With the openness of the home, two balconies, and large front deck there is plenty of space for your whole group to spend time with each other indoors and out. Where ever you spend your time you'll breath in the fresh ocean air and enjoy the amazing views.
Hollywood beach is one of the most beautiful, undisturbed, private, sandy beaches in all of California where you can walk the shoreline for miles and miles. This beautiful beach has it all whether you like to sunbath, swim in the ocean, boogie board, surf, skin board, walk and collect shells. It also has a quiet bay for those who prefer to swim with no waves. It is located minutes from Channel Islands Harbor. Just walk a few blocks from the house and you will find shops, restaurants and all kinds of fun activities. There are boat rentals, jet ski, kayaks, sport fishing and more. If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime take a day trip to one of the Channel Islands where you will find one of the top ten snorkeling and diving spots in the world.
Our home is perfect for a family getaway or a multi-family vacation. Bedrooms include newly remolded master suite with king size bed and bathroom with double sinks. The second bedroom has one queen size bed. The third bedroom with one full size bed. The fourth bedroom contains two bunk beds with three twin size beds and one full size. There is a pack & play crib for infants. The second remolded bathroom has a tub/shower. The third bathroom has a shower and is attached to the laundry room. The entire home was recently repainted and has new carpet.
On the first floor there is a small one bedroom, one bath apartment with it's own private entrance. The apartment is rented year round at this time.
Hollywood Beach is located 60 minutes north of LA and 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. Our home is located directly on the sand of Hollywood Beach and three short blocks from Channel Islands Harbor where you'll find waterfront eating, shopping and do not miss the fantastic Sunday Farmer's Market. Our favorite harbor walk is Monday-Friday Happy Hour!

Our combined family of childen and grandchildren just stayed in this very comfortable home. The owners went above and beyond their responsibility to renters. They provided pac n plays for the babies, high chairs and fresh flowers in the master bathroom. We were advised of a discount whale watching trip. Any questions were addressed immediately. The property was very clean and matched the photos. and description accurately. We would not hesitate to recommend this vacation home. The location on the beach made it perfect for swimming and surfing. Big Daddy's BarBQue was a favorite of everyone. Our family wants to return next year and visit the gracious, caring owners when we arrive.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I stayed here for 5 days during my birthday week.I love the house and location but I did not like the things I were not informed of. I was never informed that the caretaker of the house lived next door and was going to be watching our every move. I was never informed that there was a curfew. I am 34 years old on vacation at the beach.I shouldn't be told that I had to go to bed now...I am not some teenager nor am I a college student partying (nothing wrong with that but just would need a better location)...I have family visiting me because I am from out of town and as they state "there is plenty of room for family inside and outside the house"....I also was not informed that the downstairs unit was being rented to someone so the bottom level is occupied...basically we are sharing a house with someone...I also had about 3 or 4 different people just walk right into our rental like nothing. At one time we had the lady next door who takes care of the house walk in and tell my family that I need to go to bed....she didn't even knock...I was right outside at the firepit...making use of it with 2 of my sisters enjoying the night view of the sky and beach...I had a little girl walk in and play with my nieces and nephews(I love kids but I didn't know her and if I were her mom I would be wondering where she was. I also had the plumber walk right on up to the hallway bathroom and proceed to fix it...but then I told him that it was the downstairs bathroom in the laundry room that didn't work (2 and a half days later he comes to fix it)...their is a small part downstairs when you walk in that has a laundry room and bathroom but we hardly got to use it because it was broken...Also my kids were playing around the volleyball court sand area and they hit the net playing tag or something and the lady came out to scream at them (the net looked like it was from back in the pirate days...it wasn't gonna get any worse than it was and besides I paid a deposit for things that happen...it would have taken about 10 or 20 to replace.I would have covered it.but when the neighbors were playing on it and pushing and pulling the net...no one came out to yell at them.I felt like we were being watched all day and night...this was supposed to be a vacation and a family friendly one.It does not state that you cannot have family or be to quiet at all times or that you would have unexpected guest...I have rented houses before and never had this problem..this was the worst yet!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
