The Dahncke family has rented our house for two years in a row and have signed a lease to rent our house again this summer. They have young children and enjoy our large fenced-in yard and the convenience of having a baby nursery, high chair and other baby equipment at the house for their use.Did you find this review helpful? The Turner family has rented our house two years in a row. They are an older couple that travel with their dog, America. They love Nantucket and enjoy the proximity of our house to downtown, our private patio, and comfortable home. The Turners have signed a lease to stay in our house again this summer, and we welcome them back, as always!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: I am the fifth generation of my family to own a vacation home in Nantucket. My mother's great-grandparents first visited the island in 1910 and my great-grandfather purchased a family summer house in 1924. I grew up coming to Nantucket in the summers, and am happy to be able to continue this legacy for my children. We enjoy sharing the house with others who love Nantucket as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Nantucket Town:
We purchased this house as a vacation home for our family because of its rich history, proximity to the center of town, large private yard and comfortable interior space. It is the perfect mix of privacy, convenience, historic charm and modern amenities.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our house is located within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, historic sites, and the ferry docks. It is one block from the Madaket Bike Path and is a short bike ride to nearby beaches.
