  We have stayed in this chalet for three straight years - every time the place has been immaculate!!! Plus the highlight of our trip, we have seen bears on two of the three times we have stayed. We look forward to our stay each and every year. I would highly recommend this chalet - it is the perfect location - close to town, but you feel like you are in your own little world because of the seclusion. My little girl especially enjoys the hot tub and running up and down the stairs!!!!!

  The location was perfectly located back off the road with a nice distance between the other chalets. The view was beautiful and the chalet was spotless and very cozy. Everything was nicely organized. We would stay at this chalet again and look forward to doing so. We had an awesome time!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Owner response: I am glad people have a good time at our chalet. We provide all the movie channels Charter Communications offers and a DVR to record their favorite shows and movies. Our jacuzzi in each bedroom does not have a timer, so you can soak as long as you wish. The hot tub is almost new and is drained and cleaned after each quest checks out.

  Upon arrival we found the hot tub FILTHY. Rest of the house was in fair condition. I emailed the owner immediately - no response. Called the owner the next day. All he said was "really". Did not have it cleaned for our stay. Left a computer charger. Cannot get the owner to respond to send it back COD. There are so many rentals with owners who care and keep the rentals clean. Don't walk, run from this one.

  Owner response: The hotubs are drained and cleaned after every quest visit. I did apolize that she was not satisfied with the hot tub. We have quest that had checked in before she emailed me about the charger. When these quest checkout we will see if we can finder the charger and send it to them.

  Our stay at Angel's View was wonderful. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. We found your house so roomy and comfortable and everything was as promised. We enjoyed your hottub on the deck in the snow!! It snowed 3 days of our "Spring" vacation. We were afraid we would be stuck at the house all those days as there was NO way we would have taken that road in snow....even with 4wd. However, we lucked out and the snow did not stick to the roads....just everything else. We also need to comment on your awesome driveway. After looking around at the rentals around us we absolutely noticed how perfect your driveway is....nice and flat with lots of room. Beds were very comfortable, house was very clean, there were plenty of towels and all we needed to work with was provided in the kitchen. The view was fantastic when the skies cleared! The location of your house was perfect and seemed half way between all the things we wanted to do.....close to Gatlinburg down one side and close to GSMNP down the other! Also close to a trolley stop! We did not see any bears....I kept constant watch...I even checked when I got up during the night. I guess the snow kept them asleep a little longer. We will definately be coming to visit again!! Thank you so much!!

  I travel frequently both in/out of the country. The voluminous windows throughout this property provides an abundance of light giving an airy, bright, open feeling. The chalet is tastefully decorated with color scheme & furnishings. Kitchen appliances are modern & ample kitchen tools/utensils supplied. Everything is labeled, which I really liked. Sometimes you have to spend time trying to figure out where things are at or how to turn on lights, etc. One of the nicest features about this rental is the privacy "within" the chalet, despite having other chalets nearby. The two master suites are on different floors and opposite sides of the chalet, both with their own jacuzzi & decks. This provides a great deal of privacy and space. While I can't speak for a view when the trees are full as this was a spring visit, the view was good for spring with bare trees. The back deck expands across the rear is spacious to accommodate hot tub, outdoor dining table/chairs, grill, & other chairs/small end tables. The location near Ski Mtn removes one from the hussle & carnival atmosphere of Gatlingburg, placing you within close proximity to the park. The rental process in and of itself was easy, owner available & quickly responded to inquiries. 'Having stayed at three other properties at various locations near the park, I would rent this chalet again & encourage others to do so!

  We had a great stay at Angels View. Your place is lovely, everything as advertised. We were greeted by bears shortly after our arrival. We saw a juvenile, then a little later a Momma bear and her 2 cubs stayed and played in the yard for about 30 minutes.

  Great place to stay. Chalet was lovely and well equiped for a week stay. GPS is a good idea to use which will take you directly to the property especially at night. The interior was clean and very well taken care of by the owners and property management. Our first morning sitting on the deck we were visited by a bear who stayed at the foot of the deck for several minutes...awsome to see !! Got several good pictures. The leaves in the area had lots of color and were beautful as well as the weather being almost perfect during our stay. Would definitely try to stay at this Chalet again when we go back to Gatlinburg. I have already recommended this property to friends of mine.

  We stayed for 2 weeks and this was the best vacation ever. We come to the Smoky Mtns twice a year for a total of 4 weeks. We love the Smoky Mountains. Best fall colors we have seen. The cabin was perfect, nice location and views. Desk and hot tub were perfect after a long day hiking. Bears came up most evenings to eat the acorns off the driveway. The Milky Way was visible off the back deck and came out nicely with a long exposure on the camera. Saw numerous shooting stars.

  What a nice place! Our stay at "Angel's View" was great! This place was the best of both worlds: it was removed from the hustle bustle of Gatlinburg and had ALL the luxuries of home! It was emperitive that where we stayed had WiFi to stay connected to work and uploading school work. This WiFi was not your grandma's wireless, it was a smokin' 10Mbps up!! We enjoyed the large kitchen, King size beds and nice leather couches! The spa on the deck was nice at night! We did not see any black bears, but that was okay maybe the next time! The Woods have done a nice job on making this chalet comfortable and pleasant to stay in. Friends, if you are searching through the list of places to stay at, stop here and book it! For what you pay for a motel on the strip (one room, one bath and noisy neighbors and traffic), for the same money you can have a whole home, plenty of room, peaceful and quiet! I am glad we did! Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Woods!
