Beautiful views inside and out from this gorgeous 3rd floor oceanfront condo in Indian River Plantation at Ocean House on Hutchinson Island , the sailfish capital of the world. Ocean views from your living room, master bedroom and balcony. Golf views from your eat-in kitchen featuring granite countertops and newer appliances, including a brand new front load washer and dryer.
At night listen to the waves, relax in the jetted tub in the master bath or watch TV on either the new 40 inch HD LCD flat screen in the family room,the new 32 in HD LCD TV in the Master bedroom, or the 19 inch HD TV in the guest bedroom.
In addition to the new 32 inch TV,the Master bedroom has a king size bed,jetted whirlpool tub,a separate 4 feet by 4 feet walk-in shower,walk in closet and a 2 sink vanity. There is also a sliding glass door providing views of the ocean(when the curtains are open) as well as access to the covered balcony. Leave the slider open and fall asleep at night to the sounds of the waves in the ocean.
The Master bedroom/master bath are at the back of the condo,off the family room, while the guest bedroom and guest bath are at the front of the condo, down a short hallway off the foyer. As you enter this hallway from the foyer, there is a pocket door that can be closed, creating a private retreat for your guests. The doors to the guest bath and guest bedroom both open to this hallway,so when the pocket door is closed, your guests can travel back and forth between the guest bath and guest bedroom without being visible from the rest of the condo.
The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds with a closet and dresser and a 19 inch flat screen TV. The guest bath has a combination tub/shower and a single sink vanity with mirror.All windows and sliders have white plantation shutters for an elegant look and extra privacy.
In addition to golf, tennis, and water sports nearby, Stuart boasts many fine restaurants and shops just minutes away in it's quaint downtown.

I wrote the "Perfection Plus" review of this condo at the owner's request. I find nothing wrong with that and had intended to write one anyway as I did enjoy my six week stay, for the most part. Reason for this updated review: Before leaving our home in Virginia, we received one condo key from the owner. Upon arrival we could not get the front door open and thought perhaps we had received a wrong key. Being a Sunday with no one around, we assumed a hotel for the night would be the outcome. until a solution could be found on Monday. We did continue to try pulling the door towards us as we turned the key, shaking the knob a few times, and finally it opened. BUT, always, ALWAYS we had difficulty with that door. We got used to it. Hopefully, for you if you do rent this condo, the owner will have put on a new deadbolt. Also know the mattresses in guest room tend to slide a bit. Both tubs - master and guest - are short, extremely so in the master, and both shower heads need replacing, especially in guest bath. Entertainment unit in family/main room, the right upper glass door is jammed and will not close. Owner is aware of this. I know I spoke well of books/magazines in condo but probably a good idea, if you are a real reader, to bring your own. Sliding glass doors in master bedroom - they do not slide. We tried one time and were so fearful of breakage, we never attempted to use them again. Probably some WD40 would do it. Probably some there, but we decided to just leave those sliding doors as they were. Owner does have place well supplied with most anything you would need to take care of the place, including a tool box. Kitchen very nice and stocked with everything you would need to fix any meal. Only thing missing were dry measuring cups. I got and left them there. Made sure there were paper supplies, plastic and foil wrap, salt/pepper, dish liquid - just as was there when we arrived. Had an event with the air-conditioner leaking water, quickly repaired. Further deadbolt issue and I had to tap on with hammer (put kitchen towel under hammer) to be able to secure door. Owner quite upset about "damage". Said we have to pay. Changed mind after telephone call by us, but said "Not rent to us in future", which was degrading/hurtful. Kept his place as my own home. Not enough room to fully explain deadbolt. In spite of the end, still recommend condo - views, kitchen, furnishings - a very nice place. Owner mostly considerate man. Best of luck

Owner response: When tenants sign a lease, we ask them to advise within 3 days of arrival of any issues with the condo, for both our and their protection. The day these renters moved in, they called and told of the glass entertainment center door not closing completely. We have had to adjust the hinges on that door in the past. He didn't want it adjusted,he just wanted us to know , and I told him not to worry.He obviously called us after being inside. There was no mention of an issue with the deadbolt,even though they had made a special call to tell us about the entertainment center. I had told the renters when they rented as I tell all the renters, that there is a full time M-F 7AM-3PM building manager on duty if they have any thing that needs to be fixed, and they can call me other times with any issues. At no time during their 6 week stay did they call me or talk to the building manager about a problem with the dead bolt. They did bring to the manager's attention the air conditioner slow water leak, and he fixed it that day (drainage hose was clogged). I did indeed ask them to write a review of my condo-I ask all guest to do so, and I don't see the review until it's permanently posted on VRBO. As you can see the first review was excellent!!!!!! After they left, my cleaning lady went to clean the condo-for the first time ever she was unable to get into the condo. She called the building manager and he was finally able to open the deadbolt. The building manager emailed me and said there was visible damage to the deadbolt and the door frame, as if someone had propped the door open with the deadbolt out,then wind came and slammed the door back and forth against the frame. He stated it had been fine when he went into the condo just before these renters arrived. He said it would cost $100 to fix. Based on that information, I informed the renters, that for the FIRST TIME in my history of renting, I was going to deduct money from a securtity deposit - $100. They became upset but admitted they had used a "hammer with cloth wrapped around it" to "fix" the deadbolt. I asked them why they didn't let me or the building manager know,and allow us to fix it. They had no response. Despite all of this, I decided NOT to deduct any money, but I told them I had no interest in renting to them any more. 3 weeks later they posted a "revised review". Hopefully this provides context to their "revised review". All other reviews,including this renters initial one have been "5 STARS".
Stayed ay 305N Ocean House for six weeks. From the moment we stepped inside the front door we were at home. Looked at several VRBO's in the Stuart/Jensen Beach area and are sooo pleased that we chose this condo and that it was available. The beds and linens, the tv's and wireless internet, the completely equipped and well laid out kitchen making it a joy to prepare meals, the books and magazines, the beautiful furnishings and nice decorative/artistic touches, and, of course, that amazing, amazing view - all made for the best possible vacation. Another plus is the ease of working with the owner and his quick response to any questions. It is clear, once you are inside and have had time to get acquainted with the place, that this condo is an ongoing labor of love for its owners, and you, as a renter, benefit from that by having found a true "home-away-from-home." As another reviewer has said, we, also, highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants the best, is particular about cleanliness, and loves the ocean! We will look forward to being able to stay here again sometime.

We enjoyed so much our month in this immaculate condo. Very well equipped with high end linens and everything we needed in the kitchen. The view from balcony is wonderful and the ammenities of this resort are great. Cleanliness is very important to us and this condo was the cleanest one we have ever stayed in. Aso loved the fact there were 3 flat screen tv's. The owner is most responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for a great vacation!

My wife and I stayed at this very lovely condo for 5 weeks. It was immaculate, well furnished and well equipped. The unit has great electronics and wireless internet. The condo has a spectacular ocean view (one of the best in Stuart and Jensen Beach!) and you’re just steps from the beach and a very nice pool. The owner was a total pleasure to work with and we are looking forward to staying again next year. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone who wants the best and is very particular about cleanliness and who loves the ocean!

We stayed in this bright and sunny condo for a month, and found it as lovely as the pictures describe.Beautiful ocean views in one of the nicest buildings in the IRP complex. Covered parking was helpful and convienent to the elevators. The owner was available for questions, but we had none once we got our laptop connected.Theres plenty to do in the area, restaurants, shopping and the Lyric theatre for live entertainment. we would difinately recomend this condo to family and friends.
