had a wonderful stay. The house was very well kept and clean. The descriptions on the web site may not do full justice to this lovely home. We had 10 adults and 5 children and had plenty of room. We enjoyed having a large kitchen to prepare family meals and used the grill every day. Having laundary facilities was also a great bonus. The downstairs rec area was wonderful. We all enjoyed the pool table, shuffle board and air hockey. Relaxing in the home theater area was great after long sunny days on the lake. The covered dock area was great, the kids had blast on the water trampoline and slide. We recommend Cave View Marina for your boat needs on the lake. Their staff was great and the kids loved the ice cream. The only item that we would request be added would be another large outdoor trash container as we filled up the one provided quickly and trash is only picked up 1x week. A very minor issue. Overall we can't say enough about this great house and we would love to go back again next summer.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
