If you are looking for a getaway for peace and quiet this is the place for you. We have attracted quite a few artists and a few well known actors also. The close proximity to New York City is valued by most New Yorkers.(from 45 min to George Washington Bridge or 1 hr tunnel) We rent this for a six month period starting in April and ending in September 30th. We are on 50 acres and have 2 large brooks and a waterfall. We have seen gray herons and large birds and deer. Once or twice a few swans have landed for a short stay. We try to keep it on the quiet side. One small dog or cat is allowed. the property is 50 acres with a great deal of separation between homes. Most people come back year after year and enjoy living here immensely .

You would think you were in Vermont it is so beautiful. The lake is in a small valley with enormous rocks left by the glacier, very unique. The fishing we have been told is exciting.

Walking trails next to property and also some state trails nearby. Swimming just a few feet away from house. Very, very private Dock on property to relax or fish from.
