I didn't actually stay in this exact apartment, as the same owner had a more suitable option for me in a studio apartment, but as far as the location, pricing and everything goes, I loved City Life Management! Rodrigo was super nice (even though I didn't really even need him for anything during the week I stayed at their place as everything worked perfect), the apartment was clean and fully equipped and the neighborhood surprisingly peaceful, considering that it's just a couple of blocks from a bit more restless areas :) I would definitely recommend anybody travelling to NYC on a budget to contact these people for availability.

I can't tell you enough great things about this apartment and Rodrigo! We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and it was so fantastic! When we arrived it was larger than the pictures showed it to be and it was so clean. We didn't have to worry about towels or linens...all it took was shooting Rodrigo a quick text and he was on it! The neighborhood is safe. The building was quite. We were just a couple of blocks from the L train...and the walk was so nice. The coffee shop on the corner before the train is so cute and the staff was so friendly. And for the late night walks home the gyro truck was so delicious. I will no doubt stay here again. Thank you so much Rodrigo!

This was a great place to stay!I chose to stay in a vacation rental because i wanted my kids to experience living in a neighborhood in New York. It was cute, clean and neat. right around the corner from the grocery store. just across the street from a beautiful catholic church that had english, spanish and polish mass. This is a working class neighborhood and the neighbors were friendly. The subway is a short walk away and this place really was a great place to relax after a day in the city. Rodrigo was very nice and accomidating. If I had to improve on anything it would be the cable. Better cable would've been nice, I really wanted to watch CNN when we got home or watch a movie on cable sometimes. Parking- make sure you read the signs carefuly before you park, "No Standing" means dont park there (we got towed) Other than that I would definately reccomend this place to anyone traveling to New York. Staying at Rodrigo's place has been a very pleasant experience. The apartment is exactly as stated in the announce, it take abt 30 min to get to Manhattan but Bedford (brooklyn) is even closer, and is a very attractive scene for young people to spend an exciting night. Metro L line is just few mins walk, but you'll find any kind of service nearby. The place is clean and large (at least for NYC standards) but more important Rodrigo hosts in a very familiar atmosphere and is ready to help if needed. I'd definitely recommend this place for young people on the budget.

German: Nach aufregenden Tagen und Abenden in Manhattan sind wir stets gern in unsere gemütliche Wohnung in Ridgewood zurück gekehrt. Die Wohnung befindet sich in sehr, sehr ruhiger Wohngegend mit großem Supermarkt, kleineren Geschäften und (wichtig!!!) der Subway in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir waren beeindruckt von der Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Wohnung und haben uns dort auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine echte – sogar viel bessere – Alternative zu einem Hotelaufenthalt. Wir werden gewiss in den nächsten Jahren New York erneut besuchen und wieder diese Wohnung buchen. Keine Experimente … da weiß man, was man hat! Vielen Dank an unseren netten Vermieter Rodrigo! English: After exciting days and evenings in Manhattan it was a pleasure to return to the comfortable apartment in Ridgewood. The domicile stands in a very quiet neighborhood with a big supermarket and (important!) the subway within spitting distance. We had been impressed by the contents, furniture and the cleanliness of the domicile. We enjoyed it immediately. A much better alternative to a hotel. If we’ll come again to NY next year or later we’ll chose this apartment again. Sure! Many thanks go to our kindly landlord Rodrigo!

The best thing about this place was the customer service Rodrigo and his family provided. Rodrigo provided transportation to and from the airport for a reasonable price which was very convenient. I liked the market located right around the corner and the short walk to the subway station. All the attractions we wanted to see were in Manhattan. It was about 25-40 min subway ride to our friend's house in Manhattan depending on the crowd. This apartment was a good place to sleep and a place to go after all the hustle and bustle. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. My only complaint is the loud and leaky heater and a broken drawer but it was addressed to Rodrigo. I would recommend this place to someone looking to stay in a quiet neighborhood.

He estado muchas veces en NYC pero era la primera vez que alquilaba un apartamento através de la red lo cual, ya que hay tantos timos y oyes tantas historias de gente a quien se les engaña, estaba algo nerviosa al respecto pero este apartamento en Brooklyn es exactamente igual a como lo describen y tal y como aparece en las fotos, Rodrigo y su mujer son unas personas honestas, amables y de una profesionalidad excelente que se esmeran para que tu estancia sea lo más agradable posible El apartamento está en buenas condiciones, con una limpieza esmerada, unas camas muy cómodas y en una zona tranquila, agradable, y a tan sólo 15 minutos de Manhattan en metro, altamente recomendable y con un buen equilibrio calidad precio, volveremos!!!

Everthing was exactly as in the description, good location (15 min from Union square), clean, not expensive, grocery shop is 50 m form app... Family Gonzales live there (next building) and they were very helpful. We recommend this property. We had a great time in New York City. Best regards from Serbia

We stayed 3 nights in early June with 2 adults, 1 child and LOVED the apartment! Everything is just as it is described & pictured. Clean, quiet, safe, & convenient. Rodrigo was very accommodating. It's a short walk to the subway & a short subway ride into the city. There is a great little supermarket right on the corner. Parking was fairly easy but you do have to check the street sweeping signs. And if you walk home at night from the subway, there is a gorgeous view of the NYC skyline! I highly recommend this property. We'll be back! Thanks Rodrigo!

My friend and I stayed in this property for about two weeks in May of 2010. It's a great apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and the building is very well maintained. There is a grocery store right next to the building and a laundromat about 2 blocks away. It comes fully furnished and there is a small air conditioning unit that keeps the apartment cool. You will need to keep the bedroom doors open to keep each bedroom cool though, but there was a fan provided in one of the bedrooms. Rodrigo, the property manager, was very kind and professional and was even willing to let us swap TVs a few times so we could hook up our Xbox 360. Wireless network was available and the speed was great. Don't expect too much from the second bedroom, as it is quite small. It's strictly a room to sleep in, but if you're in New York on vacation, you shouldn't be locked up in your room all day anyway. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, and there's even a futon in the living room. There were plenty of dishes and silverware provided along with a coffee maker. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest Subway station, the Dekalb exit off of the L Train. You're at Union Square in 5 stops. We stayed in New York for about a month and a half in two different places, and the L Train was really the most convenient line to live off of. I highly recommend this vacation apartment as a cheap alternative to staying in a hotel in Manhattan. You won't find too many attractions around the area, but that's what Manhattan is for.

Five minutes to reach the subway, 20 minutes to arrive Manhattan, that´s okay. The apartment is well-conceived to stay here for ten days as we did. The price is reasonable. We - four persons - would be come back.

I spent a month here and grew to really appreciate the place. Initially I was apprehensive about the location but grew to love the area. It's so un-manhattan: very family oriented and devoid of police sirens! There are a number of Latino restaurants and take out places nearby that offer good comfort food at amazing prices. The apartment's rail car like layout may not please all but we had no real problem with it. Rodrigo was very responsive to all my requests for kitchen appliances, pots and pans etc. The only problem I encountered once in a while is the fire alarm would go off while I was cooking. I expect I'll stay here again.

Everthing was exactly as in the description. Rodrigo and his people were very helpful and always very responsive even in advance with mail or telephone. We had a great time in New York City with two adults and two children riding nearly every day with subway to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Coney Island, Long Island for sightseeing. This property is very recommendable for families and for a visit without car.

This apartment is very close to the subway and is in a nice residential neighborhood. The grocery store is right around the corner, and there are lots of places to pick up dinner within walking distance. The apartment is immaculate and quiet. There is ample sitting room in the living area, everything works in the kitchen, and the sofa in the living room converts to a nice sized bed. All linens were clean and there are two window air conditioners that keep the place perfect. Rodrigo is extremely prompt with any request and is very helpful. Parking was not a problem. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice clean place. We are a family of 5 and I felt safe here with my 3 young children. It really is a nice rental.

We were really nervous about renting an apartment from someone we weren't familiar with, instead of a hotel. I am so glad we did. The apartment was very clean and in a nice area. Rodrigo was great and very accommodating. If we had questions, we just called him and he got right back to us with the answers. We would not hesitate to stay in one of Rodrigo's rental properties again. We had a great time.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und ruhig! Mit der L-Linie ist man schnell in Manhatten, wir haben uns während der Fahrten mit der U-Bahn durchaus sicher gefühlt und eigentlich ist es sehr schön, dem Trubel Manhattens am Abend zu entkommen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke, Tipp: gleich stilles Wasser zum Teekochen/Kaffeekochen kaufen, Leitungswasser ist chlorhaltig! Rodrigo ist ein reizender Vermieter und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung wärmstens!

the apartment was clean and well maintained. Subway is very accessible and without delay even on the weekend. Parking across the street was safe and not a problem. Grocery around the block and cheap places to eat by the subway station. Rodridgo was awesome and super helpful. Would stay here again and recommend the apartment to friends!

We stayed five days in this appartment, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The owner is nice and very easy to contact, the place is close to the subway station and just next to a supermarket. Perfect for 5-6 people.

I would 100% recommend this property. My partner,daughter and i stayed here the end of October 2008 and had a great time. The property was very clean,nice size and very comfortable.Everything we needed was here. The area is very quite,there is an excellent supermarket around the corner and the tube is 5minute walk,from there 15minutes to union sq. Rodrigo was a true gent,very friendly and very helpfull.Any problems we had he solved,any questions he answered,he arranged taxis,offered advice we even borrowed his laptop. All in all are holiday could not have gone better,and we will without doubt be staying here again.

It was an exciting stay! Rodrigo was very friendly and helpful! The train station was just 5 minutes from us. The apartment was very clean. Perfect for people without a car. The area where the apartment is very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely come back again for the summer of 2009.

We stayed in the apartment for a week and we felt at home. For the price it was a bargain there is a supermarket,and a great place to eat breakfast and lunch around the corner. The apartment exceeded our expectations very clean and modern! Thanks Rodrigo we will come back for Christmas!
