We visited Nassau from Dec. 30 to Jan. 5 and had a wonderful trip. Two families shared this villa and it easily accommodated us. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen was stocked with the basics for cooking. The location is away from the tourist areas and easy to find. You will definitely need a car at this location. Learning to drive on the left was fun, and we enjoyed exploring around the island. Yamacraw Beach, a 2 minute walk from the villa, is lovely and the water is shallow for quite a ways making it perfect for smaller children. Parts of the beach are a bit trashy and could use some clean up. There are small packs of dogs that do roam around the neighborhood (we saw this all over the island), but we found them to be non-aggressive. Suggestions: TV in 3rd bedroom, larger bed and chair in master, and more dishes and glasses. We had such a good time and none of us were ready to go home. We were very happy with Brian and this villa. Much better than a hotel and we would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for your review and glad that you enjoyed your stay at Prince Adam Villas. The beach at Yamacraw has sea weeds that appears to be trash but comes in with the tides during the winter months and are gone during the springs. Regrettably are pet laws are not fully enforced and guests and vrbo renters in the area who are pet lovers enjoyed and encourage their presence. Whilst we made an exception and allowed two families the villas are designed for six. Again, thank you - for your suggestion in regards to beds and chairs and will be given priority during the summer.

We just returned on Dec 22 from visiting the Bahamas for the first time. We are a family of five with grown children so the usual hotel room is just too cramped so we have sought our VRBOs for the last number of years. From the moment we began our inquiry to the time we left Bryan was always responsive and handled our questions very well. We truly enjoyed staying in this spacious condo with all the amenities we needed including a BBQ on the back patio. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of condo island (Paradise Island) you may want to consider this location. You will want to pick up a rental car so you can get to restaurants or the Super Value grocery store just up the road. Even though this condo is on the eastern most tip of New Providence, it is just a little drive along Eastern Road and $1 for the bridge, to get to Cabbage beach on Paradise Island. We tried other beaches, but this was the best by far for cleanliness, spaciousness, better waves and deep sand. My only suggestion is to sleep with the windows closed and use the air-conditioning as there seems to pet dogs that wander around at night serenading the moonlight (not the owners fault). After a couple of nights we got used to it, but if you are a lighter sleeper just take my first suggestion. This was our first trip to Nassau and it is very much like other Caribbean Islands we have also enjoyed. Unfortunately a week was too short, but sometimes that is better than nothing at all. Thanks again, Bryan - the coconuts which fell on the ground in the back yard were very tasty.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

I rented Prince Charles Villia for a 7 day vacation/ husband birthday trip. The town home was very spacious for my family of 4. Well decorated and clean, nice location just across the street from the beach. I walked to the beach every morning @6:20 to watch the sun raise just breath taking....Brain was very helpful with suggestion on where to go and were to eat. But I must mention the Marty Q docks if you don't mind cooking on vacation go down to the docks and buy some fish and crabs and enjoy your fest. A rent a Car is a must have at this location. All in all I will definitely come back to Nassua and stay at Prince Charles Villia..We just LOVED it !!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Hello Sharonda its nice chatting with you and your family and happy to read that you got an opportunity to visit Montagu Docks where fresh seafoods can be brought daily. Don't hesitate to email when planning your vacation for the Bahamas again.

Three families decided to give Prince Adam's villa a try instead of the traditional hotels and it was the best choice we made. Our children were participating at the Carifta Swimming Championships and we were indeed at home. At first we were very skeptic because of the myriad of negative response about not staying at a hotel but we gave it our best shot and all I can say is excellent!!!! Very very clean, we needed nothing, everything that should be there was there and more.....The Villa was spacious, comfortable and homely. Well done Byan!! The location is at one end of the Island but we had no problem finding and discovering.......Bahamas is pretty small and after a day of driving you pretty much know your points........If you get lost it takes only a few minutes and questions to get back on track....Love it and would recommend. My only suggestion is to replace the bed in master bedroom with a King size bed and there's space for a lounge chair by the window and a television is needed in the third bedroom.....That way you are not only marketing one family but different families under one roof.....Reason being its more private especially when you want to just lay in bed and be entertained. You dont feel like being in a general area and when the other couples close their doors you dont want to disturb. Apart from those its perfect and we worked around our disappointments because we knew they were livable.......Thanks bryan!!! Our family of four stayed for a week and really enjoyed the property and nearby beach. The ocean, viewable from the porch, is just two lots away from the villa and was a fabulous spot to end each day with a dip in the water or reading a book on the beach chairs (provided by Byran). We also enjoyed the quiet of the house away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau. We would spend part of each day out seeing sights and then relax back at the house. I would reccomend this place for any family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Many thanks! happy that you got a chance to go sight seeing around New Providence and in particular to enjoy the surrounding of the eastern foreshore.

The villa was just what we were looking for. It easily accommodated 5 of us. It's right near the beach on a classy part of the island. There also is a grocery within walking distance. Bryan, the owner, is quite nice and he is very easy to reach should you have a question. The property met all of our expectations. The only negative I can see is transportation. If you're in a hurry, you can call a cab...but it costs a good bit of money ($25-30 to DT Nassau). BUT, why be in a hurry when you're on vacation!? You can grab a local bus for $1.25 where you can mingle with the locals. Overall- great place! I recommend. BradRecommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for your review, I am glad that your transportation needs were met by using the bus during the daytime and taxi at nightime that facilitated in you having a great time.

This was a perfect home for a family of five to spend a relaxing week away from snow. The owner was available always by phone before and during our holiday. The house was immaculately clean and generously provided all linens, beach towels, beach chairs and snorkelling equipment. It was very relaxing after a day's explore to sit on the front porch, chat and sample a Kalik or two. There were lots of places to walk -- beautiful residential streets with lots of gardens and lovely ocean vistas. The beach was a two minute walk, and although not sandy, perfect for an early morning dip. The only disadvantage is the distance from downtown Nassau. A car is necessary to enjoy the restaurants, shopping and downtown attractions. However, the advantages certainly outweighed this tiny inconvenience and make this location well worth a visit. Thank you!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for the review - It was also nice to hear that you got a chance to drive around the island and enjoyed the the beaches at Love Beach. Please come again!

We spent a week during the Christmas holiday with our family of six. It was necessary to have a car to get around the island. It was perfect to have space to eat, cook and just be together. Bryan was wonderful to work with and helped with many questions.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Tina, happy that you and your family enjoyed the Hoilday and your time at the villas. I was also pleased to learn that you got an opportunity to see the Junkanoo Festival on Boxing Day. All the best to you and your family in the New Year and please come again.

Owner info
About the owner: Bryan E. Taylor was born in Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas. I am employed at the island’s electrical company in the area of economic planning. I attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and completed my graduate studies at New England University in Armidale, Australia. My work assignments sometime involve traveling to the Caribbean and other parts of the world. My most recent trip to China included visits to the cities of Bejing, Chengdu and Shanghai. These travel experiences enable me to develop an even greater appreciation for the beautiful Bahama shores. When I am not attending church, gardening, reading, or watching television, I spend most of my time working with my fraternal organization and charities. I live in unit 1 and unit 2 is the rental unit.
Why the Owner Chose Nassau:
I grew up in eastern New Providence and have watched the developments of the eastern part of the island. After work I enjoy walking the eastern broadwalk and jogging the rolling hills of nearby. Needing to make an investment I purchase the vacant property in 1996, which has now been established as vacation rentals. It is my wish that the rentals will keep me active during my retirement years. The charm of the property is its location - at a junction of Prince Charles and Adam Street two minutes from Yamacraw Beach. Security screens and alarms secure the property.
Why rent you ask? Two minutes walk to the beach; enjoyment of the sunrise and watching the waves roll in at sunset and high tide made it worth while. You can walk the boardwalk after work and at low tides stroll the reef and pick up tiny little sea animals and shells along the way. 'The times spent near the eastern foreshore, I would not trade for anything in the world”
