Looking out your Master bedroom window you can watch the dolphins at play. The day begins with the Shrimp fleet preparing for another day on the crystal blue waters. Sorry Forrest Gump does not work there anymore! Once you settle in you will quickly realize why so many people love this area!

What you will love about this house is its charm and character. A traditional Charleston architecture it is perfectly matched to the history and lifestyle of the area. Its three bedrooms are perfect for a family visit in comfort. Our kitchen is complete with everything you will need during your stay and fully equipped for any culinary project. The house is centrally located to many wonderful local restaurants. Within walking distance is Dockside, 'THE' place to go for seafood, great sunsets and friendly staff. Down the street another wonderful example of southern hospitality is Moon Doggies. Also in town is a Thai restaurant and a great NY style Pizza.
You can walk to the beach, climb the observation tower and dolphin watch or simply take in the beauty of the Low Country. The “Sands” is where the locals go to board walk or if you are into fishing the Whiting, flounder and Redfish are waiting from the pier. Within a few minutes of the house is the Port Royal Landing where you can rent a boat or find a fishing guide. If you are visiting for the ‘graduation’, take it from a former Marine and Marine family, you will be minutes from Parris Island. Why the Owner Chose Beaufort
The selection of this house was five years in the making. We looked everywhere from North Carolina to Florida, and once we found Beaufort and Port Royal we knew it would be home. The low country is steeped in history and the culture that still remains from its ancestors can we felt in every community. Beaufort and Port Royal area can capture the imagination of children of all ages. It did ours.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This property is unique in that if offers so much while not requiring alot in return. It is surrounded by the Beaufort River, Port Royal Sound and Battery Creek and it is a boaters paradise, and fisherman from all over come here to the bounties it has to offer. We have the Parris Island Museum, the history of Beaufort, Charleston and Savannah to share. You can walk, taste and feel the influences of the cultures and people that founded this little part of the country.
Probably one of the best seafood restaurants in SC. Get there early!

As a former Marine, I found it almost amusing that of all the locations in the US, I found a home that is right across from PI. In fact, you can see the Island from different points within the house and at times hear the Marines on the drill field. We are a military family and proud of our service to our country. We also feel the same for everyone that has served and every parent that has sent a son or daughter off to serve as well. Our passion is the sea and all that goes with it. That was the driving force behind selecting this location and decision to buy the house.

Great accomodations and beautiful house. Children had a great time at the Hunting Island beach during the day and front row seats for the both the Parris Island and Port Royal fire works at night. Only one word can capture it, Spectacular!
