3BR: This unit has TWO gorgeous master bedrooms with king beds - each with its own private bath and balcony overlooking the Gulf. A third bedroom has two double beds and a huge window with a stunning view of the lake. An additional sleeper sofa is located in the living room.
Large tiled balconies facing BOTH the front and rear with ample seating provide a place for sunbathing, reading, dining or just enjoying the view. There is an electric grill on the lakeside balcony for those evening barbeques and a trash chute so you don’t have to leave the condo!
This spectacular condo is professionally decorated and has all the comforts of home, including fully equipped kitchen, laundry, four flat screen televisions with DVD players, and high speed wifi internet. Ipod docking cables allow you to immerse the entire unit with your musical taste. We also have movies for the whole family and games for your children. The Empress is a private gated property with only 44 units, semi-private elevators, private reserved parking, its own pool, hot tub and exercise room. Stroll along the beach boardwalk. Enjoy nearby tennis, golf , cycling- and check out The Whale's Tail, where you can play a pick-up game of volleyball or enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner within feet of the Gulf. The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is less than a five minute drive to the east; Destin Commons is four miles to the west. Baytowne Wharf (in Sandestin) is only 10 minutes away. Baytowne Wharf, designed to look like a quaint village with winding water, offers restaurants, shops, free outdoor concerts, lots of activities for children and a nightlife for adults.

This condo is an extremely large and beautifully decorated property with great views of the Gulf and views of a golf course and lake on the other side. An exceptional feature was the fact that all three bedrooms had great views - no one was stuck in a "tunnel" condo where the only view is from the living room and/or master bedroom. I loved the soothing neutral tones in the condo. It is conveniently located to restaurants, beach, and coffee shop. A favorite restaurant was The Back Porch. I would recommend this condo to anyone vacationing in the area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

For the second time, my family and I have rented this unit for our annual vacation and I have to say, once again, the unit took my breath away! I had almost forgotten how exquisite the unit actually was. Not only is the unit spacious, beautiful, and cozy but the panoramic views of the ocean, bay and lake are breathtaking. The north view of the unit has a large balcony overlooking the Seascape Resort Lake and golf course with views of the bay in the distance. The south view is that of the ocean with a balcony that stretches the entire length of the condo. The master suite, second master suite, and living room all have sliding glass doors with access to semi-private areas of the balcony. The balcony does not section off by room however, three sets of couples could all enjoy the balcony on a fairly private level. Both master bedrooms are large and one can enjoy gulf front views upon wakening in the morning! This particular unit at the Empress is well worth the weekly rate, you will NOT find a better unit for the price. The condo is located in the heart of Miramar Beach with close access to excellent fine dining on and off the beach, a large higher end outlet mall, pharmacies, local boutiques and souvenir shops! You will not have to venture far to enjoy the recreational activities in Destin!! We enjoyed wave runners, a sunset dolphin cruise, and I was even able to parasail over the Empress, which was quite impressive!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed in this condo 3 times now and will never look for another one anywhere else in Destin. The Empress itself is a great location with easy parking and elevator service as well as quick access to Winn Dixie, Dollar General and Walgreens or CVS. This unit is unbelievable-it makes me feel like I am in a New York City penthouse. Getting to the beach is as easy as you will find in this area and unlike many other buildings close by is not as crowded. Someone earlier said it best...Empress is a well kept secret.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I have stayed in 7 different units in at the Empress! In 2009 we rented this unit and had a destination wedding & were married on the beach! The pictures are beautiful but do not do this unit justice! My jaw dropped when I walked through the front door! The unit is classy and elegant just as we had hoped. My family and I rented a total of 6 different units for the wedding alone and this unit was by far the most BEAUTIFUL the unit got nothing but positive feedback :) We are hoping to spend our anniversary in the exact same unit this year!! Anyone pricing various units at the Empress can stop their research right here....it does not get any better than this unit!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

I have stayed here three times so far. The accommodation is spectacular! The views from the balcony make you feel you are on the ocean! The rooms are spacious, you can definitely have two or more families stay together. This is a perfect way to spend a week. Grocery stores are nearby as well as wonderful shopping, restaurants and a lot of fun things to do for both children and adults. We have made this place an annual vacation stop! The beach is right in front of your door, the amenities and pool are perfect. Would recommend this place to family and friends. The cleanliness and decor are reminiscent of an amazing 5 Star hotel!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo was beautifully decorated and fully equipped for all your vacation needs. The front balcony is very spacious overlooking the beach and ocean. We also enjoyed having the back balcony overlooking the lake for a more private setting. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone and will definitely stay there again. We have been coming to Destin as Snowbirds for the past 16 years and without a doubt, this condo is the most beautiful we have stayed in. The great spaciousnes and exquisite decor were striking and the view from every room was awsome. Yhe location was great for shopping and good restaurants and the beach was just a few steps away. Everything was first class and we want to thank the owners for sharing their little bit of heaven with us, They were great to do business with and we are planning another visit for next year. This condo was the best yet, by far! The square footage was wonderful for the entire family. We love stayed on Old Scenic 98 and the views on both balconies cannot be beat. Great attention to details with this place from decor to being well stocked with all things needed. Great communication with the owner and Kathy the real estate agent.
