This romantic two-bedroom home is located in the historic district, a half block from Yountville Park, and within walking distance of charming downtown Yountville with its many restaurants, shops, tasting rooms and art galleries. The home is beautifully furnished with Mediterranean country decor and hardwood floors throughout. The gourmet kitchen features cookware and tools to satisfy even the most experienced home chef - including a stainless steel gas cook top and Advantium speed cook oven. On cold winter evenings, light a fire and cozy up with a book on the leather sofa in the living room.
The fully-furnished home showcases king beds with luxury linens and down comforters/pillows in both bedrooms. On some mornings you can even relax in bed and watch the hot air balloons float by. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch while watching the locals on their morning walk. Or you can take a stroll through to the nearby vineyards or walk downtown to Bouchon Bakery and indulge in one of their scrumptious pastries and a rich espresso.
The evenings are magical. While cooking dinner on the gas grill, sit in the garden under the vine-covered pergola and sip a glass of wine. Or enjoy a game of bocce ball on the private court in the secluded backyard.
About an hour's drive from downtown San Francisco and in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley, Yountville is a prime spot from which to enjoy all of the amenities of the Northern California wine country.
Some of the most famous Napa Valley restaurants call Yountville home, The French Laundry, Bouchon , Bistro Jeanty, Bottega, Mustard’s Grill, BRIX and Ad Hoc are the best known.
When you’re not eating there are wine tours, hot air balloons, bike tours, shopping, art galleries to tour and of course, the favorite spa treatments available in nearby establishments.
Within 25 miles are the most famous towns in wine country, including (nearest to farthest) Napa, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, and Sonoma. And only an hour away to San Francisco for easy day trips to that marvelous and beautiful city.

We stay at this beautifully appointed retreat on an annual basis during the summer. It is quaint, centrally located and absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I have been vacationing in the valley for nearly 20 years and have stayed in a number of places. This home, by far, is the very best we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Our kids (ages 9 & 6) love this home and claim it as their own. They also love the nearby park and their ability to go to it unescorted by parents. The tomato garden, the bocce ball court and the bicycles are all added bonuses not the mention that you are walking distance to the center of Yountville. I can go on and on, but I’ll end by saying that the beautiful appointments and location of this home are equally matched by the very attentive and delightful owners Gail and Larry.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vist to this house and Yountville during the month of September.. Gail and Larry were wonderful assuring that everything was comfortable and the house was well stocked with items to spend the month in the wine country. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen well appointed for cooking and wii-fi throughout the house - we felt completely at home. We spent many hours on lovely back patio reading and enjoying our friends. The heirloom and cherry tomato garden was a real treat! During the cool mornings the fireplace was a warm treat in the living room area. Taking walks in the mornings and evenings to the Bouchon Bakery or to the many fantastic restaurants in town was so enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home and we look forward to a return visit..Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

I've stayed at this rental property on several occasions these past few years. It's an incredibly charming house on a very quaint street. It's within walking distance to the downtown area where there are quite a few really great restaurants and boutique shopping areas. My favorite is the Bouchon Bakery where the croissants just melt in your mouth! If you want to get away to a place that feels like home, I would highly recommend this charming cottage!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Everything about this house is top notch. I am a cook and the kitchen met my every need. I love the gas fireplace and the front porch is a great place to relax. You can take a walk or bike ride in the vineyards just steps away and all of the fabulous restaurants are right around the corner. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this "Enchanting Cottage" in the quaint town of Yountville. The location could not have been any better. First off, we were able to walk only a few blocks to be in the main business district of Yountville. We would walk down each morning to the Bouchon Bakery for coffee and pastries and sit out side and people watch. The owner of this cottage provided us with a wonderful recommendation listing of restaurants as well as stores to try to stock up on gourmet treats to take with us on our wine tasting tours. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable. We felt as if we were staying at our home. It was well decorated and had everything we could want or need during our stay in Yountville. The outside patio was one of our most favorite features. We would return from many of our days of wine tasting with a souvenir bottle of wine that we would enjoy out on the back patio area. It was so relaxing. After our bottle of wine, we would then go up into the business district of Yountville to one of the many outstanding restaurants. Bistro Jeanty was one of our favorites and recommended to us by the owner. The tomato soup is out of this world (I actually found the recipe for this on the internet after returning home, but am waiting for cooler weather to try it!). The town of Yountville is close to some of the best vineyards in the area. We were not sure where to stay when booking our vacation in Napa, but we are so glad we chose to stay in Yountville. It was much more enjoyable to stay in this little town and venture out to the many vineyards and restaurants in the area and the ones in nearby St Helena. We can't thank the owners of this cottage enough for such an enjoyable place for our vacation. We were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy ourselves the entire time and feel like we had all the comforts of home. We look forward to hopefully one day returning to Napa and would certainly love to stay in this cottage again if it is available.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
