My wife and I enjoy driving down and catching the ferry over. This unit is great for just the two of us. It's very comfortable with plenty of room for our own space. The short walk to the beach is easy and fun. My wife loves to go on longer walks. This would be down to the Fort one day, and the other direction the next. She loves looking at all the beach homes. Everything we needed was provided, and it was extremely clean and neat. We were met almost every day by a really friendly man at the main entrance. I wish I'd gotten his name because he added a lot to the good experience. Tacky Jack's is just across the street. We missed Saturday night karaoke, but maybe next year. The owner,Danny, was great to deal with. We'll be back.Recommended for: Age 55+.

The condo was clean and roomy. The bunks in the hall were perfect for my 5 yr old son. I liked being on the second floor as the amenities (pool, beach, etc.) were very accessible. We did have a few maintenance problems, but they were minor and the owner corrected them immediately. Overall, our stay was great!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family enjoyed staying in this condo. It is very quaint, comfortable, and cozy. The children liked sleeping in the bunk beds and the kitchen was very handy. The property's security is very helpful and friendly and their presence is known. The grounds are clean and the heated pool and hot tub are great. The beach was great. It was clean and not overly crowded. Overall, the property is very quiet and family friendly. Danny and PJ are great to work with. Their prompt and helpful responses made booking quiet easy. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends. We took advantage of the historic Fort Morgan and the Mobile Bay Ferry. We did not realize how much history is in this area. There are many attractions to keep us coming back for several more trips. Our 9 year old and 13 year old asked if we could stay for the rest of the summer. We wish!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Condo exactly as described located on the second floor. Standing on the patio, you look over the rooftops of some colorful cottages to see the beach and ocean. A picturesque view. Of note, this condo is very roomy for a one bedroom. NIce, updated, cheery furnishings with large patio windows. The patio has a table for four overlooking the pool and waterfall. In fact, the waterfall creates nice background noise and I suspect would mask any other pool noise if busy in the high season of summer. Pleasant to sit on patio during the middle of day to read (when too hot to be on beach) or any time for breakfast, dinner, or evening. In fact, the patio was shaded for the most part during our stay in May. Even though the condo is technically not ocean front, it only takes a short, but quite pleasant, walk to get to the beach. The beach was clean, beautiful and empty. Short walk to the Ft Morgan via beach. This condo is located a very short distance from the entrance to Fort Morgan. The ferry to Dauphin Island is less than two minute drive. A very good idea to stock up on groceries in Gulf Shores before you drive out as it is 19 miles or so back to the grocery store. One restaurant, Tacky Jacks, is across the street. Great view from their deck (recommend eating outside there) and the food was decent (although somewhat pricey if you eat there twice daily) but basic. Not a problem for the two of us at all for we would rather have the view and empty beaches as opposed to crowded beaches and restaurants on every corner. Another restaurant approx 6 or so miles back east is The Pines (near Gulf Shores Plantation), behind convenience store. Food was good, restaurant was clean but dark (low lighting) and inside dining only. We went on a Monday evening. Blues band was playing, noise level high, but the band was excellent. The wait staff were attentive and personable. We met quite a few Indie owners during our stay and all were very pleased with their investment. The grounds around the condo are very well maintained. I highly recommend this condo, and this unit particularly, as Danny was great to work with. We booked this condo on short notice. Danny mailed everything we needed immediately and answered all emails promptly. We visit Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Ft Morgan 3 to 4 times yearly and have stayed at numerous condos. This one rates high on our list. We plan to return here again. NIce trip for my husband and I. Good for families too.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family had a great time here. Very laid back part of Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores. Condo was very clean and descibed perfectly. We enjoyed being close to the ferry to Dauphin Island and Tacky Jack's 2. Awesome sunset the first night there. The pool was enjoyed by the kids and a short walk to the great beach. Very peaceful!Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.
