Don't trust the pictures.......this tree house haven is even better in person. Bright and cheery, it features a screened veranda, pretty rear deck nestled on a wooded lot. Master bedroom is extra spacious, kitchen is beautiful and functional. Tasteful decor and personal touches make you feel right at home. A great escape but easily accessible to all the fun and activities afforded by the Charleston/Folly Beach area. Booking was easy and organized. We would highly recommend this property! If you're considering a trip to Charleston/Folly Beach area - this beautiful home is a few short blocks to beach, 5 minute ride to kayak rentals and about 10-15 minutes from Charleston proper. When we return to Charleston (and we hope it's soon) - we'll be sure to see if this special property is available. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts for sharing their tree house.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Thanks again, PC! Doug

My husband and I and our two dogs Tootsie & Chloe enjoyed our week in this wonderful cozy and comfortable cottage "treehouse". The location was great...4 short blocks to the beach and 2 blocks from shops and restaurants. The cottage was exactly as it appears in the pictures and everything we needed was there...comfortable furnishings and a well stocked great kitchen! We felt so at home. Definitely will be returning next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

The cottage was extremely well decorated and easy walking distance to shops and beach. We lucked out with nperfect weather too. The owners are great to work with! Our 2 dogs loved it as well and we will definitely return. You can't find a nicer place unless you want to pay for a McMansion on the beach!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

My sister, husband, two dogs, and I loved this house! It was our first time renting from VRBO and it couldn't have been easier! Our two dogs are under 25 pounds and it was a perfect size for them. The walk to the beach was really close and everyone must go eat at the Crab Shacks on Center Street!! The kitchen was spacious and was equipped with everything we needed to cook while we were there.I hope to be going back, because this rental property was everything we needed and asked for!Recommended for: Pet owners, girls getaway.

We loved staying at this cottage. It is very comfortable and so nicely decorated. My husband and I stayed wiht my infant son and my mother and we were all extremely comfortable. The kitchen is huge and completely well stocked for all types of cooking. I would highly recommend staying - it is only a few short blocks to the main downtown area and the beach. The elevator was very convenient.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The short walk to both the beach and restaurants/stores was perfect for us. The cottage itself was wonderful -- well furnished, well maintained, and very clean. We loved that it is located in a quiet area instead of on one of the more traveled roads. The kitchen is beautiful and well supplied with things such as coffee maker, toaster over, etc. The elevator certainly made it easy to get our stuff in and out. Owners were great to work with and we'll definitely return in the future.Recommended for: Pet owners.
