Location was fantastic. Literally across the street from beach access. Made it very convenient to jet back over to the house for refreshments, bathroom, etc. Walking distance to the Pier and beachy basrs and restaurants there. House was also very large, easily accomodated our two families of four. Home furnishings were a bit dated and worn...but that's what you expect for a rental property. It was clean, but sometimes it didn't appear that way due to the age. Perfect for families with kids (if you're expecting luxury, not the place for you -- if you want comfortable and accomodating, it's perfect). The place had everything we needed wrt linens, appliances, beach toys/chairs, kitchen utensils, etc. We had a plumbing issue with the house when we arrived and the owner was VERY responsive and quick to send a plumber (even though it was Saturday night). ONLY complaint: the house doesn't have its own wi-fi. Access to the neighbors unsecure line is only available in one room of the house. If you want/need wi-fi, you'll have to get a verizon air card or something like that. Other than that, the location, size, amenities and owner were great. I would recommend it for folks that want a relaxing week at the beach. I'd stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Wonderful quiet place on a beautiful white sand beach with warm water in the summer time. The swimming pool is very private and a great place to be away from the beach. The house is very roomy for a family to enjoy. Close to the pier and other attractions, possible to do a run to Disneyworld for a day if you start early (about two hours by the time you park and get to the gate). We enjoy going to Busch Gardens in Tampa for the amusement and water parks. This property is well maintained, clean and a great value for a famly.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Pictures of the house does not show how beautiful this area is, it is gorgeous and our stay was outstanding. The beach in this area is quiet almost like having a private beach. Property is very clean and well maintained and provides all amenities for a great visit to the Island without having to bring a lot with you. I would recommend staying at this location to all my friends and relatives, very close to Pier, restaurants and is close enough to walk to state park on the Island. Fishing off of the beach and lots of shells for the kids and adults to find.Recommended for: Sightseeing.
