  We enjoyed a lovely family holiday over christmas 2012. The villa lived up to the photos on the website and was beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were all clean and spacious and had everything we required. Ample towels for home and beach were provided. There were deckchairs to take to the beach which really came in handy. The location of the villa was a five minute walk to a stunning beach which we never tired of. Our children swam with turtles every day and the food at Ju Jus was perfect. Maureen was very helpful in providing groceries for our arrival and in answering questions. The only blip was the fact that we would have preferred more prompt and regular communication with the owner before our arrival - only to make us feel more comfortable that the booking was confirmed and the owner was reliable and bona fide. Booking over the internet can be a leap of faith and in this respect more assurance from the owner would have allayed all our unfounded fears. The property is amazing though - go and have a fabulous time!! Be aware there is a plunge pool though close to the back door which might make families with very small children nervous.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  Lovely accommodations, just like the pictures -- landscaping even more lush. Private & safe. It was super being able to simply cross street & snorkel on the best beach. Drove all over the island, did Harrison's Cave, Oistin's Friday Fry & enjoyed gorgeous mall in Holetown & luxury movie theater there. Security deposit was returned promptly the morning of our departure. Have traveleld the Caribbean & Hawaii numerous times & would definitely recommend this vacation home.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We enjoyed our weeklong stay at 10 Turtle View; more than relaxing it was a wonderful visit. The home is beautifully decorated, well maintained and very clean. The area is a safe and secure small gated community and a very close walk to a beautiful beach. The plunge pool and the community pool were perfect for a quick dip or lounging. No crowds here! Within walking distance down the beach to the Fairmount Hotel for a wonderful lunch, dinner or drink or more casual JuJus or the Lone Star restaurant were enjoyed. We had no difficulty obtaining our security deposit in full from Mr. Templeton. Thank you a great time!

  Be informed that the owner of this rental is not honest and does not keep his word.My wife and i stayed there in July/August.We live in the states and sent $4500 for the month plus $300 deposit.He insisted we send the money by bank transfer which cost us about $100.The owner said he would repay us for the cost of the transfer when he return our deposit.Well it has been over 4 months and i have sent countless e mails to Mr.Templeton and he flat refuses to return my deposit.I did not want to write a negitive review but i have begged Mr. Templeton for months now to return our deposit to no avail so i though i would let everyone now what kind of man you are dealing with. This review has nothing to do with the way we were treated at the Apt.The service was great and the caretaker was wonderful and very helpfull in every way.Just be aware of the fact that you could have a hard time getting your deposit back.

  Owner response: Never once have I refused to return a deposit .It is true that administrative/banking gremlins interfered and delayed the return of Reggie's deposit.Thankfully all renters have looked after the house and I have never had to deduct any sum before returning deposits.

  We stayed here in April 2010. Well appointed house in the St.James district of Barbados, nice decor and very well maintained with lovely gardens and swimming pool(s); situated 100 yds from a really nice beach. V.good location and close to good restaurants & amenities etc., is also a short walk from the bus stop if guests want to use the reliable bus service. Good on-site property management service and the owner was very helpful. I'd recommend this property and would stay at this house again.
