A short walk (2 blocks) to either the ocean beach or the children's bay beach (both with life guards). Walk to Viking Village with shopping, including coffee shop, candy store, fresh fish and produce markets. The house is a short bike ride or drive to The Barnegat Lighthouse and to Barnegat Light's Park which offers tennis, skate boarding, basketball, baseball diamond and playground equipment.
Inside enjoy wireless internet, 2 cable TVs and DVD players, stereo with IPod connection and board games. 6 beach badges and beach chairs are provided.
Barnegat Light is a quiet, family friendly community with local restaurants, ice cream parlor and shopping. It is also easily accessible to markets, mini golf and amusement parks further south on Long Beach Island.

About the owner: We have been taking our 3 boys to Barnegat Light for many years. Long Beach Island is the perfect summer family vacation for us. We love that the kids can walk or bike ride by themselves and we love the quiet, family friendly community.
Why the Owner Chose Barnegat Light:
Barnegat Light has great beaches and we love the quick walk up the street beach. We love the unobstructed view of the bay from the house or the deck. We love the quiet of the early mornings and the breathtaking sunsets at night.
