Our second visit to your Homestead Cabin and Yellowstone was just as memorable as the first. It felt like yesterday being here, whereas it's been 2 years ago already! The quiet, cozy cabin and the beautiful surroundings felt like an extension of the national park. Thanks again for your hospitality and the use of the incredible cabin. If we ever make it a third time, we definitely know where to find you!

Thank you for providing such a wonderful cozy cabin, we loved everything about it. It was so nice to come back to after a hike or a soak. It was especially nice to be in the cabin as thunderstorms moved through, so cozy and romantic. We really enjoyed talking with you, you are an amazing woman with an amazing story. Thank you for everything, we can't wait to come back. Best Wishes.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin. It was truly a wonderful experience for all of us. You have taken such good care of this cabin and the detail you put into it is remarkable! Your advice and knowledge of the park was truly helpful. It was sure nice to know we were in good hands. We will defiantly be recommending your cabin to anyone who is coming out this way. It is clearly an experience all on it's own, and obviously when we venture out this way again we will be sure to stay here! Thank-you again sarah! We had a blast. P.S. Thanks again for the Chico swim passes it was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring the park!

Our family rented for 9 days, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very comfortable yet authentically restored place. The owner's description and photos were very accurate and even so, we found the place even more beautiful than the description. The cabin is super-clean, well maintained and tastefully, eclectically furnished, with comfy, fluffy beds. The hot springs at Chico were great, and there are wonderful walks and hikes nearby, as well as beautiful Yellowstone Park. Our stay was wonderful in every way, and a large part of that was due to the graciousness of the cabin owner, who made all feel so comfortable and provided great ideas and information in a friendly, laid back manner. Great...all around.

Sarah, Thank you for everything. My stay was awesome. I got thousands of great photos in the park. May was the perfect time for animal babies. Saw-baby bisons everywhere. I got to photograph two different baby bighorn sheep...one was only a couple hours old! I got a great shot of a Grizzly at Nymph lake on my first day. I even saw a yearling black bear cub with it's mamma near Tower falls. Last night, I shot the most spectacular rainbow just outside of Mammoth. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your cabin. It was nice being away from the crowds. P.S. Thanks for loaning me some bear spray, thankfully I did not need it!

Thank you so much for your hospitality and friendship. I love your set up. I am looking forward to more adventures (hiking, camping with the girls, hot potting, and eating delicious food). It's people like yourself and of course my sister that make Montana an inviting place to visit and possibly live.

We could not have found a more perfect place to stay, to relax and enjoy Montana. So much peace and beauty here and this special cabin is so much more to experience than the crowded tourist accommodations. The history behind this gem of a home makes it so unique. Your work here is a wonder and this has been a most memorable stay. Thank you for all your special hospitality and friendliness. A vacation to remember for sure. Will see you again.

We spent our 3rd anniversary here and really enjoyed it. We tried to book accommodations at Chico but were fortunate that they were all booked. Homestead was a much better option. What a fantastic place! Weather was perfect and so was our stay.

Dear Sarah, How lucky we were to learn about your lovely old homestead cabin, lovingly and creatively reconstructed. What a great base to wander around Paradise Valley and Yellowstone. Wish we could stay a lot longer.

Your "Homestead" was a magical find on our "2007" journey west. Chuck and I rate our stay A plus. We were met by your warm welcome and a homey cabin to stay in, a perfect fit. Best of luck with your landscaping projects. Hopefully we will be back to see the growth and to enjoy the peace and serenity of your "Homestead". Thank You

Sarah, thank you for all of your wonderful suggestions for places to hike, eat and go "Gallery Hopping"! We especially enjoyed your "Touron" advice and found it to be "oh, so true!" The Homestead Cabin is a work from the heart and was such a cozy place to stay. Thanks for creating such a beautiful sanctuary.

Sarah-Your spot here in Old Chico is great! The cabin has all the right touches. Thanks for making it so comfortable. The area has so many outdoor things. The few day hikes were a lot of fun. I can't get over the view from the hill behind your place. Good luck with everything in your future.

Escaping the big city of Gardiner, MT. to Old Chico, quite the change. we are so glad we stayed in the Old Homestead Cabin-a super place, superb workmanship, and a labor of love. I like the way it fits into the countryside and not a social statement like many places that dot the Montana landscape are today. I saw Stellar's Jays, Black-capped Chickadees, Downy Woodpecker, C. Raven and a Golden Eagle. I like your taste-a touch of class. We will return-what a delightful stay.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We've enjoyed the hot springs, the nostalgia of your little cabin, the back porch, a trip up the gulch, and most of all, the warm beds, cool night air and soothing sound of water nearby. I've rested well, the girls have relaxed and enjoyed this home away from home, and Mitchell has read and read and read in the peace of this place. If you're ever near Paint Lick, Kentucky, look us up, we would love to see you. Again thanks so much.

Our Valentine retreat!Thank you so much Sarah. This cabin gave me back the feeling I had when I first experienced moving out west to Estes Park, 29 years ago. The deep calm assurance that came from looking out log cabin windows beaming with early morning sunlight to see flying clouds and cathedral peaks. We both enjoyed ourselves immensely.
