  We've just returned from a great stay in the Tiki Home. The house is perfect for a vacation rental at Hanalei. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within a short walk or bike ride to Pinetree's or into town. There are several cruiser bikes that were a great addition and we used them a lot. The upstairs living space is huge and comfortable. The large TV, Apple TV, the computer, the high speed Internet and the games were all very appreciated. The kitchen has all of cooking supplies you could need to cook a gourmet meal or bake. We really enjoyed making meals in the house. The downstairs Master Bedroom is also huge and very comfortable with a large bathroom. My wife and I would read in the chairs every night. And it has a great view of the backyard. The other three bedrooms were perfect for the four teenagers we had with us. They are on the other side of the house so we had a little separation too! It was also great having new washer & dryer. I also must say that the house was very clean and all of the appliances were new or in great condition. We have a few friends in Hanalei who all remarked what a great house it was...spacious, clean and comfortable. I think the pictures of the house on this site really tell you exactly what the house is like.

  Excellent rental house! Incredible open floor plan that made us feel all together as a group without feeling like we were under each others feet. Very clean and well kept. You can tell that the owners use this property as well, not just own it as a rental. Greg was amazing in his responsiveness and kindness. The blender didn't work while we were there and he ordered a new one and had it delivered the following day. The location is fantastic! A quick walk to the beach, the town, and near so many fantastic sites. Wonderful place to rent. We are hoping we can come back again. I highly recommend it.

  The Tiki Home is possibly the best vacation home I've ever stayed in. We traveled with two other couples, and also had our 10 month old baby. The best part was that even when were stuck at home because of the baby, it still felt like being on vacation. The location is the perfect distance between the beach and town. I was prepared for the Tiki Home to be not quite as awesome as the advertisement, but I'd say it was bigger, nicer, and better equipped than I had hoped/imagined. Despite having a very short time to clean before our arrival, the place was spotless. Some highlights: A great supply of beach accessories (boogie board, etc.) Several bikes Secluded outdoor shower! Excellent computer with WiFi Awesome gas grill for cooking seafood from the market We plan to return!

  Owner response: Thanks for the great review! We normally don't advertise the beach toys, boogie boards, and bikes because we really can't guarantee if they are working or still at the home when you get there. Guests leave beach toys all the time, so we now have a nice collection... but at the same time they also loose them, or break them just as easily. So the answer is yes we do have some bikes in the back yard, and a "kids closet" full of sand toys, and other beach stuff. However there is no guarantee what is there or working when you get to the home. Note: We recently added a basic high chair and pack-n-play crib to the kids closet as well. There are several surf shops in town to rent surfboards, boogie boards and stand-ups. You can also rent them at the Pier and walk directly to the water from there. Mahalo, Greg

  My family of 4, along with our friends and their baby, stayed at the Tiki House for 2 amazing, relaxing weeks. It was the perfect house for 2 families to share because it is so large! You can escape to a corner if you want to read and have some alone time. And the bedrooms are very private and quiet. We had fun making meals in the large kitchen and were amazed at how well stocked it is!! Everything you need is there. There are plenty of towels for the bathrooms and for the beach. Really, it has everything you could possibly need for your stay! The location is perfect. We loved walking a block to the farmers market, every Saturday morning, for amazing fresh juice and beautiful produce. We rode the cruiser bikes to town every day or walked the 10 minute walk to town. We rode bikes to our favorite beach (Grandpa's off of Anae), which is only 5 minutes by bike. You can get to everything you need, within 5-10 minutes. The street is very quiet and safe. We never saw nor heard the neighbors. It felt very private. The house is super clean and obviously well taken care of. I highly recommend the Tiki House!!

  My family and I rented the Tiki Home for nearly three weeks and found it to be very comfortable. The website floorplans, descriptions, and website photos were so plentiful and of such high quality that we knew exactly what to expect. What we did not expect was how spacious the upstairs living area really is -it is HUGE! So much room for my family and even another. Another pleasant surprise was all of the utensils, pots, pans, towels, and consummables like paper towels, ziploc bags, etc. With so many conveniences, we were able to truly relax and enjoy the home. Also, the owner, Greg, was very responsive and courteous. The location is outstanding, about equi-distant to the beach and Hanalei town, with all of its great restaurants, grocery, and shops. I have been vacationing in Hanalei since 1997 and found this house to be a tremendous value for the location. I would highly recommend the house to anyone considering a trip to Kauai.

  This is a great property located just blocks from restaurants and shopping in Hanalei, Kauai. The house is large with all bedrooms downstairs and one huge open room upstairs with living, dining & kitchen. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and includes two refrigerators and a wine fridge too. As in other houses here, there is no air conditioning, but the nine ceiling fans upstairs keep the upstairs room relatively cool except during midday. The downstairs is usually cooler. With all windows open it's like being in a treehouse. There's a deck off the upstairs living area equipped with a nice gas grill. There's also a big screen tv w/ satellite, dvd and wireless internet. This is the only rental property located on the cul de sac and the street is very quiet. Tenants are asked to keep the noise level down in order not to disturb the neighbors.

  Hanalei is our favorite place to vacation in the world and the Tiki Home is the best experience in town. Great location. Relaxed but very well outfitted with good kitchen, great technology for a vacation home, comfortable beds (rare in rental homes) and even a massage table. Best part is big, beautiful great room. Also on a very quiet side street and feels very private despite nearby neighborhoods. Fun as a romantic getaway for a couple like us or for a big family or group of friends. If you can't be on the beach, this is definitely the place! We dig it!

  I take my vacations really seriously. This house in Hanalei provided a really great vacation experience. It is really open with a lot of space to relax and read with tons of windows surrounded by amazing tropical trees. The kitchen is ideal for cooking all the amazing stuff I got from the farmer's market across the street. There is a barbecue to cook the fresh fish we got from the market in Hanalei. It is a quick walk to the beach and to hang out in town and enjoy the Hanalei community. And the outdoor shower is awesome for when you get back from the beach.

  I rented the Tiki House for a company off-site and family event. The Tiki House was the most memorable experience for my staff and family. We will be going back for years to come. You can't get a better place on the island with all the amenities, beach and town so close by. The owners have made sure that everything you would ever need is available for an enjoyable stay. They've provided everything from a complete gourmet kitchen to Wi-Fi for your convenience. The Tiki House also has some fantastic character. The pictures don't do it justice. There interior is very unique and provides a lot space for relaxing after a day at the beach. After renting over 5 homes in Hanalei Bay, I would have to say that the Tiki House is top on my list!

  The upstairs is the best part of this house. We also liked the close proximity to both the beach and downtown. We would stay here again for sure.
