The thing that takes this review from average to good is the personal contact going in - Sharon was very professional and kind in emailing, and I was confident our stay would not be a bad one. A few unfortunate items included the non-working clothes dryer, some electrical outlets that were bad, and not that clean. But by that I don't mean the important things - sheets and towels and the kitchen, including all the dishes, were very clean, and the place smelled good, and NO spiders, at all, anywhere. :-) But the bathroom heater and floorboards weren't clean, and there were lots of cobwebs on the ceiling. Beds are VERY comfy and we would stay again for the price. Enjoyed the herd of elk that wandered through in the morning!
Owner response:A brand new stackable washer and dryer was installed. The dryer broke and had to be special ordered so it was not delivered in time for this guest's arrival. There is a shared laundry facility in Ptarmigan Village. Maintenance and housekeeping will address the other items mentioned.

For our annual Christmas ski trip this year, we decided to visit Whitefish. My family of 3 and 2 friends came in on Christmas day. When we arrived at the condo we were pleasantly surprised. The condo was everything described by the owner. We had plenty of room and the condo was perfectly located. We were not only close to town: we were just minutes away from skiing. When Sunday morning rolled around, we didn't want to leave. Since are trip, we have talked about visiting Whitefish again during summer months. The condo and Whitefish were great!!

The listing description was accurate, the property was clean and well-maintained, the owner was wonderful to work with, and I would recommend this place to a friend. We liked the complex. It seemed well-run, and it was very private and quiet. We were disappointed that there were no tennis courts available (they were getting fixed), and the outdoor pool was closed. But we did swim in the indoor pool a bunch, and enjoyed the hot tub. We saw lots of deer and enjoyed walks and bike rides around Ptarmigan. Also, the complex's (Ptarmigan) beach was just so-so. We enjoyed Whitefish Lake's City Park much more. We were a little far away from Glacier National Park (it's a good 1/2 hour to the closest park entrance), and especially from the other side of it since the pass was closed in June! We had to do 6 hours of driving to see Many Glaciers, which was my favorite part of the park, but that was entirely our fault because we booked the condo while the pass was still closed. It doesn't open until mid-July on any given year. We had fun playing a whole day at Whitefish Lake. It was beautiful and we rented kayaks from Sportsman Ski Haus in Whitefish. Whitefish is a wonderful town, and there is plenty of grocery shopping there, and then Kalispell was just 15 minutes away and had a Costco! So, the condo was well situated for convenience in that way.

My adult children and myself enjoyed our stay at condo # 29075. It was everything the owner described. The condo was roomy. ( There were 5 of us ) Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was in good working order. The condo provided plenty of bath towels,Television/ DVDs, books to read. The location was great, close to the pool and wonderful hot tub. Close to the fishing pond that we fished in. Secluded yet a short drive to Whitefish. We really enjoyed our nightly visits to the hot tub where we relaxed and visited with the other guest. If I had 1 complaint, it would be that the hot tub/ pool closed to early. 10 pm. That seemed to be the consensus of the users that were there the 3 evenings we were there. Great place, would definitely recommend to others and come back myself.

We were pleasantly surprised with the condo as it is nicer than portrayed in the pictures. It is a very comfortable, rustic retreat. The beds were very comfy and the condo was well stocked. The kids loved the indoor pool and hottub that was just a short walk down the road. The information in general was well layed out etc. directions, check-out ...Had a great time skiing. Whitefish had lots of great restaurants and shopping. We will definitely come back!

We were very happy with the condo, very quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable and relaxing after a day of excellent skiing! This was our first ski vacation away from our home in Alaska, and we had a blast. Big Mountain has some awesome boarding and it was nice riding the slopes in a different area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to coming back next year.

Great location on Big Mountain with easy access to zipline, alpine slide, Walk-in-the-Trees. Within driving distance to Glacier National Park. Nice fireplace, comfortable beds, great for 3 couples. Only wish downstairs had a stand-up shower. Great pool and hot-tub area.

The weather was awesome! Mild temps and sunshine all week. We went to Glacier National Park two times, all the way to "many glacier" which is where we saw 2 grizzlies, 2 bald eagles, 8 deer and got great pics.Sharon, thanks for sharing your beautiful and relaxing home with our family. Just love this place!

We went jet skiing on Whitefish Lake, took the road to the sun at Glacier National Park, went bowling, shopping, farmers market, relaxed and played cards. Recommend Glacier National Park...it is awesome! The scenery is beautiful. We saw a baby bear cub and sheep. Thank you Sharon. your home was great and in a perfect location.

Great place to stay for us (2 adults and 2 13 year olds). It is laid out nicely and very clean. Very comfortable sleeping and nice kitchen. We enjoyed an afternoon on the mountain and walking around downtown in the evening. We also trecked out to Glacier National Park two days - The most beautiful place and sights I've ever seen. We hated leaving - would definately come back.

We had a wonderfully comfortable time at this condo. Like a home away from home - it was very cozy and had all the amenities we were looking for. The new indoor pool and hot tub is a great addition to the village. We will definitely be coming back!

I wanted you to know know what a wonderful time we are having! It is always so good to return to Montana but this has been the best! We have already enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, the trails, and we just returned from a wonderful day at Big Mountain! We did the alpine slide and zip line and had a great dinner. My friend joined us one evening and she lives in Whitefish and she loved it too. Thanks again for sharing this wonderful place with us. We truly appreciate it!

we had a fantastic time. The condo was wonderful, very clean, large enough and great to sit on the deck and drink coffee in the morning or anytime of the day or evening. The squirrels were very entertaining. It was very quiet and relaxing. My son really liked the jacuzzi tub. It was 5 minutes to Whitefish Lake and 5 minutes to the mountain. The owner was fantastic we only called a week before our holiday's and we were able to be there. You are close to everything from this property and the mountain road is being repaved and will be wonderful when it is all done. We had everything we needed all we had to bring was food. Everything worked fantastic and the people in the office were great. the things they have to do at Ptarmigan are good, but we were mainly at the lake or doing some great shopping. We even went to the drive-in a real treat for the kids. We would defiantly stay again. Thanks for a great time!!!

Staying in this condo surrounded by trees and deer and snow falling gave me a sense of peace I needed away from my busy city life. I felt a million miles away and didn't want to leave the fireplace. It's a beautiful condo and a beautiful setting. Can't wait to go back! I love Montana!

Our family really enjoyed our 10 nites in your lovely and comfortable rental. We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals and yours was one of nicest. The grounds were great for the kids and we saw deer every day we were there. We were glad we decided to stay near Whitefish since there was great food and plenty to do when we weren't exploring Glacier Natl Park.
