Our family of five really loved this place! Plenty of space for everyone, very 'authentic' cabin feeling property. We had two deer visit us the evening of our arrival. Our five and seven year olds really enjoyed the jacuzzi and marshmallow roasting fire pit where we made smores under the stars. The kitchen was very well stocked (including complimentary waffle mix, coffee, and tea), there were lots of DVDs (nice variety), furnishings were comfortable, and the beds were terrific...I got a great night's sleep. So many nice touches...felt like home. Definitely would recommend! We'll be looking forward to coming back again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you for the feed back!

I love this Cabin, it has all the stuff we forgot to bring including hot cocoa! The bed was like heaven! When I have free time I spend it carefully as I am in the Navy this was the most relaxing vacation I have had in years, and with a military discount to boot! I love the Cornerstone Cabin and I will be back again after deployment.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you Angela!

From the moment we stepped onto the tree covered property we were amazed by the beautiful old growth trees that surround the cabin. If you are looking for a Mt Rainier experience this is it, literally within minutes from the gate to Mr Rainier this cabin was wonderful! The deer walk through the property daily and while soaking in the hot tub under the stars we were visited by a friendly raccoon! All the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for me and my 5 kids! Definitely an awesome experience and the owners are friendly and helpful. Perfect Vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you Jason!

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: My husband grew up in this area and has lived here all his life. We live nearby so this is our playground for hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, fishing, boating, and anything outdoors. We love this area, and sharing it with others!
Why the Owner Chose Ashford:
I love to go on long hikes or snowshoe trips at Mt Rainier and this cabin is halfway between those trips and my house. As well, the backyard to this cabin has over 500 acres of national forest, with easy access for long hikes through beautiful trees. This is the perfect stopover after a long day to soak in the hot tub, curl up with a book on the deck, cuddle on the futon to watch a movie, or just watch nature saunter through your yard.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We enjoy the solitude, getting away from the rat-race, getting back to nature, finding peace in watching deer, squirrels and other wildlife while relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub. The cabin does not have cell phone coverage, phone, internet, cable or satellite. You can 'drop out' and totally relax. However, if you must have any of these they are all convienently located within 5 miles of the cabin in Ashford.
