  My husgand and 2 children spent 2 wonderful weeks at this condo in February. We had never been to Kihei before, and it was the perfect location. The condo had everything we needed, the view was great and the location to everything fantastic. The kids loved the pool, and the 4 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Kihei. Roberta is a lovely host and was there to help us with anything we needed. I highly recommned this condo as a vacation rental for anyone travelling to Maui.

  Our stay starting on May 13th was just fabulous! The condo was wonderfull located just across the street from beach. We particularly liked the privacy of the loft area. The unit was clean, well furnished, and convenient.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  the condo was out dated and in nedd of repair

  Owner response: This guest turned out to be the most difficult guest we have ever had. According to staff at Kamaole Sands resort not only was she unhappy with our condo, but was full of complaints about the one she selected to replace ours because she claimed that ours was not satisfactory. . In my experience some people are not happy no matter what the situation.

  We spent two weeks in this adorable, clean and well furnished condo. The grounds and pools were fantastic and just a short walk to the beach. All was very well appointed with Wi-Fi and cable and a wonderful morning breakfast overlook lanai. One of our best vacations ever with plenty of room for all four of us. I would recommend this to anyone in my family. I can hardly wait to book this again for next year.

  This place was great. The condos were right across the street from the beach and a nice walk to many stores and restaurants. It was in good shape and the owners were in contact with questions. The master bedroom is a beautiful loft space atop a spiral staircase. All you need for your Maui vacation.

  My husband and I enjoyed two weeks with another couple in this condo in the Kamaole Sands Complex. We found the unit very comfortable and attractively decorated. The unit was easy to share with another couple with two spacious bedrooms and separate baths. We spent many a pleasant evening outside on the deck enjoying the sunset and ocean view. It was only a short walk to the lovely pool complex and to one of our favorite beaches on the Island. I highly recommend this condo as a vacation rental.

  kamaole sands is a great place to stay, and this is a great unit in this complex. we really like the 2 level floorplan, and this unit is well located. it is near enough to the pool to be convenient, but not so near as to be noisy. the unit was accurately represented in the listing, and the owners were easy to work with. we will definitely be staying there again if we get the chance.

  I previously submitted a "less than gleaming" review on my stay from 10/4 thru 10/10/10, and feel I should edit it. Our stay was very fun-filled, the pictures shown on the website matched what we saw upon entering the condo, and overall it was great. Its a very comfortable home all the way around, and our mental health was very refreshed when we headed back home after our stay. I was very disappointed in some features of the condo and the owner (Roberta) was VERY quick to contact me about all the inadequacies that she had previously been unaware of. That is a big Plus. Anyone staying there will love the quiet surroundings, closeness to the beach, comfort of the beds etc., central location to many things, and I do recommend this condo for those reasons. The things that were a problem for my stay have been or are being rectified for future visitors which will only enhance the quality of your stay. I have spoken to the owner since my return who is really a very gracious lady and you likely will not be disappointed should you decide to stay in this condo. I intend to return there next year and hope anyone reading this contacts them for availability. Maui was a great experience and my first trip to any Hawaiian island.

  Exhaust fan in main floor bath didn't work, sugar ants were having a parade on the counter top, sink, cabinets beneath sink(which the hinges were falling off) stove so you didn't dare leave food sitting long, ONE bath towel each (3) provided for the week, jealousy windows (top half) don't work, free standing oscillating fan didn't work, and there wasn't ANYTHING in the line of supplies (1 roll of single ply generic toilet tissue) so we were prompt to report these issues to the owner. It appeared to not have been recently cleaned or readied for our arrival and although it is a beautiful condo in a great location with a nice view, we were all pretty disappointed at having to buy every single thing we'd need for seasonings, etc. My daughter rented an identical condo a few doors away for less money & stocked withy more stuff than she'd ever need or use for less money with no cleaning fee. There were no instructions on how to get more bath towels, if possible. The owner promptly had the bathroom exhaust fan fixed, the hinges are "on order", but the ants vacationed the entire time with us. We had a great time as tourists on our first visit to Maui, and the condo is as lovely as pictured with comfortable beds/couches/chairs, but if you stay there bring every single thing you need to eat/cook in the line of food because you can't even find a box of baggies, toilet paper is not plush at all, and you'll need sponges or scrubbers for your dishes along with dish soap (though there is dishwasher soap). Our second day there we grocery shopped, and on arrival home the elevator was broken so we had to carry all bags up 4 flights.

  Owner response: I have spoken with Pat and she has now posted another review based on our conversation. This was her first time in Maui and being unfamiliar with the tropics and the fact that ants are often a fact of living here she was uncomfortable with them. She also has never rented a condo in Maui before so is unfamiliar with at least some of the more common practices of condo managers. I am resolving her other concerns and we left on a very positive note. She wrote the review in a moment of upset and wished she could retract it, but her only recourse was to write another review.

  Thjanks for making us feel like we are in a home away from home. We enjoyed are stay tremendously. This condo has everything we needed and more. Kamaole Sands is a well maintained complex. It is only a short walk to a nice beach, and shopping is within couple of blocks. What a wonderful vacation. We will certainly be back and hope there is space in your condo when we want to book.
