COME AND ENJOY A TROPICAL PARADISE..... EXPERIENCE SOUTH PADRE ISLAND YEAR ROUND AT THE TIKI.....the relaxing family atmosphere, gracious service and Island hospitality enhance our spacious three bedroom two bath condominium rental located on Texas' most beautiful beach. It is just a one minute walk to the beach. This is an ideal destination for swimming, bird-watching, para-sailing, surfing, sunning, boating, beach-combing, and bay/surf/deep-sea fishing.
The condominium is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen for all your needs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and has its own bathroom with large shower. One guest bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed, and the other bedroom is equipped with a double-size bed. A guest bathroom with tub is located in the hallway between both guest bedrooms. The living room sofa can be converted into a sleeper sofa for addtional bedding if needed. This unit is located on the 2nd floor. There is also a private balcony/patio with a view of the courtyard/pool area; satellite TV with six HBO channels and four ESPN channels. In addition, this unit has a washer/dryer located IN the unit - no need to use the shared laundromat located on the property. When you're not on the beach, your family can relax in one of the two heated pools.
The Tiki is your best beach front value. The complex is located within walking distance of the South Padre Island Convention Center, Sea Life, Inc., World Birding Center, shopping, and many local area attractions. Our Island restaurants pride themselves on a variety of American, Mexican, International cuisine, and seafood of course. Free local transportation while on the island is also available via "The Wave."
Other area attractions include the Port Isabel Lighthouse and Museums, sister cities: Brownsville and Matamoros, Mexico as well as the scenic Laguna Atascosa and Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuges. Also, located within a short drive from The Tiki, is a 72 par championship golf course in Laguna Vista.
WINTER TEXANS: If Spring Break is shortening your stay and March is too soon to head back North, come to the family-friendly Tiki where there are no Spring Break crowds nor outrageous Spring Break rates.

Why the Owner Chose Other South Padre Island Properties
A condo located on the North side of the Island was ideal for us because we didn't want to be in the middle of too much noise nor crowds. We find the North end is more beautiful, cleaner and much more peaceful. Taking sunrise and sunset walks on the beach is a favorite passtime of ours. The Tiki is an ideal location for us.

The Tiki cateres to families by offering two large family pools, BBQ designated areas with tables, and two nice courtyard areas. It's laid-back and the best value for the money on the island.

Beautiful condo! Each room was very comfortable. Our party of six enjoyed the open seating area and kitchen. The short walk to the beach was definitely a big winner!

We are two moms with 5 kids between us. We found this condo online and took a leap of faith. Everything was as promised and completely fantastic!! From the outside, the complex is run of the mill. There is nothing run of the mill about this condo. It is has been done in exquisite materials, colors and design. It is so homey and makes you feel like it's your own place. I'm a cook and the kitchen is wonderful. Outfitted for all your cooking needs. It is decorated like you just saw a magazine add. The amenities were perfect. There were even robes with slippers if you wanted to use them. We were outrageously happy and the kids have already asked to go back next summer. Thank you so much for a memorable vacation.

My wife and three teenage boys spent 4 nights in this property for an family vacation. We arrived to a very clean and fresh condo with everything that we needed for a fun vacation. It was so nice that I found myself constantly picking things up and asking the boys to pick up after themselves. The property owner does a great job with making you feel at home. We found ourselves not wanting to leave, but the condo was rented back to back, so we had no choice. This is really ideally located to the beach, with two pools to cool down and wash off with after being in the surf all day. The grounds are pleasant and well groomed and there was a friendly and helpful staff onsite for any issues or questions that we had. The condo itself was a decent size, with tile throughout and just enough caarpet runners where you need them. The master bedroom was well appointed with a large flat-panel screen, very comfortable bed with tons of pillows and custom-tiled shower in the bathroom. There is a large balcony that runs the length of the condo, with grass mats and plenty of outdoor seating area. There was even a hose to use on the balcony for rinsing bathing suits and toys. All in all we were thrilled with this condo and we would definitely like to stay there again. Thanks for making our stay so homey and fun!

Beautiful home and property..... Beds were very comfortable and clean... Everyone had a great time. It's close to the ocean and to town. Kitchen was great, if you like to cook, it has just about anything you would need.

I was very pleased with the Condo. It has so many little things that made us feel welcome. It was so nice to find water and Coke in the fridge when we arrived. Everything from the soap to the wine glasses were high end. It was more than just a vacation Condo, it was a home!

We really didn't know what to expect with the price being so low compared to the other places we were looking at, but to our surprise it was a beautiful clean place, the decor was really nice!!! Our hangout spot was the kitchen it is gorgeous!! Our next trip to the island will be a family trip and we will be staying here!! We ate out at Daddy's Cajun and The Big Donkey Mexican Resturant they both had really good food and only a short driving distance from THE TIKI!

Just returned from another great Padre vacation. Our family has been visiting the island often since 1998. The Sellers have a beautiful vacation home! Every detail has been attended too and more. The decor is classy and very soothing. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to stay somewhere that is obviously much more than a rental and had so many luxurious additional features.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and decided to spend a weekend at South Padre Island. After reviewing several possibilities for lodging, I made arrangements to rent this particular condo due to the beautiful description of the place as well as the reasonable price. Wow! What an awesome experience! It was more than what we had expected! The decor was absolutely gorgeous throughout the condo and each bedroom was very clean and spacious. We even had access to the two pools that are available for the renters. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo for any couple or family who is looking for a wonderful place to stay at the island that has the feel of a 5-star hotel without the hefty price tag. My husband and I are definitely looking forward to another romantic getaway at this same place in the near future!
