Our condominium is the ultimate three bed room unit at the luxurious five star Diamond Beach condominiums in Galveston, Texas. Interior design is by Lisa Frazar, a renowned designer from New York City who specializes in Hampton's Beach houses. The interior is chic modern and cool. There is a Jennifer Peck original in the living room. Jennifer is a Galveston artist who's work reflects island life with bright colors and whimsey. The patio furniture is from the Richard Schultz 1966 collection.
Unit 310 is on the third floor. This floor affords the best views as it is high enough to have a view of the Gulf, but low enough that you don't see the concrete parking lot on the seawall. The third floor has Bar None, an up scale cocktail lounge, and the movie theatre on it as well.
The fitness center, game room, and Chocolate Spa are just one floor up, and the lobby, business center, and indoor pool are just one floor down. The indoor pool is the only indoor heated pool in Galveston.
The amenities at Diamond Beach are second to none.

- Ocean View : Best Gulf view at Diamond Beach. You have a great view of the gulf, but cannot see the sea wall from our vantage point. The higher floors open up the view down on the concrete parking lot of the sea wall.

It never ceases to amaze me when I wake up in the morning and walk out into the hall and see the view of the Gulf and the palm trees. The front of the condominium is all glass.

Family Fun in Galveston!

Our family of five enjoyed a change of pace from our annual pilgrimage to Florida to enjoy the adventures of Galveston area. This condo and the Diamond Beach property was the perfect setting for our trip. The condo is beautifully furnished and equipped with every creature comfort, right down to condiments and basic necessities you usually have purchase upon arrival. We are one of the first renters so everything is almost completely new. In fact, we were the first to use the grill among other things. The owner was very accommodating and flexible with our travel dates. He has a local contact that was equally hospitable...met us on check-in, helped carry bags up, answered local questions and even met us on departure to see how week was. Again, very nice touch and professional. The Diamond Beach property is stunning. Numerous pools, water slide, two hot tubs, lazy river, indoor heated pool, sandy beach area enclosed on property. We all enjoyed the game room and in-house theater (watched Final Four on big, big screen...very fun!). My wife and I really enjoyed the nice workout facilities. Got some great workouts in to offset the big dinners. Diamond Beach is still selling units and establishing the property and services. We visited after their local spring break and before summer season, so at times, it felt like we were the only people there. If you go, enjoy some BBQ at Queens...awesome local "joint." Day trips to Schlitterbahn and NASA were also great. Didn't spend much time on the beach, particularly because property was so great, but also because beach options close to property left us wanting for the white sand of Florida. That said, no regrets about our Galveston trip and certainly nothing but praise for this condo, its owner and the Diamond Beach property.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful three bedroom condominium in the early spring. The facility is absolutely stunning. First class amenities. The Unit, 310, that Tom and kathy own is professionally decorated in sheik modern luxury. There is a 55 inch television with Blue Ray DVD in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master and third bedroom's have large flat screen televisions as well. Everything is immaculate. The facility has a great bar down the hall from 310. Jeff, the bartender is a great guy and makes a great Lemondrop. The bar is called Bar None. There is also a movie theatre on the same floor, where my husband and I enjoyed college basketball. The pools are beautiful with an indoor heated pool, a Lazy River pool and a large outdoor pool surrounded by cabanas and great lounge chairs. There is also a spa and a workout facility in the building, again, first class. Can't say enough about this great facility.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, pet owners, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We stayed at this fabulous condo over Spring break and it was spectacular! The decor is sleek and contemporary and the amenities were outstanding. This is not your normal Galveston rental! Everything is done with 5 star taste and as close to a Four Seasons as Galveston can offer. Both Tom and Kathy were wonderful to work with in making all of our arrangements and accomodating us. We look forward to returning whenever we visit Galveston!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

My husband and I were the first to rent this magnificent condominium. The decor is beautiful and contemporary. The view in the morning when you walk out of the bedrooms into the hall is stunning. Palm trees, the Gulf of Mexico, and the beautiful pools. The facility is truly like a Ritz Carlton. Nothing in Galveston like it.
