The interior is well appointed from the kitchen with granite counters and all the utensils a gourmet would want to the spacious living area with a TV and wireless internet. It only gets better as you go outdoors on the private lanai to find a BBQ grill, plunge pool, another large outdoor dining and sun area and much more.
The best part however is the location. You are out on a peninsula, which allows for privacy and security when you want it. However, you have the proximity to Roatan’s premier tourist area for nightlife, shopping and entertainment. All of these are a quick walk away.
Additionally guests can enjoy the full range of fun activities Roatan has to offer easily from this house. Diving, Fishing, Beach, kayaks etc. are all within your reach. In fact the home is on the iron shore and is waterfront with the perfect white sand beach of Half Moon Bay only about 50 yards from the front door

Amazing Views: This home at Coral Vista is on the point at Half Moon Bay, a quiet and secluded location that starts about 100 yards from the center of West End Village. It starts at the end of the bay’s beautiful white sand beach, with a coral reef starting out front that is great for snorkeling, and as you go further out, scuba diving. As you are on a narrow point of land, the ocean views from the bedrooms, the living and dining room, and all of the balconies and patios, are simply amazing.
Convenient Location: Located on a quiet point of land in West End Village, the house is only 15 minutes from the Roatan airport. West End Village is the heart of international Roatan, and is laid back yet lively, well developed for tourism but not tacky or over-commercialized. Once you get here you are just a short walk to restaurants, dive shops, bars, grocery stores, etc., so you don’t need to rent a car; you can easily walk everywhere in town. Water and car taxis are abundant and inexpensive if you want to explore other spots, such as West Bay Beach (5 minutes and $2 by water taxi), one of the largest and most beautiful beaches on the island. And the reefs that surround Roatan are a snorkeler’s and scuba diver’s paradise, with hundreds of dive sites, many of them world class.

Our group (4 couples) just spent a week at the villa. We had a few glitches, but the management group was very helpful is correcting/rectifying the problems. The snorkeling right in front of the villa is excellent, beautiful coral reefs and tons of fish...we walked to the beach, only a few steps away, and in we went. No need to spend additional money to rent a boat to take you out. We didn't need to rent a car either...you can walk to tons of restaurants, gift shops, and a few small grocery stores (the larger ones we took a cab to for about $25 round trip, including tip, paid when we returned.) The local cats are a lot of fun and would hang out on the poolside veranda with us. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and I would stay here again! I was not the person that made the reservation, but wanted to write this review to be helpful to those looking for a place to stay on the island.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

Beautiful luxury home over looking the Bay. You have multiple spectacular views of the Bay from the master bedroom and the veranda outside of it on the second floor as well as from the great room and dining room. Fully equip kitchen and very well appointed, makes your stay truly memorable and enjoyable. This home is right adjacent to the Bay to go snorkeling and a five minute walk to a Dive Shop. Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, night life, shopping and grocery store. Would defiantly rent this property work and work with this owner again. A truly enjoyable and memorable experience!Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

Beautiful luxury home well appointed. Oh my......what a fabulous vacation spot for family and friends to get together. I spent my 50th in this house and had the time of my life. This house is super comfortable. What's better than getting a great nights' sleep, waking up and walking out to the deck area to the soaking pool......or walking 30 feet with snorkel gear and waking up with the beautiful fish right off the property. If I could give this property 10 stars, I would.Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.
