Tucked above beautiful Lake Caspian on five private acres, this comfortable family house provides access to the wonders of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. You can barbecue in the large backyard fire pit or play croquet on the front lawn, but this property also provides access to the Highland Lodge's beautiful sandy beach with excellent swimming and boating. The beach is a short walk down the hill.
The house has comfortable sleeping arrangements for many configurations, including a large dorm-style sleeping area for kids. Located in nearby Hardwick are two fine restaurants emphasizing local fare. Biking starts at the doorstep, along with pleasant walks on country roads. More serious hiking is an easy drive away. With a screened-in porch and nice views of the lake and Mt Mansfield, the house is also a great place just to relax.
