Beautiful condominiums with a nice view of the gulf. Condo was roomy for 8 people and had all the amenities you would want with the exception of a full service restaurant on-site. The pools and lazy river are the best I have seen in comparison to Mexico and Jamaica resorts! It is about a mile and a half down the coast from the main Galveston seawall so the beach is not packed--very nice! Plenty of yummy restaurants and the Strand has some fun shops. I would highly recommend this property to family/friends and already have!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is in excellent condition, and is ideally situated on the property, overlloking the pool and lazy river. The development itself is a very family friendly environment, and provides a secure setting for children. Lots to do without ever leaving the property, but the beach is just a few steps away and golf is just 2-3 miles away. We enjoyed everything and will be back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun week with our children and grandchildren. The location was perfect, the amenities great and the big and little kids enjoyed every minute. The unit was perfect for our needs and we really enjoyed the balcony. We have stayed all over Galveston Island. Diamond Beach is now the ONLY place we stay. The property is self contained and very safe. This unit has a large balcony where we ate a lot of our meals. Don't forget your clubs. There is an excellent golf course less than 10 minutes away. I can get 18 in early and get back before my family wakes up. The pool,lazy river, and hot tubs are great. Bar None is on the third floor. Jeff makes some awesome drinks. This unit has a nice floor plan and is decorated like a beach house should. The owner is very friendly and easy to work with....We will be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Can't say enough great things about this place! The condo was very neat and clean and felt very "homey". The owners are great hosts and thought of everything. The amenities of the resort are great for kids of all ages. We had my 2 1/2 year old son and our 8 year old neice and both had plenty to keep them happy! We are definitely going back!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful, upscale getaway on the Texas Gulf Coast! Diamond Beach has a great lineup of luxury amenities, and this condo is a top-of-the-line choice. Well-outfitted in every respect, this roomy unit features a stunning tropical decor, and a panoramic view of the Gulf. Our group of women made good use of the lazy river (attentive service at the swim-up bar) and third floor dance lounge, but the private beach, pools, spa, gym and theater offer extra options for fun. We did not want to leave this gem!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My 3 friends and I stayed in this condo last week-end. It was absolutely awesome. It is true that it is well decorated and the owners were very accommodating. We can hardly wait to go back. It is a wonderful resort for all ages. My 2 year old grandson loved the waterslide and also the pools. It is neat how the pools are graduated, so there is somewhere for everyone. The balcony has an amazing view as you look out over the pools and to the gulf. It was so peaceful to hear the waves. Also, I cannot say enough about the lazy river and it helped that there was a "float up" bar. Margaritas were great! I highly recommend this resort and this condo in particular.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I stayed there from June 6 to the 11th, and did we have a wonderful time! The place comes fully equipped with everything you might need (from dvd players in every room, a few DVD's to watch on your down time, towels, spices, beach toys, kitchen utensils, bug spray, and I can go on...). Not to mention that the grounds at Diamond beach are impecable. Everyone there was very accomidating and helpful (24 hour consierge and covered parking with a separate elevator). We had such a great time. My four-year-old loved the shallow walk in pool with fountains, the movie theater, and game room; while the adults enjoyed the full-service bar right down the hall, and access to the Seawall Dropoff for a late night walk and stargazing. The view is gorgeous, and the rainshower is a delight after walking back from the sandy side of the beach. Galveston is not known to have the best beaches, but if you get tired of the beach then you can spend most of your time around the giant pool under a cabana, or floating the lazy river. I even made time to use the state-of-the art gym they have there. What a great trip. As a matter of fact, this was so much fun that we are hoping to make this an annual retreat. Thank you Diamond Beach for allowing us big kids to have fun too!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is spectacular! The pictures really do not do it justice. The view from the balcony is beautiful. My kids (ages 3 and 18 mos) loved all the pools, especially the lazy river. My son also really enjoyed the game room. The location of the resort is very close to many area attractions. I would highly recommend staying here. James was very helpful and very easy to work with. An overall gem! Our stay at Diamond Beach was truly a relaxing and enjoyable experience. A great place to vacation after our wedding. Unit 309 was impeccably clean and worry free. It felt almost like a home away from home. I would have never thought that there would be a place in Galveston that would make me feel like I was thousands of miles away from home, vacationing at some tropical resort. We lost track of the time floating along the lazy river. The others there were very respectful of noise and personal space. Would recommend the cocktails offered at the bar. During the day, you don’t even have to leave the pool to get a refill. We will definitely stay here again, and have recommended it to all of our friends.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Excellent accommodation, very well designed a breath taking view. The lazy river was great and the slide by the pool was alot of fun my son loved the game room. The location is close to everything. This place is amazing. My family and I had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend. The condo is so cozy and the decor is perfect and peaceful. The owners went out of their way to accomadate us and were accessible whenever we needed them. The pool looked great-too cold to get in but we can't wait to come and stay during the summer when it gets a little warmer. The movie room was great and my kids really enjoyed the game room. We got to enjoy the indoor pool every night and the staff at the service desk went out of their way to help us with any questions we had. The best place in Galveston by far and what an amazing view too!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you... too the owners of this wonderful property, for making this available to others. The unit is brand new and has great views of the gulf. We loved the indoor pool and used the outdoor hot tub daily. Can not wait to try the lazy river and slide in the Summer. The children loved to reserve the movie room and they even found other children to invite down to enjoy the show with. We spent several hours in each of the game rooms. The location is close to everything and only around the corner to Moody Gardens or water park. The great communication of the owners and friendly staff make this a recommendation to anyone wanting the best in Galveston.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our stay at this condo far exceeded our expectations. This beautiful condo has such a luxurious feel. The furnishings are high quality and the owners were very gracious. The amenities are closer to a Luxury Resort than a standard multi-unit condominium. The view is amazing! We will definitely be back and have recommended our friends.
