This attractive, ground level studio with a private entrance is located in a private home in West Vail's best location, just a few steps from the free bus stop and very close to the West Vail mall which has several restaurants, two super markets, and other shops. Just outside your private entrance, which is street level, are views of the Gore Range to the southeast and the tops of the Beaver Creek ski trails to the west. Soak in the views while you listen to the quiet! (There are no stairs to climb!)
Your room is furnished with a queen-sized bed, dresser, night stand, a "love seat" and a stackable washer/dryer just off the full-sized bath area. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, small refrig with freezer, dishes, etc. All linens are included.
Separating the bedroom area from the kitchenette and seating area is a wooden, floor-to-ceiling accordian door which pulls all the way across the bedroom area so that one person could be resting while another watches TV.
There is a 4x5 ft. window which looks outside among several beautiful trees and the small stream. Everything you could possibly need has been included in your own quiet, private space. However, if you have any questions or need assistance, your hosts are just upstairs and will be happy to assist you.
Just two miles away is Vail Village. It is a ten-minute bus ride, and the bus will take you to the transportation center - the same place you would be if you drove a car. Since the parking cost is about $16 per day, that is a good start on your apres-ski fun! Parking is free during the summer.)
The bus runs every 30 minutes until 2:00 AM (less often during summer and fall), making a car unnecessary. There is also bus service to Beaver Creek if you wish to ski there. Beaver Creek is about 8 miles to the west.
In the summertime, you will enjoy sitting outside among the tall evergreen trees or basking in the sun alongside the babbling brook while you decide what activities appeal most to you. Certainly you'll be attending a few concerts or perhaps the Vail International Dance Festival during July and August.
There's no need for air conditioning as the unit is quite cool. |
