  We loved this cabin. The decor made you feel right at home. Our son and his family live in the area and he too was impressed with the cabin. The whole family enjoyed fishing from the dock and while we didn't catch much, we had a great time! Brenda was very helpful, and we would highly recommend this wonderful vacation spot!

  Our weeklong vacation was a lot of fun! The lake was beautiful and it was a perfect area for watersports. The water is so smooth on a nice day. We enjoyed fishing off the dock… the teenagers especially enjoyed this. The house was very nice and roomy for all of us. It was very clean and the pictures are accurate, but more beautiful in person. The kitchen was perfect, we had all the items we needed to cook for a week. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the back porch facing the lake, it was very picturesque. Brenda was also helpful in telling us about the area. Overall, our vacation was very enjoyable!

• Mothers Day weekend

  My sister and I rented this house for our Mothers Birthday/Mothers Day , we needed a large enough house for the whole family and this was the perfect place with plenty of room. Mama's kids and grandkids all came down Friday night, some stayed some didn't but was room for all. Loved the large kitchen and living room. The deck was roomy and had a great view of the lake. Rode our golf cart to close by restaurant that has great food, but did a lot of our own cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Thanks to the owner for making our stay wonderful, we will stay again!

  Brenda The second year was as good as the first. From my wife, sons, parents, and myself thank you very much. We had a great time. The folks that live in the cove are super nice and helpful. Lisa and Dave at the small store by the Buffalo Creek Grill are great as well. We had Catfish for dinner one night that was caught right off the dock. Hope to visit again next year. Dave & Chris

  Cabin On Lake Murray was and is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will be staying there again asap. It is in a quite cove just close enough to everything. AND IF YOU SLICK WATER......look no further! Just around the bend is a great cove to do whatever you want. Would recomend it for sure!!!!

  Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay here, just wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful house and the lake. We stayed at the house and attended the Masters, it was a bit of a drive but still a really nice place to relax and enjoy. The house had everything you could imagine. While not at the Masters we also played Timberlake golf course nearby, a nice course with lots of character. Overall a really great place, hopefully we will have more time to enjoy the next time around. Thanks for everything.

• Very relaxing and "home" feel

  My family and family friends stayed here for 4 nights and had an awesome time just sitting around doing nothing!! We all felt as if we were "home"! Its quiet and beautiful!! The pictures do not do it justice!! The dock is nice to sit and look over the lake - even when the fish aren't biting!! The waves from the boats make it relaxing!! The owner is wonderful and friendly - we will be renting again!!!

  What a vacation! This beautiful Log Cabin was the perfect place for me and my family to enjoy our 10 day Thanksgiving vacation at the lake. We enjoyed the shopping...just 35-40 minutes away in Columbia, while the men fished...fished...and yes, fished! We loved our visit so much that we just went back for New Years. Again, it was awesome. The neighbors are awesome, as well. Thanks Brenda for letting us use your home and letting us bring our pets. We will be back!

  We had a wonderful time at the cabin and the view was to die for. The cabin was equipped with all the essentials and it was roomy and warm. We will definately return.

  we rented this cabin because my kids and grandkids live in fla. they all met here. my grandkids are 7, 4, and 2. i don't really see too much of them. maybe twice a year as i live in new york state. everyone drove in and had no problems. my sister in law and brotherin law also arrived safely. they are camping in columbia sc. till nov and then they are off to fla for the winter. lucky them. the kids had a blast and were outside constantly. there was plenty of room to play. my grandson age 7 caught 4 fish.. the weather was perfect and is was really quiet and relaxing. i would recommend this for anyone that is interested in staying in awesome place. the place was neat and clean.the owner was very helpful and friendly.we loved the little restaurant that was in walking distance. there is also a little store nearby you can walk to.
