  The property & condo are both quite nice. And the owner is very helpful. The food here is goooood! Our favorite would be desoto,s but all do well. ( gumbo). This would be a great place for kids, but all The live music venues make it a good call for adults as well. We highly recommend this condo and Will call again next chance we get!

  This s the second year in a row we have stayed here. We love the amenities and the whole set up of the condo. It is decorated nicely and still has a warm family feel too. We have 2 teenage boys and 2 young boys who all love it here. It is a great location for the teens and right on the beach for the younger two. The owners (Pam and Mike) are so nice and will work to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.We will be back every year!

  Well-maintained condo looks just like the photo listings. Everything was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Paid hotel price with much more space to spread out, not to mention having a full kitchen AND laundry! Oh, and the view from the balcony is amazing! We stayed during spring break - security guards were visible on the premises throughout our stay, although no issues arose that we were aware of. It is a very family friendly area, and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Owner was very helpful and easy to work with. Cannot wait to visit again!

  The condo was good overall; however, a number of things were out of order inside the condo. There were dead batteries in the kitchen clock & the TV remote in the guest room. The windows came out of their tracks when opening and wouldn't stay open unless propped. The bathroom fan wouldn't operate. If I were the owners, I would definitely follow up with their cleaning company. I know we weren't staying in a hotel so we shouldn't expect everything to be top notch, however, the whole condo needed a deep cleaning. The kitchen cupboards were dirty as well as the walls. The carpets need to be cleaned as well. There wasn't any dish soap and I had to go buy some at the store. The condo is decorated nicely and if closer attention paid to cleaning and upkeep it would make a big difference. Some suggestions: Provide the following: a hairdryer; it could be mounted to the bathroom wall; more toilet paper, dish soap, a few small bars of soap; extra batteries (for TV remote), more hangers in the closet. Like I said earlier, overall everything was good but with some attention to detail it could have been GREAT!

  Owner response: Thank you for your suggestions for our condo rental property, we always appreciate feedback! A total deep cleaning, which includes fresh paint and carpet cleaning, is actually in the process as we speak. We do have to wait until our off season for the more detailed maintenance. As outlined in the rental agreement, we are not able to include certain extra amenities, such as dish soap and extra toilet paper, because we do not have daily cleaning or onsite staff. We will be sure to make guests more aware of this, especially for stays as long as yours. Thank you for your comments, and we appreciate you chosing to rent with us!

  This is a great condo with great owners. It is clean, comfortable and ideally located directly beachfront which made it great for relaxing on the balcony to watch the sun set. It is within walking distance of several restaurants but is also well stocked with cooking utensils should you choose to prepare your own meals. If you tire of the beach and dolphin watching you can take a short drive and shop to your hearts content or play a round of golf. There's something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and plan on returning.

  The listing description is very accurate and the pictures perfectly present what to expect when you arrive. Not only was our unit neat and tidy but the condominium building as a whole was a clean place that we were comfortable in. The kitchen is well equipped with every utensil you'd need to make a great dinner. It's nice and roomy; though there were only four in my party it could comfortably sleep eight. Waking up and stepping out on the balcony to see the ocean every morning was the best part of the stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous.The pool was also a big plus! I'd recommend this to anyone wishing to enjoy a stay in Gulf Shores.

  We had a wonderful time. It was one of the most relaxing, easiest trips we've had. The condo was perfect. The location was very convenient. I enjoyed watching the surf and people from the balcony; my wife and I enjoyed early morning walks on the beach before the heat and other folks arrived. Our daughter and her 9 yr old and 3yr old sons really enjoyed the beach and pool any time of day. We didn't rush or make any particular plans, we didn't wear shoes very much....we just slowed down and enjoyed ourselves. The beach has a way of doing that to you! We look forward to doing it again.

  My husband and I, along with another couple, decided to stay in a condo for the first time. Getting everything together to rent the condo was very simple. The Island Sunrise was very clean, well decorated, and very quiet.There were security guards onhand, who were exceptionally nice. The location could not have been any better! Besides being on the beach, it was so handy for shopping at the Outlet Mall or eating out if you chose to not cook at the condo. We enjoyed the swing sets late in the afternoon. Very relaxing! Also, having grills on hand was wonderful! We totally enjoyed our stay!
