  A visit to Greene Acres, and you won't want to leave!! We recently shared a "couples retreat" with a group of friends, and this Beautiful, All-Wood home was a fantastic "hide-a-way"! Mark and Shirley greeted us with a warm welcome and encouraged us to make sure to "make ourselves at home". It's nice to be able to bring your own groceries to prepare right there; and have everything you need when you arrive. A nice grill "on deck" (literally) and a great campfire sitting area over to the side. Morning views are spectacular, evening sunsets...It's very Peaceful up there! I loved enjoying coffee in the sun in the morning on the deck/balcony off of the back of the house in wooden adirondack chairs. Mark and Shirley were great to work with, as well. An overall wonderful experience, I'm sure each of us couples would love to return again w/our own families some day!!

  We didn’t know what to expect when we first arrived, however Mark and Shirley were very inviting and made us feel right at home by reminding us several times to relax as if we were in our own home. Mark and Shirley are great to work with and were very kind and friendly to the whole family! The large and beautiful log cabin on Wolverine Lake was stunning, the beautiful morning lake views through the large picture window and/or on the wrap-around porch were breathtaking, and watching the kids play on the private beach and building sandcastles was priceless. We spent most of our time on the pontoon fishing, tubing, cruising the lake watching and listening to the loons, and at nighttime making smores around the camp fire, nothing says Michigan summers more than Green Acres. This is a great area for golfing as well. This was the most amazing family vacation (6 adults and 6 kids); we created memories that will last a life time, and we are looking forward to many more summers at Green Acres on Wolverine lake. Thank you so much Mark and Shirley!

  We enjoyed this cottage so much. It has everything you need for a great vacation. Lake is beautiful, good fishing, the beach is sandy. Our little ones loved the sand and catching small fish from the dock. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own area (kids, adults). Huge wrap around porch is so nice to sit and have dinner or watch the stars.

  Our stay at Greene Acres was tremendous. The house was so comfortable and roomy enough for us 4 adults and 3 children. The private little beach was the perfect thing for our children (all under the age of 9) and we will have memories for life of times canoeing peacefully, and tipping over (not so peacefully) around our end of the lake. The lake is near the damn, and a no wake zone, so the water was like glass most of the time. The deck was fabulous and we just loved our relaxation times out there. Although there are neighbors, it has a very remote feel to it and was just the perfect location for our family. Thank you Mark and Shirley, we had a great time and it was fun getting to meet you!

  Our family,(7) stayed at this home from Aug.8, thru Aug 13. This home was beautiful and very comfortable. Our grandkids enjoyed the lake as the adults. Mark and Shirley were very welcomeing upon arrival. They very graciously told us to make it our home.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

  Two families stayed comfortably (10 people), with some enjoying the quiet beach, clean water for swimming and tubing, a morning kayak watching eagles and loons. Others went fishing for the large pike and bass. Sturgeon River is very close, offering awesome kayaking. At the end of the day the most beautiful log cabin awaits, with all amenities. We never wanted to leave.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  A beautiful home. Mark and Shirley are great! Quiet lake setting with plenty to keep you occupied. Comfortable beds and a very clean home. I have recommended this property to a number of friends.

Saturday. $1200.00.  Check-in @ 3:00 pm  Check-out @ 10:00 am.  $500.00 deposit  
which will be applied to total rental fee.  Remaining balance due 21 days prior to
arrival.  $250.00 security deposit due upon arrival & refunded w/in 2 weeks after
inspection.
