Casa Iguana sits on a lush half acre lot in beautiful Akumal. The completely renovated home features two distinct living areas each with 2 bedrooms. Features include a spectacular pool, 3 separate outdoor eating areas, large stone fountain, ocean front palapa and expansive ocean-front beach sand play area for volleyball or soccer. The main two-bedroom house has been completely updated and features marble floors, granite countertops and 2 ocean view balconies. The 2-bedroom adjacent palapa roofed home (casita) features a large kitchen, living room and 2 new bathrooms updated with marble and natural stone.

Outdoor activities include soccer and volleyball.

Casa Iguana is perfect for those families and friends that appreciate the privacy, space and intimacy that two completely separate living areas can offer a large group. Casa Iguana's unique layout features a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms. The fountain side patio can be set up for large dinner gatherings to accommodate the entire party for a spectacular evening meal. The entire property accommodates 8 people very comfortably, and up to 12 people with sharing of double beds. An additional infant can sleep in the port-a-play crib.

Amenities	Air Conditioning: All bedrooms have independent AC units Washer: Reasonably priced laundry service available in the village of Akumal. Linens Provided: Besides usual linen, beach towels are provided. Off Street Parking: Large parking area can accommodate up to six cars.
Beds	King Bed: Two twin beds convertible to king in lower bedroom (customized frame and specialized connection kit for seamless fit). Queen Bed: New queen mattress and box spring in master bedroom Double Bed (3): One casita bedroom features two double beds. The second, has one double bed plus a twin bed Twin/Single Bed: Lower bedroom in main house features two twin beds or King bed set-up. 2nd Casita bedroom has a twin bed. Convertible Bed: Futon sofa (full size bed) in main house living room Crib: Port-a-play crib and linen provided plus one high chair.
Entertainment	Cable/Satellite TV (4): TV in both living rooms and master bedrooms. DVD (3) Video Library: Limited number of DVDs for guest's enjoyment. CD Player Stereo System Music Library: Some limited number of CDs for guest's enjoyment. Private Pool: Spectacular 40 cubic meter, 5 ft depth pool. Dolphin and turtle figurines complement the children's end.
Kitchen	Full Kitchen (2): Both main house and casitas have fully equiped kitchens. Rear kitchen is specifically set up as a chef prep area. Cooking Utensils Provided Refrigerator (2): Each kitchen is fully stocked with refrigerators, stove, coffeemakers. Microwave (2) Catering Available: Evening Meals prepartion is availalbe for an additional fee of approximately $8.00 per person for dinner and $6.00 for breakfast plus cost of groceries paid direct to chefs.

Area adjacent to large fountain has seating area on patio to accomodate entire party. Large circular, tiled table between casita's seats 12. Balcony (2): Ocean view patios with chairs off the master bedroom and living room . Gazebo: Ocean front palapa with hammocks and chairs. Palapa also serves as great area to hang a pinata or marriage ceremony (extra charge for weddings).
View/Location	Oceanfront: Property has unobstructed ocean views with direct access to the ocean. However, due to force of waves, it is best to enter the water at beaches 10 minute walk away on either side of the property.

Other Amenities	Exception place to host a wedding (extra charge). Local wedding planner available. Two fountains on property.
Suitability	Pet Friendly Kid Friendly: All screens have fixed wooden frames, with balconies built with children in mind. Also, the pool is detached from the home and on a higher elevation making the property more child friendly than most in Mexico. However, property is still not completely child proof and renter assume responsibility for their children. Smoking Allowed: Smoking only outside. Smoking Not Allowed: No smoking inside of villa

Near Akumal there are many Cenotes, 2 natural/cultural theme parks, Xel-Ha and Xcaret, and historical ruins (Tulum). Property also may be used for a wedding ceremony for an additional charge.
