Swim off the dock, or reserve the space for your boat; Martha's Vineyard is a close neighbor and easy to get to - only 1/2 hour by boat from the dock. Or just watch the boats go by as they head to Waquoit Bay and Nantucket Sound.
Our open area living room/kitchen is spacious with panoramic views of the water. Watch the sunset from the living room or the patio. This private home in a quiet seaside neighborhood is part of a wildlife sanctuary - walk the mile long island and view the osprey nesting. Leave the island via a causeway and shopping and activities are only 10 minutes away.

When I found this property, it was love at first sight and it didn't disappoint. In fact it absolutely exceeded all my expectations. With my husband and our dog, Molly, we stayed here for 3 weeks and we're returning this September. We simply love it; it felt like home. The house was immaculate and the pictures couldn't be more descriptive of this idyllic spot. From the moment we rented until the moment we said good bye, the owners treated us more like family than renters. It's a perfect house for all age groups, nicely furnished with everything you could possibly need. The open floor plan on the first floor is perfect for lots of family and friends and provides an open, airy, perfect Cape Cod feel. Its location on the water is just the icing on the cake. The Mashpee area is wonderful; providing easy access to the Islands, wonderful restaurants in the area, beaches close by. Everything is close by, but once you cross over onto Monomoscoy Island you feel you're in your own private sanctuary. It's Cape Cod's best kept secret and the only reason I didn't write this review sooner is I really wanted to keep it that way.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.
