We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Tiggers Vacation Home. The listing was accurate and the property clean and well maintained. The owners and property manager were very helpful. We did experience palmetto bugs in one bedroom and bathroom, the experience of which really upset one of our family members but other than that, all was well.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

Owner response: Our manager was not informed or he would have dealt with it promptly for them. In the tropical climate in Florida our pest control is current, always, but can never be 100% in any home Sorry NO PETS

We had the good fortune to meet Barbara and Bill over the Internet when we where looking for a villa to stay in for Christmas. Bill and Barbara are fantastic hosts and there was nothing that we asked that was too much trouble. They took the time to explain everything and made our trip very special. The villa itself was absolutely stunning. Well kept, well placed and comfortable. We also felt safe and secure with the availability of the the security systems that have been put in place. The community itself is very well kept and handy for the local supermarket and restaurants. Disney is literally only minutes away so ideal for the parks. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. We have been renting villas in Florida for over 17 years and Tiggers is by far the best we have stayed in. This is aided of course by the courtesy and grace of our hosts Barbara and Bill. Do yourself a favour. If your thinking of staying in Florida check the availability of Tiggers first. A lovely place, well maintained and well positioned for the Parks. This was our first time at Highlands Reserve and found the location to be ideally located. Barbara annd Bill were superb throughout the Booking process. We had a small issue with the pool but we were notified of this before we left and kept informed until it was resolved. We stayed here for 2 weeks in September 2012 and had a wonderful stay. The villa is in a great position in a lovely community and had everything we needed. It was very big for the 3 of us, but we loved the space. My 4 year old loved the Mickey Mouse bedroom and the pushchair at the villa was a godsend for him! It was great to have our own pool and everything in the house was in great condition. I don't know what we would have done without the washer and dryer either! Being so close to Publix was great too as we could pop in on our way home and I took a walk over there early one morning too. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this villa and would certainly stay there again in future.

Just spent a fantastic week at Tiggers villa. It really feels like it is a home from home. Owners are great and cannot do enough for you, villa has all that a family would want. As you walk in it struck us how neat and tidy it was, decorated to a high standard and all mod cons within it. Kids loved pool and games room whilst large cable TV was also a godsend. Highlands Reserve is ideally situated, just far enough away from the parks, c 15mins drive, but close to supermarkets (publix next door!, Walmart 5 min drive). Whole complex is neat and looks like excellent golf course. The highest complement I can give to any villa is that we have just rebooked for next year, the first time we have ever done this. Would highly recommend to all

Our 2nd stay at this lovely villa and it wont be our last. Great location within walking distance of Publix supermarket & Applebees restaurant. Great layout in villa, comfortable and nothing missed. Like a home from home, but with a clean pool and warmer & sunnier weather! Owners are the most helpful and accommodating we have come across in our many trips to Florida.

We have rented this villa for 2 seasons. It is very comfortable and have always found it clean. It is close to all of the attractions. We enjoy entertaining our friends on the Lanii and sitting under the canopy. It is a quiet neighborhood. We are again booked to spend our winter vacation at this villa. For that time it becomes "our winter home".

My wife and I have stayed at the Scott's villa a couple times now while visiting the Orlando area. The place is always maintained very well and it is perfect place for a no surprises vacation stay. The villa has a well equipped kitchen, living room and also has a fantastic game room The neighborhood which the villa is located is nice and you are within walking distance of a grocery store as well as restaurants and entertainment. It is a quick commute to all of the theme parks but just far enough away that you get some peace and quiet as well. This is easily the first place we look to rent when visiting Orlando!

adypem 9 Aug 11, 12:54 PM We stayed in Bill & Barbara's lovely villa this summer - our first ever villa holiday. The reassurance and helpfulness from Barbara was fantastic - be it email or phone. A silly question from me was always answered. The villa itself is was everything we could have asked for - exactly as per the pics and more. The layout of the villa was perfect for our needs and there was plenty of room. The master room has loads of hanging space, drawers and a big en suite. The 2 twin rooms were perfect for older children 14/15 and great for our 8 year old who loved the Disney soft toys :-) The kitchen had everything we needed from patio cups to wine glasses. The villa was 2 mins away from a publix supermarket where we spent a good bit of time on the way in an out of the villa. The location is perfect for Disney and universal. For Disney its a quick drive up the 27 and onto the 192. For universal you can drop onto the I4 via champions gate. Thank you Bill & Barbara for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

We arrived at the villa armed with only the booking and website pictures and we were not disappointed. We wouldn't have asked for anything more. The villa was spacious for our party of 7 and it was equipped with everything we needed and then some. What was pleasing was knowing that the owner/management company were only a phone call away if anything cropped up. The bathrooms were spacious and well equipped with new towels, the pool area was lovely and all our party enjoyed it. We would definitely return

blown away by villa bigger than expected a real home from home.area quite and relaxing just what was needed after visitig parks.shops ideal less than a mile had everything you could want.access to disney brilliant only 10 mins away.eating places the same to much to choose from.villa was spotless a credit to the owners. as for the owners 5 star rating nothing is too much trouble an abundance of local knowledge which helps during the stay.i have no hesitation in recommending the villa to anyone but i am very reluctant.because i dont want to miss out booking for next year i am definightly returning next year because bill and barbara are the perfect hosts.

Just returned from 2 weeks in this beautiful villa. The website doesnt do it justice. The living rooms, kitchen, bedrooms & gamesroom were all well furnished and immaculate. Bathrooms had hairdryers & straightners. The pool was private and a lovely start & end to the day. Location was perfect for Disney & Universal parks. Going north on highway 27 made it easy to access route 192 through to International Drive. Local amenities were superb with an Applebees grill bar in walking distance, plus Publix supermarket had everything required if you wanted to eat at the villa.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The residence with its neighbourhood was excellent in any way and we had a very wonderful stay. Before we went til Orlando, we printet out pictures from the internett. This pictures didn`t give the right impression of the property. Tiggers Villa was much more beautiful then the pictures could tell :) Concerning how clean the property was, I would like to tell that it wasn`t clean under the beds. Doing my crosswords I lost my pencil, it went under the bed. There was rubbish from other guests and dust under the beds, but this didn`t affect out stay. We will recommend Tiggers Villa with all of its nearby activities, attractions and restaurants to friends of all ages. It`s a perfect main point for a wonderful vacation.

Bill & Barbara: Your place is AMAZING !!!!!!! I know why you are so passionate about your home…. It is sooooooooo nice…. You could easily have TWO Master bedrooms. Your living facilities are GREAT. Distance from the park is very reasonable!! As mother of 4yr old TWINS; we were NEVER worried about the pool or ANYTHING..WE will definatly be back !! I will recommend your place to EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely villa,quiet location" The contact with the owners is very good,lots of information given and quick responses to any emails.The pre-arrival information is also of a high standard. The house is well described in the website and is exactly what you see,very clean and very well equipped. The pool is lovely as is the games room. The house is very spacious,would easily suit two families. The location is quiet and is not overlooked,its about 20 minutes from disney,and has a supermarket and resturant within walking distance. we had a lovely holiday and would recommend the villa.

Excellent value and location" Myself and my wife stayed here on our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. The house was clean and well maintained...plenty of room and everything you would need!!!! The owners kept in contact with us and were great to deal with, this extended to the management company who were there for our every need and also very pleasant. The location of the property is really good and having been Florida 7 times before this was definitely a great location to be. Very close to Disney and easy access to the major road to everything else. It was really was a great trip and we loved staying at the house......worse thing....the weather was cooooold...but nothing the home owners could do about that!! :)

"Excellent Villa, Great Location" Firstly, the communication with the villa owner was excellent. Very friendly phone conversations and all the information you could ever need. The villa itself was fantastic. Beautifully presented throughout, all the amenities you required for any length of stay. The beds were also very comfortable (....we have stayed in villas where they aren't and does detract from the holiday a little :-)). The location was brilliant. For the first time in 10 visits to Orlando, we were within a 10 minute walk from a Restaurant and Bar...Appleby's. We had some nice food and sat around the bar having a couple of drinks and talking to the locals. Also, you were only 10-15 mins from Disney - brilliant. You could visit the parks during the day, come back to the villa, relax, get changed and go to a restaurant at night and it didn't feel like you were driving all the time. We liked everything about the villa and disliked nothing. Next time we go this will be the villa we stay in (as long as it's available :-) We have no difficulty in recommending this villa

"Thanksgiving Holiday at Tiggers Villa" Barbara and Bill were wonderful to work with while planning and staying at their villa. The home is nicely appointed and is in an excellent location. Proximity to the parks and shopping are just right and the villa is in a great quiet community for when you return from your days adventures. I can easily recommend staying at this location.

Fantastic Orlando Holiday!!" We stayed at Tiggers Villa in July 2009 and had a fantastic time. The villa is beautiful and decorated to a high standard. Everything you would need for a great stay is there, the master bedroom especially was amazing. The pool area was great with the sun on the whole decking all day, also a lovely outlook on to the conservation area. Our two boys loved the games room, what more could they want!! Bill and Barbara were so helpful before and after the holiday and nothing was too much, they are a lovely couple. The villa is situated very conveniently for Disney and also close to nearby shops. I would highly recommend Tiggers Villa to anyone wishing to stay in Orlando. We certainly will be back in the future.

Tiggers Villa holiday" We went for a fortnight at the end of June 2009. From arrival to leaving we had a great time, with a beautifully spec'd villa as a base, ideal for what we wanted to do. The location is great, within easy reach of all the main Orlando holiday sites but very secluded with no passing traffic and open to the back, enabling us to have a really relaxing holiday. I'd thoroughly recommend it as a base for a Florida holiday.

Scott's home is lovely & very spacious. All appliances are in good condition. Lots of pots & pans. Close to Publix grocery store. You can walk there. Close to walk in clinic (which we used). Nice pool.

My family and I had the privilege of staying in Barbara and Bill Scott's Villa at Highlands Reserve, Davenport in April of this year. Our holiday was to have been for 14 days, commencing on the 3rd April but because of the Volcanic action in Iceland we had an extended stay of a further 12 days. We were very fortunate in that we were staying in Tigger villa which had everything anyone could wish for. A tastefully decorated villa with top rate facilities which included both full air conditioning and a pool. The villa is ideally situated being only about 30 min max from Disney resorts (dependent upon traffic) as well as having an easy access to local supermarkets we could not wish for more. One of the things we all enjoyed was coming home from a day out at one of the Theme parks and being able to relax in our own pool which my grand-daughters state was the 'best' I must make a special mention of the support and assistance given us by Barbara and Bill and Helen (the lady who manages the villa on their behalf) during our enforced extra stay. Barbara kept in touch from the UK on almost a daily basis and was able to furnish us with information which was not being given by US authorities. We could not have asked for more support and it was both a pleasure and a privilege to share Barbara's home because that is what Tigger Villa is - Barbara and Bill's home.
