This is hands down one of the best vacations I have experienced in a while :) The house if full of the items needed to complete your vacation without the stress of having to purchase those "extras" in order to have the vacation you planned. There is everything from grills to burners for a crawfish or shrimp boil. I spent most of my time during the week in the recliner by the waters edge. It was so relaxing to work from here on the wifi that reaches all the way to the end of the pier! I am a virtual teacher and this was a wonderful place to mix a little work and jump in the boat every evening to take that sunset ride from our own private dock :) If you have a boat, don' t leave it at home! You will not be dissappointed! This house has plenty of bankets and bedding for the rooms as well as the pull out couches, pots and pans, spices, washer and dryer, 2 refrigerators( the gas grill is not really an option because it needs a new grate; however, the charcoal grill was perfect), a wonderful bar and grill area under the house, 2 tv's in the bar area as well as 2 large shop fans mounted to the roof in the bar area for plenty of air on those summer days, fantastic lighting, one bathroom upstairs where the two bedrooms and loft are located, one bathroom in the master suite downstairs which is very nice along with a flat screen tv of it's own, one outside bathroom located in the bar area which has a shower as well, a nice pinic table on a deck built adjacent to the bar area, a nice sundeck with hammocks and recliners( beware because one of the wooden recliners is broken but the rest are fine :), a paddle board with a paddle which is more difficult than it looks... haha(yes...I tried that! It was fun! ), a kayak with a paddle( I could not find the sling back seat to it but it worked ok ), the ice machine is broken but I spoke with the owner and he already has another one to put in it's place, crab baskets, beach toys for the kiddos, a few beach chairs, kids dip nets, 2 small fishing poles, etc....there are so many items it is hard to remember! The owner is friendly, very informative, and prompt. If you are looking for relaxaion at a great price in a wonderful locaton, this is THE PLACE TO BE :) Thanks Grant! My family had a wonderful time:)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Arrived right after Hurricane Issac but everything was wonderful. Storm kept the crowds down so we never had to wait for a restaurant. House had everything you could want plus a lot of extras. Was a very short walk across the street to the beach and had great swimming, boating & fishing off the private boat dock in the back yard. Could be a great party house with the outside bar and grills.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Wow! This place is fantastic! The pictures don't do this house justice. We stayed here for my husband's 40th birthday. We spent the majority of our time in the bar downstairs. We did most of the cooking outside and there were plenty of tables and chairs. We spent a lot of time on the dock. My daughter is 6 and she really enjoyed checking the crab trap (provided by the owner) and fishing. We brought our own fishing gear, but the house had fishing poles, nets, etc that you could use. We saw at least 5 dolphins during our stay. They came up really close to the end of the dock and did some flips for us! It was amazing. Some of our friends came over in their boat and we were able to dock the boat at the end of our very own private pier. Also, the driveway is really long, so there is plenty of parking. The house had everything we needed-- a large pot for the fish fry, plenty of dishes and silverware, and a full set of pots, pans, tupperware and baking dishes. Also, We were greatful to have the ice machine downstairs. It came in handy, along with the bar area refridgerator. We have stayed in some of the really fancy houses on Pensacola Beach and in some of the condos. I must say that we enjoyed this house 100 times more. Hands down, this is the best beach vacation we have ever taken. I will most definitely rent this place again. The only negative thing I can say is that we had to leave! Grant, thank you so much for sharing your beach house with us! We had a blast!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

There are not enough words to describe the beauty of this place. From the breathtaking sunsets to the dolphins swimming out back, it is simply paradise. The house sits back off the road and is secluded from all the noise. The bar area outside is equipped with anything and everything - multiple grills, TV, sink, refrigerator, ice maker, bathroom, you name it! The upstairs is very roomy and can house a nice size group of people. The apartment below is extremely spacious and includes its own bathroom/shower and a big flat screen TV with satellite. The views from every angle are amazing. If you love the Key West lifestyle, this place is for you. Last but not least, the owner, Grant, is very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back very soon!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is amazing. Right on the bay, with a pier for your own personal use. Unlike a lot of beach houses, you don't share the space with anyone. Every amenity is provided. Do you need a hammock, an outdoor shower, or your own personal bar? You are in the right place. With a three-minute walk to the beach, and the FloraBama in spitting distance, this place has everything, including an outdoor bathroom for fun and convenience. We caught our own crabs with the provided traps. (Use squid as bait.) We had a shrimp boil. (There is a big pot here.) We had satellite TV. (And watched the Mavs win the champiomship.) We worked remotely, using the wireless that reaches everywhere you can sit. We swam in the bay. (Be careful for jellyfish.) We washed our towels. (Pro tip: pick up detergent!) We grilled many meats and seafoods. (Propane and charcoal grills provided!) We ate all of our dinners outside on the many communal tables provided, while watching the sun set over the bay. In closing, rent this house. You will not regret it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family, mother, three grown daughters, two spouses and two teenage grandchildren meet at the beach every year. This house was perfect for us all. The house is large and equipped with everything a beach vacation calls for. We swam, fished, cooked and then ate like kings. We'll come back again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This was everything we hoped for, and MORE! We were so pleased with this accommodation- everything was very well maintained and clean, of great quality and better than the pictures. What the description does not include are the countless hours of family entertainment this location provides: catching hermit crabs and starfish in the river, fishing off the pier, watching dolphins swim by in the morning and at night, hanging out in the cool bar under the deck, walking just across the street to go to the gulf, or just down the road for cocktails at the Florabama! We also loved hanging out in the hammocks just relaxing! We had a great vacation in Perdido Key and we’d all be happy to spend another spring break in this fun location.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Nice Place! Well maintained, and very well stocked. We liked the privacy. If anything the rooms might be a little larger than they appear in the photos, but that might just be my perspective. Very roomy upstairs.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Thanks for a fantastic stay! The description and pictures of the house are excellent, it has plenty of room, everything was very clean, the owner promptly answered the questions we had, and we would recommend this property to anyone. We walked or rode bikes to the Florabama, the Rib Shack (excellent BBQ), the Waffle House, and the nearby Shell/convenience store. It wouldn’t be far to drive to a grocery or any of the other stores in Orange Beach. We particularly enjoyed the boat dock (deep water even at low tide, big fish cleaning sink, power, water, and stairs for swimmers) and the downstairs bar (plenty big with a sink, BBQ grill, cooking equipment, bathroom/shower, TV, stereo, refrigerator, and icemaker). The best part was the short trip in our boat to the Gulf where we caught our limit of big Red Snapper every day. This is a fantastic place that our whole family enjoyed for about the price of a hotel room. We’ll be back soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
