  Our stay in this clean, comfortable home was better than we could have wished for! It's convenient to everywhere, the neighborhood amenities are terrific, and the home itself is both well equipped and more than adequate for our family of five. We selected this home because of the positive reviews it received from other guests, and we were not disappointed. My kids have already asked when we can go back to the "house with the outside shower" so we'll defintely be return guests. Thank you for sharing your home with us,

  My only hesitation in writing this review is that I don't want to tip off too many people to this place that I can't get the week I want next year! But, the owner deserves it for keeping such a nice, comfortable rental. My husband, 5 year old son, and I spent a week here and absolutely loved it. The place is so tastefully decorated (not over-the-top kitschy beach, but understated and artful beach motifs). The kitchen is well stocked with equipment better than some of my own at home. This helped us thoroughly enjoy meals on the 3-season porch with beautiful views of one of the lakes (with frequents sightings of ducks and herons). We loved the location - short drive to the beach, but right across from the community pool (which is very well maintain). Nice restaurants nearby as well as mini-golf and even pirate adventures (oh yeah, and Fisher's Popcorn)! All far enough away from the OC commercial area, but close enough to enjoy if you'd like. The owner was very responsive to questions.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Our stay at your beautifully, furnished townhouse was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the back porch with the great views and terrific airflow. I wanted to share some things with you that I thought might be important as a rental owner. I was quite taken by surprise when I first walked into your rental. It was so very nice and immaculately cleaned . . . . Your kitchen was a delight and had everything we needed. I do a lot of cooking so it's important to me that a kitchen is well stocked. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us. I look forward to coming back again next year for a week in the beginning of August again.

  Our stay at Mallard Lakes was fantastic, probably our best lodging at the beach to date. The house was wonderful, plenty of space and very comfortable. . . We truly appreciate the quiet and convenience of the neighborhood, and will return for our next beach vacation. I have already recommended you to My niece and two friends.

  My wife and two daughters spent a week during peak beach season and had a wonderful time. The location is close enough to bike to the beach, but the pool next door offers a nice alternative. The house is very well appointed. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever rented. Everything I looked for I found and it was in good condition. Very quiet neighborhood. Excellent!

  We loved your house very much. Especially I liked the integrated, independent speakers of the sound system (I heard all this old stuff on Classic Rock 98,..FM). Also I wasn't expecting such a well equipped kitchen e.g. Zwilling breadknife (we always bring our own knifes). We went to the beach every day (once we saw about a hundred dolphins swimming by), we also played tennis every day although was a bit to hot for sport activities. This was a holiday to remember, just great!

  My Family had a great stay at this home. The owner was very prompt in answering questions even before a contract was signed. The house and community had everything we needed. The owner was gracious enough to allow us to use his beach chairs, umbrella, and toys. Also we were able to utilize the their beach caddy to haul all the items. Ocean City was only a short drive away, but most of our beach time was spent at Fenwick state park beach, also a very short drive away. My children had fun at the beach and at the community's two spacious pools. The kids also enjoyed playing shuffle board for the first time and hitting some balls at the tennis courts. All of these community amenities were just across the street from the house making the stay even better. Inside, the house was very clean and well furnished. The the large table on the screened in porch was great for a few stay in nights when we cooked, and for just relaxing after the kids went to bed. Thanks for sharing your home and allowing my family to have a great week at the beach.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.
