We spent 4 nights in this property to begin our Colorado vacation. The property is well maintained with great furnishings. Linda was very attentive to our questions about the property and answered the questions we had in a quick fashion. We enjoyed many nights in the hot tub looking at the mountains and watching the stars go by. The property is well represented in the postings. I would certainly recommend this property to any of my friends or family.

A special thanks to Linda and Bob for allowing us to make their home ours for a week. The house is very comfortable, with many extra. Plenty of room, great family eating area, room for kids to get away from parents and perfect deck for snack and craft time. Minutes away from Mary's Lake and Lily's lake, as well as down town Estes. Wildlife visited daily, and evenings were extremely pleasant to sit and read on the front deck rocking bench. We enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings and late evenings. Linda was fantastic to work with. We are so very fortunate to find such a fabulous property and owners!!! Hope to visit again soon!!!

The house is in a good location, very near Rocky Mountain National Park. It accommodated our group of nine (from ages 3 to 55) very comfortably. We found the home very clean with many extra touches and amenities for convenience. The decor had us feeling right at home in a mountain lodge. We look forward to the next time we have the opportunity to come back. We had a wonderful week full of lasting memories.

Our stay was very enjoyable, with everything we needed. The description of the home was very accurate. The home was very clean, comfortable beds and everything I would need in the lovely kitchen. The views were awesome with mountains surrounding. We especially enjoyed the dining room looking out to the aspens, mountains and occasional mule deer and elk in the back yard.We enjoy going to the Rocky Mnt Park and this location was great. It will be nice when our grandchildren come next time as there is a nice family room downstairs as well as the large family room on the main level that we enjoyed.Oh, and the hot tub a big hit for my husband! It was a very relaxing vacation.

Interior is well finished. Two baths for four bedrooms, so be prepared to share. Exterior could use some upkeep, but maybe this is the expectation in Estes Park, Good mountain view. Noisy hottub, but only a factor if you sleep with open windows. We did experience a mouse problem. Estes Park is a great place for mountain hiking.
Owner response:We are happy you enjoyed your trip and the mountains and views! We have recently purchased this awesome home and have the interior complete, so happy you found the interior well finished and furnished. Although the exterior is very, very nice as it is, we do have plans to make some changes to the outside to be in keeping with the beautiful mountain setting and views of this home. Thank you for your positive comments on the well appointed interior. Bathrooms are as advertised, although we do have an additional half bath on the main level that you evidently missed. Hot tubs have motors, and motors make noise, that is a fact. When the weather changes in the mountains mice can certainly try to migrate into warmer places, and we don't like them either. We, the owners, have personally stayed at the home for the past four nights, we have not had any mouse activity, but we have addressed this as we know it can certainly happen in any mountain home in the fall. Thank you for all of your comments. It helps up to make the home even better. Linda, Owner

We rented three homes in Estes Park to accomodate out of state relatives coming out for our son's wedding. The owner of this home was very pleasant and helpful when we were making our reservation, and the home worked out perfectly. It was very clean and has very comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dining room and extra counter space in the dining area was a huge help for serving large numbers of visitors. Although we didn't need them, I noticed that there were items such as a high chair and play yard on the property for little vactioners. I think the owners have thought of everything...iron, ironing board, and the laundry room was great with very new energy efficient washer and dryer. The location was great--a little outside of the busy touristy area, but close enough to run get something we needed. The circle driveway had plenty of parking and this was a huge help as relatives and friends were able to come over and say hi when they arrived in town, and it made it easier for everyone to just drop in and make plans to take a hike or whatever. I would definitely rent here again. I only got to use the hot tub one night because we were so busy with the wedding. I'd like to come back another time when we can just sit on the deck and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The first night we arrived a black bear walked around the house and over to the dumpster. What a treat for our East coast relatives! I would definitely recommend this property and the owners could not have been nicer. You can't go wrong with renting this property! Resa-Parker, Colorado

Kid friendly with nice yard to play in and also relaxing decks. The kids especially enjoyed the front porch and glider watching the alpaca and the kid's area downstairs a nice little touch. We had a fabulous time at the Estes Mountain Home, and truly loved this beautifully appointed, perfectly situated place, with its spectacular views of the peaks. We appreciated the thoughtful personal touches -- wonderful utensils, spices, and herbs in the kitchen (we stayed "home" and cooked every night) and pillows that were actually very nice to sleep on! Loved the private back yard, the hot tub, the fire places, and the alpaca next door. The owners are very accommodating and made everything perfect for us.

Your home is beautiful and was perfect for our whole family to stay together and celebrate our marraige! The decor is rustic and all very lovely, the views are amazing and everything is so cozy and comfortable. The open floor design upstairs between kitchen, living room and dining room is nice for a group dinner/small gathering. It is especially nice to have two full living room areas -- the kids could go downsairs and stay entertained. Having the semi-circular driveway is also handy for multiple guests as the parking is plentiful. All enjoyed the hot tub as well! We looked at a lot of different homes around Estes, this was the best we found -- the location makes it also very convenient and easy to find as well. We so enjoyed our stay, and everyone LOVED the house! Linda was so helpful and responsive as well -- calls were returned promptly and the owners are both gracious and sweet and helpful in every way!
