  .I left so fast and had 60 people to get back to santo domingo that didn not thank the staff enough....please let them know, how we enjoyed all the help and attentions!!!!!We Had a wonderful weekend, your staff ALL is absolutly magnificente!!!   Great house, great trip, we had 11 golfers and each had our own room! We spent the mornings golfing at the great courses, and the afternoons and evenings at the house. Spectacular views and gourmet dinners that were so good we barely left the property when finished with the golf!

  Could not have been better!! Staff was very attentive,catered to every whim Felipe's food was the best we have had in the DR,could not ask for more House was perfect for 12 golfers Clothes cleaned and pressed every day GOOD AS IT GETS-THANKS TO EVERYONE

  I have been coming to Casa de Campo for over 28 years and renting homes with my childhood golf buddies and Casa Alegra is in a class by its self. The house / “compound” is set right on the Caribbean facing west. The sunsets were spectacular and the staff was unbelievable. The chef made us breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only went out to eat two out nine nights. It was pointless to go out, you couldn’t beat the food and relaxed atmosphere with full service for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. With twelve bedrooms [ 3 unbelievable masters ] full laundry service it was hard to go home. Hoping to rent again next year.

  If you're looking to get away from it all, head to the DR and let the amazing hostess and staff at Casa Alegre pamper you. Our group (about 18) was there for a week and besides going around the corner for golf and sea kayaking, we (literally) never left the property. Why would we? We had the ocean, pool with swim-up bar and bartender, tennis court, pitching green, great food, great friends, even our own massage therapist and yoga instructor (who we brought)...all the makings for a fun and relaxing vacation. One recommendation is to get "off campus" to visit the cigar factory nearby. It's amazing!

  I had an amazing time. Having never visited the DR I was pleasantly surprised at the almost perfect setting that this property occupies. Facing west we sat with coconuts (harvested from the premises) watching the sunset each evening across a beautiful sea. The staff was great in providing a low key, but high attention to detail service. The place has its own green for practicing your short game, and is located near two of the top golf courses in the world. Scuba diving nearby, although it was not the best I've done. Some local tours to the cigar factory and a local orphanage were memorable. Weather was near perfect, only a couple short showers. We played hard, but ate and slept well. Loved my casita. Two pools adjacent to the swim up bar were fun to hang around. Unfortunately I had to work some, but the WiFi was sufficient throughout to be able to sufficiently stay on the grid. We also toured a newly built town which resembled an old Italian city, which I highly recommend, but truly I never wanted to leave Casa Allegria.

  The property and surrounding area is breathtaking. Casa de Campos is an upscale resort community with world class golf, hotel, tennis and other amenities. The Villa, which sits directly on the ocean inside the gated area of Campos de Campos, is more like a resort compound – it has two pools, suites that are in standalone buildings, tennis courts, a swim up bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, golf chipping area (approx 2 acres), etc. The staff was helpful and professional providing cuisine that was healthy and was served with a regional flair. The grounds are immaculately kept. This property is ideal for a large family, a company retreat, or a group of friends that just want to spend time relaxing in the sun. The weather in early March was perfection. My only issue was that I flew into the wrong airport – if possible, avoid flying into Santo Domingo. The La Romana International Airport is minutes away from the property and the better airport to use.

  Casa Alegre is spectacular. A gorgeous, sprawling home on two lots - rolling green grass perfect for perfecting your golf swing, a pool up against the ocean, a gorgeous break wall to dive into the ocean from....beautiful decor and tons of space to have fun as a group or to find solitude and a place to read a book, nap in a hammock, watch the sun go down. Staff were delightful and we loved every minute staying here. Bedrooms are enormous and beautifully decorated and each is lovelier than the next. If you have the chance to vacation here, grab it - you will never want to leave!

  What an amazing trip! The home was nothing less than spectacular as was the staff. The location could not have been better. A tennis instructor arrived daily at our request for tennis in the morning overlooking the magnificent ocean. Afternoons were filled with donkey polo, golf, shopping, more tennis among other activities and ended with a soothing massage back at the house given by two local woman. Deena, the owner, was incredibly helpful with EVERYTHING. We ate only one meal away from the house and quickly decided we would all be much happier and have the best meal of all if we returned to the Villa for all of our meals. I give this Villa and Deena my very highest recommendation of all. If you want a "dream vacation"....look no further!
