  We rented this townhouse for seven friends to share during a class reunion. It met and exceeded our expectations. The furnishings, although somewhat dated, were clean and comfortable. The unit was roomy with an adequate kitchen, dining, and living area. The deck was large and had a view of the ocean. The beach was a short five minute walk away. Only one person used the pool and said it was nice. The only recommendation I would have is to post a small framed map of the development showing where the beach access is and how to get to the pool. The other recommendation would be to add a few more towels and washcloths. We are already talking about renting this place again next year for another get-together.

  Nice property with great ocean view. Enjoyed the amenities like being able to walk (3-4 minutes) to the beach, ping-pong (in garage), and hot tub (still open during our stay). The place is well kept - clean and well stocked with what you'd need/expect. If you're looking for a place to "unplug" - away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is a great place! But if you absolutely must go shopping or do something, there are plenty of places that are not far to drive to. My family (husband plus 2 kids - 12 & 14) enjoyed the stay. I'd recommend it to others!

  We stayed here for about 10 days. We are a married couple with two young kids. This is a great relaxing location. The subdivision is quiet and well maintained. There is walking access (stairs) to Manresa State Beach and State Park. The beach has great surfing, fire pits and nearby is sand dollar beach for shelling. It is a little more remote location but it is an easy drive to food and fun. The pool and tennis court are well maintained. The townhouse has two bedrooms and a laundry downstairs. Upstairs in a master suite, powder room, living, kitchen and dining. There is plenty of bedding and kitchenware. We liked this location so much we discussed buying a home here. I would definitely recommend this place and I would love to return.

  This beach house was amazing. Its a 5 minute walk to the beach and access to the pool was nice! The owners of this house keep it very clean and beautiful. We stayed for 5 days and I wanna go back! I would refer this house to anyone and hope we are able to go back someday.

  I just want to say that this place was great... easy to find. I had to stay in Le Selva Beach for a wedding. I was really happy with the condition of the rental, decorated really nice and very very clean. The listing description was very accurate, the pictures were exactly just how it looked. I really wish I could have spent more time there. One thing I would recommend is that you bring your food with you because there is only one market in Le Selva Beach...kinda expensive. I would recommend this property to anyone that was planning a trip.

  This was an awesome place to stay at La Selva Beach. We had a family of 6 and fit perfectly. The house was clean, neat, had all the amenities we needed and wanted. The views were spectacular and the quick walk to the beach was a real treat. The owners obviously have cared for the place well and were very conscientious to make it homey for us. The photos are accurate, but don't really do it justice. The home was way nicer than I expected. We left something behind and the owner was kind enough to mail it back to us. With the beach nearby and so many great attractions like Santa Cruz and Monterey, this is an ideal vacation spot for anyone. I highly recommend it!!!

  This townhouse is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, and the perfect spot to have fun in the sun without the crowds, any time of the year. I have been here in the summer and the fall, it was perfect weather each time. The fall and winter months are usually the clearest skies with less coastal fog, so a good place for the holidays. It is convenient if you are only two people for a romantic getaway and also large enough to hold a family of 7. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, no traffic noises. Watching sunset on the large deck with a glass of wine from any of the nearby wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains and Monterey area is what I really enjoyed each night. The beach is a short five-minute walk, which is convenient as they have a private trail that leads to the public beach. This is a great beach for joggers and surfers. It is never crowded, but does have a lifeguard on duty. Monterey is also a short distance away, if you want to plan a day at the famous Aquarium, or sightseeing in Carmel. Not to mention Santa Cruz boardwalk which is minutes away. If you are a gourmet cook you will not be disappointed as this kitchen comes with everything the owner describes. The gas grill on the deck is sufficient for no mess grilling. The nearby gourmet market has terrific food for take-out and deli as well as fantastic fresh meats & fish. There are a number of good restaurants nearby too. You will find this place a winner!

  I had the opportunity to stay here a few weeks ago with a small group enjoying the Passport Weekend organized by the Santa Cruz Vintners Association. I must say that this place was a great value and extremely convenient. It's a perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle. We spent most of our time BBQing on the huge deck and in the upstairs common areas - kitchen/dining room/living room (all which had a great view of the sunset!). The layout really kept everyone together comfortably. Yet the bedrooms were very private though which was a good balance. With six people it was nice to have multiple bathrooms too! We used the pool and spa which are very well maintained and clean. They do enforce the operating hours pretty strictly and we were greeted by the security manager right at close. The owner recommended stopping at the Corralitos Market for fresh, local meat to BBQ and boy was she right. I met another fellow who travels from Southern California every month to this place for their great meat. What a hidden gem! I would definitely recommend picking up something to BBQ and be sure to bring your own condiments, coffee and such. There is plenty of cookware and dishes galore, but the kitchen isn't stocked with perishables (which I guess is a good thing!). Finally, I couldn't believe how close to the beach we were! Just a few minutes and my toes were in the sand. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Santa Cruz.

  I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at this wonderful place. We started with wine on the deck, watching the ocean and the sunset. The townhouse was very comfortable with beachy decor. It was wonderfully quiet at night, and the beds were very comfortable. In the morning, it was a short walk to the beach. I loved walking along the water, looking at shells, birds, and the crashing waves. It was just what I needed! There was so much to do that we didn't use the pool, but that's for another time!
