We rented this place for 8 days for a conference the first week of August. 6 women in their 60's. It was absolutely fabulous! I've stayed at several different locations on the mountain and this was by far the best. Not only was it convenient to every thing, but we had so much space to ourselves. This is truly a home, not just a rented condo. We felt very much at ease and very safe. The huge dining area with the open kitchen and accessible balcony made for easy and spontaneous gatherings on a daily basis. And what we issues we had were resolved immediately by the wonderful all around handyman. We will definitel return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this place for a family reunion; we had ages 1 through 75 along for the trip. The place is equipped with everything we could even imagine, beautiful, and comfortable. Rosalin made us feel very welcome and looked after -it's nice to have a helpful, friendly landlady -if only for a week long stay!! One of the best parts for us was that this place is located at the base of great mountain bike trials (the trails on Crested Butte (the ski mountain.)Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family of 6 has been visiting Crested Butte for over 10 years and this is by far our favorite property. This condominium is very comfortable, clean, stylish and best of all, has a great location. It is large enough for us to invite friends and not feel crowded and has all the amenities one could hope for. The owner is always helpful with local suggestions on things to do or places to eat and with introductions to the experienced instructors. We visit both in the winter for great skiing and in the summer for golf, mountain biking and hiking. I can highly recommend this property for a stay in CB.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I have been going out West with a group of men for the past 25 years. This place was just perfect. The location is 100 yds from the main lift, the main hotels and some great restaurants, and also 100yds from the local bus service that takes you into town that is 5 minutes away. Some guys wanted to stay in town and some guys wanted skiin/skiout. Bus is like clockwork and drops you off anywhere in town. No Complaints and town guys were happy to be on the mountain the next day and every day after. There are TV's in every room. Big screen in main room, office with fax and internet service. Artwork on every wall and a full gourmet kitchen with everything you could imagine. Rooms were all clean and everything is updated. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Hot tub broke down first night but was back up the next morning...Great service by Jim the caretaker. First time to Crested Butte and it did not disappoint. The mountain just keeps going on and on. Looks small on paper, but it really just keeps on going. Lots of trees, chutes and bowls were double black. Plenty of blue for the not so challenging in our group. NO LIFT LINES double bonus. The T-bar to the most extreme locations was a little challanging for couple of the guys...which was good as they had no business going where we went. Food on the mountain was just OK. A fancy restaurant located at the top was out of place. We like fancy, but at night after a good hot shower, not at lunch, sweaty and ready to board some more. Midmountain has regular mountain food with a great outdoor deck. WE had a group of 6 this year and were picked up by a car service. Don't remember his name, but he was right on and help us hook up later in the week with some other services. BOOK this place now and don't look back. We will be back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had 10 adults, an 18 month old, and a 6 month old. There was plenty of room for everyone and the accomadations were amazing. I booked it for the whole family and I was getting props the entire week for finding this place. The only negative is the kitchen is a little small, but it had everything you needed and more, complete with a commercial Viking stove and oven. The view to the slopes is great and you are literally a downhill walk of 150-200 yards to the lifts. You can kind of ski in, but not really. Not a big deal for us, but may be for some. I think the closest I ever made it was about 75 yards away on a snowboard. Rosalind and her team were great to work with and they made everything work very smoothly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay on the mountain with good access to everything the mountain has to offer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

we stayed in the unit over spring break. we had 4 teenage boys, my wife's dad and my wife and me. the unit lays out well for meals with a big dining area and table. we did a lot of dinners at the place and always like to have room to have a big meal and hang out. kids were downstairs and were able to have their own space. master is upstairs and separate. the place is very functional and also has a separate computer area from which to do a little work. the unit is in good condition and very comfortable. however, if you want over the top finish out and luxury this is not the unit for you. we were happy with the overall functionality and comfort. we liked the proximity to the lifts and easy access to shuttle to go in town for a couple of dinners, etc. great place for a family with kids and their friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Mt. Crested Butte:
We chose Crested Butte because we love the town, the beauty of the West Elks and East River Valley and the unspoiled nature of the area. The skiing is fantastic and uncrowded. The Crested Butte experience makes it well worth the travel time whether coming to ski, to enjoy the wildflowers or the incredible turning of the Aspens during the fall. Give it a try and you will see why we bought a second home here.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The Crested Mountain North complex is in an ideal location with easy acess to ski in close to the front door and to walk out easly to the lifts. Walk out the door for beautiful hikes on the Mountain or to Mountain Bike trails, disk golf and the Crested Butte Mountain Adventure Center In addition, it is less than two minutes to the bus to Crested Butte and to the base area stores and restaurents. It makes it easy for everyone to be independent. The views are fantastic and the condo is well lit with natural light. the location is fabulous for year around visitors.
