As wonderful as this condo looked on VRBO, it actually exceeded our expectations. As the other reviewers have mentioned, it is extremely well-maintained, comfortable, spacious, well furnished, and so much more. We highly recommend staying here. It was the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary!

River Front Condo

Our daughter and son in law live in Salida and we visit frequently. We discovered Riverfront Condo's last New Year's Eve and stayed there during our visit. We returned with our grandson in June for another week at the condo. We feel like the condo is home away from home. Maureen and Dave have thought of everthing to make ones stay comfortable and memorable. Everything from the luxury linens to the fully appointed kitchen is appreciated. The views of the river ( and all its activities) make for a leisurely morning of coffee or a relaxing dinner using the gas grill. The condo is within biking and walking distance to everything Salida has to offer. We plan on making this our "home" everytime we visit Salida.

Beautiful Condo!

My husband and I just returned from our trip to Salida and our stay at this beautiful condo on the Arkansas River. To say that the condo was everything I hoped for is an understatement. Everything about the stay was perfection. The furnishings were lovely, the view and sounds from the river were amazing, and the space in the condo generous and well laid out. Nothing, though, compares to the thoughtful touches that Maureen and Dave have placed all throughout the condo. It is obvious that much thought, love and planning has gone into making sure that their guests have a memorable, comfortable and relaxed vacation. We will definitely return to the Riverfront Condos!

We loved every minute of our stay! We were so thankful to get a last minute rental because someone had to cancel. We went with our 5 yr old twins and had an amazing time. Mareen and Dave are such nice people and they run a great business. He is an amazing builder and she is an amazing realtor/host. She gave us a lot of information about the town as well as a wonderful babysitter to use while we were there. The place was amazing as well. The beds were comfortable and my husband & boys said the cookies were great. I'm not sure if I will be able to stay off the river because waking up to that noise was nice. Thanks again!!

This unit is my idea of heaven. Right on the River!! It is beautifully, comfortably and thoughtfully furnished. Within walking distance of town (easy walk) but with everything you need to have a great week, weekend heck the rest of your life! It is like staying in a 5 star hotel wherre your mom has gone ahead of you and made sure there are the little touches that will make you comfortable and at home are there. Of course I highly recommend it and hope to get back very soon.

We've stayed in Salida before but never in a place this nice, the condo is right on the river just south of downtown. It's the perfect location because it's a little quieter than in downtown, because you want to hear the river out your windows not cars. I think the condo is less than a year old everything is top quality and in great shape and the place still smells new! The owner goes out of her way to make you feel welcome with a well stocked frige and homemade cookies waiting for you when you arrive. I would highly reccommend this condo as the place to stay when you visit Salida.

The Best in Salida

We stayed for 10 days. The minute we walked in we felt immediately at home. It was furnished with everything that we have at home. The heated shower floor was a plus. There was lots of storage and closet space, the bed was extremely comfortable. The two bacolnies, front and back, were a real treat, great for morning coffee and the evening cocktail. Next time we ski at Monarch, we will definitely book this place. As an aside, the owners are great, and their dog is the best. Our thanks to them for providing a great escape. P.S. the fridge and cupboard is filled with enough that you don't have to go shopping when you arrive -- a great bonus.

Amazing Stay

This place is amazing! Amazingly beautiful, sparkling clean, luxurious (and I am a major hotel snob) HUGE, and so well appointed it was better than being at home. Dave and Maureen have thought of absolutely everything. We loved the massive steam shower, major kitchen, impossibly large deck, huge bedroom, super comfy bed and, of course, the beautiful flowing river right outside our door. Salida is so charming and warm, just like the owners and this lovely home. A must stay, especially for the price!

These River Front Condos absolutely ROCK! As a 23yr Real Estate professional, I can truly appreciate how well these condo were built. The condo was beautiful, clean & was close to everything.
