  We just got back from an incredible stay at this location. We could not have chosen a better place to get married. The house was amazing, and the lake view was unbelievable. Gary and Bonita were terrific hosts, they were so friendly and accommodating. Gary even performed the ceremony for us on the gazebo at the property (Thank You!!!). We cant wait to return and hope to make a regular vacation destination.

  This is by far the best lake house I have ever rented. The inside of the house is beautiful and is fully equipped for the whole family. We were shocked to see a new leather sectional and plasma TV in the family room. The kids loved the hot tub, kayaks, paddle boats, playground, beach like lake shore and cooking smores in the outdoor fireplace. The dock is very close and is easy to access with the golf cart that is provided. Gary, the owner, is a great guy. I didn’t have a trailer hitch on my car and he drove 15 miles round trip twice to help me put my boat in and take it out. You won’t find a better house at Pomme de Terre, if you can find an open date on the calendar.

  Amazing! We had an excellent stay in the new house this year - we might have to continue to make this a yearly thing. Gary and Bonita are so very helpful in making sure your stay with them is exceptional. The property has everything you can dream of and more. The boat dock and ramp are an added bonus and our 1-year old enjoyed all of the kid playsets. Don't forget to stop by the Ozark Winds Bakery in Tunas for some great baked goods. We have enjoyed coming down the past two years and look forward to next year!

  Wow! Wow! Wow! I absolutely loved this vacation. The house was gorgeous and had every amenity that I could want. Every room in this house was decorated so warm and welcoming. The owners Gary and Bonita were so friendly! In the words of my 16 year old, "They are the nicest people I've ever met". We loved the kayak, paddle boats, golf cart and the poparazzi towable tube they let us use. Having a private boat dock was great and we will definately be back next year.

  We just spent 3 wonderful days at this home and it was amazing! The house itself is beautiful and perfectly decorated. The kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were well stocked. Lots of room to move yet small enough to enjoy each other. The windows are perfect to sit and watch the children as they play in the yard. No one could be more kid friendly! The shade trees were so grand in the yard. I don't want anyone to know about this rental so keep it to yourself....ssshhhhh! Now if they only had a pool...hhmmm!! We already booked for next year and we are counting the days!!

  Each year my family tries to take a trip to the lake. In years past we have always gone to Lake of the Ozarks. This year we opted to try something different. To say I am glad we found this property at Pomme de Terre lake is an understatement! WOW! WOW! WOW! From the initial contact with Gary, I knew we had made the right decision. We arrived a little earlier than the recommended check in time and they were very accommodating to us. We took a quick look around the beautiful home and after we picked our jaws back up from the floor, we quickly changed into our swimwear and headed to the lake. The walk down and back is not bad at all and they even provide a golf cart for personal use as well. The swimming area near the dock is more like a beach area which was perfect for the three kids (2, 4 and 8). We used the kayaks and paddleboats too. We literally had to force ourselves out of the water each night! The yard with the playground equipment was well situated as well. The kids could play freely and you could see them from anywhere in the house or while enjoying the wonderful patio area. There was a large sidewalk area too where they were able to ride their bikes and scooters. Gary and Bonita were wonderful hosts! Each day they made sure we were having a good time and had everything we needed. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable for my family, my sister's family and our mother. My 4 year old niece told me on the last day that she was NOT leaving! Of course we all wished we could stay. As a matter of fact, we pre-booked for next year before we left but we increased our stay from 3 nights to 5 nights. 3 nights just went by WAY to fast!! We are really looking forward to returning next year!! Thank you again Gary and Bonita for helping us make such wonderful memories!! We will see you next year!

  Goggle 'Heaven on earth' and you would surely pull up Million Dollar View 2. Our recent stay there was wonderful! When we arrived we were amazed at the beautiful grounds that were so beautifully landscaped and tidy. Just walking through the front door of the house was a jaw dropper! We found an exquisitely decorated home with a view of the lake most anywhere you chose to sit. The bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet. We found Million Dollar View 2 the perfect place for our family gathering!! We can't wait to return !!

  Not only is the house BREATH TAKING, the owners are one of a kind!!!! It felt like we were at our families home. They were SOOO wonderful!!!!! We are now a permenant tenant(every Memorial Day weekend)!!!! We feel so blessed to have found a vacation spot that is not only BEAUTIFUL, but relaxing and family friendly!!!! Our children were welcomed with open arms (literally, my sisters youngest, whom is usually very shy put her arms out to Gary the minute we got there!!!), such a wonderful place to spend some time with family and friends and not worry about the little things!!!! The house is.......ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! All you need to bring is your food and some sun block!!!! You will not be disappointed staying at this home, Gary and Benita were absolutely wonderful, they were right there to answer any question or take care of anything that we needed!!! WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL vacation!!!!

  First of all thank you so much Gary & Bonita for being such amazing host. We were very thankful to be the first to stay in this new home. It is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need. EVEN EXTRA TOLIET PAPER!! The pictures do not do this place justice. It was truly beautiful! Great comfortable beds and the huge couch in the living room couldn’t have been more perfect! It was comfortable and had an amazing view. Our kids loved the golf cart, paddle boat and the yard. We ran out of time and didn’t get to use the kayaks but we be sure to next time! Thank you again for provide such wonderful accommodations on such a beautiful location. I feel as if we left a new part of our family behind when we left but we will be back next year for sure. Make sure you check this place out. You won’t be disappointed but make sure you book again while you’re there or you might miss your chance!! We're gonna make sure we share this will all our friends & family. Thanks again Gary & Bonita….we look forward to see you all again next year but hopefully sooner!!!
