  This condo is perfect for a family of 4. It has video game sint he back room for the kids to enjoy when the day is over, so the adults can relax and watch the sunset from the front room window. The pillows are flat and uncomfortable on the bed on the front room, but overall it's a great little place to stay.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

  I worked with Troy in booking a last minite trip to lincoln city, he was super easy and responded quickly. The room was great, felt just like home, the ocean was right in the backyard, we would definately rent here again.

  Our stay at the Sea Gypsy was absolutely wonderful. From the beginning emails, Troy was easy to work with and very accommodating. The unit was perfect for what we needed - the front room housed our tween and her friend, and my husband and I enjoyed the main room with amazing view of the beach. We spent an afternoon playing on the beach, which was just a short walk away, then the girls enjoyed the pool and sauna (b/c when you're in town for a swim meet, of course you want to swim during your down time, or maybe only when you're 11...). I have already recommended this unit to friends and am hoping to stay there again in the near future. The only negative I could say was that the hallway leading up to the unit smelled like cigarette smoke, but once we were in the unit the smell was gone. All units are supposed to be non-smoking, but I would guess the neighbors had at least been smoking while walking to their unit.

  My family just returned from our vacation stay @ the Sea Gypsy and I have to say it was the "Best" stay ever!! The room was very clean and equipped with everything for our stay clear down to blankets for the beach! It was really nice to have the 2-bathrooms for the family and the play station for the kids at night! I would stay hear again for sure! Thanks Troy for making our vacation an awesome one!!!

  The condo we were in was clean and very well stocked with anything we needed. It was perfect for our family of four! The owner/manager went out of his way to accomodate us --to work around our schedule and needs and what he had available at that time. The price was excellent; I'm sure one couldn't find a better deal in Lincoln City! We definitely will go there, again, and would be happy to recommend it to others. Thanks for a great time!

  At the last moment, we decided to slip away to the beach for a few days during spring break. We came across this rental and when we inquired about availability, got a super quick response. Renting the unit was effortless, which was really appreciated! We had our teenagers with us and the separate bedroom/bathroom area was ideal. Not to mention the pool/sauna and beach view right outside our window! The kitchen was really well stocked and we were super comfortable. I would definitely plan on staying here again - a super value with many added benefits!!

  We stayed in this unit in early October 2010. It was my husband and myself, our daughter, and my in-laws. Having two separate sleeping areas is perfect- our daughter could go to sleep in the bedroom and wasn't bothered by us staying up later in the front room. Having 2 bathrooms is also really nice and just about unheard of for a hotel/motel. The unit was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The Sea Gypsy can't be beat for its location right on the beach in Lincoln City, with only a short staircase to the sand, unlike other places that have 50 steep stairs to get to the beach. Kyllo's restaurant is the best in Lincoln City in our opinion, and it's just across the parking lot from the Sea Gypsy. The casino and outlet mall are just a few miles away too. This unit is a great deal for the price, and the owner was very helpful. We'll be back!

  We've stayed at five other places in Lincoln City, but we're done with all the others. This is now our go-to place at the beach. We have stayed here twice before, and have just booked our third stay. This place has everything we want for the right price. Usually condos that boast an ocean view and easy beach access cost a lot more than this. Don't ask why it's not more expensive, just book it! Yes, it really does have a direct ocean view, yes the complex really does sit right down on the beach. The unit is clean and well-stocked. No, it does not have granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Personally, I don't wish to pay $75 extra for those things, do you? My parents recently rented a remodeled Sea Gypsy unit from someone else, and that's how much more they paid. And they actually preferred our room over theirs! We really like the floor plan. It's great for a family. We put the kids to bed in the back bedroom, and then we were free to enjoy our evening in the front studio. And there are two full bathrooms, which is nice. The location right on the beach is very important to us. It's located right by the D River Wayside Park, which is the main beach in Lincoln City. There is another complex with an equally good location, but it costs nearly 3 times as much. And there are similarly priced hotels in the area, but they are on the other side of busy hwy 101. The D river is really a stream, it's only a few inches to a foot deep. Our kids LOVE to play in it, and the wet sand banks are perfect for sand castles. It also keeps them from being drawn down to the ocean waves--the little D river is much safer. And when they're tired and sandy, the condo is right there!

  I had been looking forward to a little getaway for awhile, and the Sea Gypsy at Lincoln City really hit the spot. I went with my girlfriend and it truly was a romantic weekend. With a kitchenette, comfortable bed, and the ocean right outside the window, this room was truly a relaxing experience. I have paid for hotel rooms two and three times the amount of this room, and they all paled in comparison. I used to stay at the Sea Gypsy for $160 a night just a few years ago. Now that the room is less than $100 a night, I will be staying there a lot more in the future. The owner made sure all our needs were met and the window view of the ocean is incredible.

Additional information about rental rates

Rates increase modestly for holidays and Spring Break (March 22-April 7). The nightly rate is subject to change at any time. Your rates are locked in at the time you make your reservation.

I require a $200 down payment — what I call the "reservation deposit" — to hold the condo. I ask for the remaining balance two weeks before your arrival. I welcome full payments in advance.

Fees:

• Cleaning Fee (one time only): $45 + tax
• Tax Rate 10.5%
