This cabin is outstanding. It really does look like the pictures. We have stayed in many cabins in the smokies and this is by far the most cleanest and cozy cabin of all. It is so close to the heart of Pigeon Forge which was wonderful. The views from the cabin are breathtaking. The cabin is beautifully decorated with awesome workmanship. This cabin has many special touches. The owners really make you feel welcome. We enjoy our stay there very much. It was a little piece of heaven and we hope to come back soon. Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent 3 days at the cabin in April 2013. It was exactly as pictured, very comfortable and cozy, and especially clean and well kept. What a pleasure it was to stay there. The cabin was ideally located close to all the attractions of Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains, while still being in a quiet and private residential section of town. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Sequoia was great! We were very pleased with the cabin. The setting is peaceful and quiet but not too far from the Pigeon Forge parkway. The cabin is well decorated, very clean,and in excellent condition. This was a relaxing getaway for us. This is the ideal cabin for a couple. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin.

Vacationing at Sequoia Cabin

Our vacation fun not only depends on the outside activities but also where we go back to relax after a long day. Sequoia cabin is that place. We were not disappointed when we arrived. The description and picture that was put on the internet was percise. Very clean and well maintained. We felt right at home. The little extras that they do for you make you feel special. From the personalized note they leave you to the yummy treat that is awaiting you. I really liked the fact that it was close to the parkway but private in its setting. In my opinion you can't go wrong by choosing Sequoia Cabin as your vacation home. Thanks Lisa once again for the hard work you and Mike put into building Sequoia Cabin for so many to enjoy.

This cabin was personally built by the owners! It is craftsman work at their BEST!!! Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean! Honestly didn't want to leave. Only a short distance to Parkway & shops, but abundant privacy & beautiful scenery and sunsets. Has all the amenities, you'd ever want. FP, Flat Screen TV, POOL TABLE, HOT TUB, Jacuzzi Tub, full kitchen, gas grill, swing & rocking chairs on porch. Beautifully landscaped & you can't beat the price anywhere for all you get. The Owners are local & they take every opportunity to make your visit a pleasant one!!! WE WILL BE BACK TO the GSM, as we go every year, but now I have found my home away from home. Thank you Lisa & Michael, for everything.

We visited this cabin for our 20th anniversary and it is all it says it is and more! We had a wonderful time in the area and the detail and location of this cabin is perfect. It's absolutely beautiful!! Right near town, but secluded enough to have privacy. We enjoyed the sunsets from the front porch so much. I love sunsets and the sunsets here are stunning!!! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others! Just wish I could stay here w/my kids because I would not ever have to search for a cabin again in the future. will visit again if not before on our 25th anniversary! Thanks so much for loaning us your cabin for the weekend! You did a beautiful job w/location, building and decorating!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at mike and lisa cabins and we really loved this one as will. oak ridge was wonderful too and this one was equally as wonderful. we loved the view and all the cabin had to offer. It was like working with family renting and all the owners accomodations and requests we made were handled with extreme efficency. I love it here and will return again very soon. we just arrived home yesterday from staying at the Sequoia Cabin. we loved the cabin and area. We have stayed at other cabins over the years through rental companies. But this surpassed all the other cabins. Convient and also semi secluded. You have to drive through a camp ground-- but don't let that fool you. The owners go the extra mile for cleanessand to make you feel special. We are going to start saving now for next year- in hopes we can stay longer.

College Roommate Reunion

I spent 4 beautiful days at Sequoia with my roommate from college. It was by far the nicest place I have ever stayed on vacation. The cabin was close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Smokey Mountain Park. It was the most adorable cabin with an incredible view. We had several great sunsets in the hot tub. The house itself was neat as a pin. It has only the one bedroom downstairs but plenty of room upstairs for several children. A pull out couch and tons of floor space. There are all the modern conveniences like cable and Wi Fi but still has the feel of being in a rustic cabin. Lisa was so easy to work with. She communicated with us all along so we knew just what to do. The price was wonderful as most of the hotels were more per night. I would recommend The Dixie Stampede to everyone. Great dinner and incredible show. Make reservations ahead of time though. I can't wait to stay here again on our travels south. It will be on our stop list for years to come.

Very Close to Pigeon Forge, But Very Private! Clean, Comfortable, Well-Equipped Cabin.

Sequoia Cabin is very private, yet surprisingly close to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge! You could actually walk a very short distance to one of the Pigeon Forge Trolley stops and forego driving for the day. The cabin is VERY clean, well-equipped - great, well supplied kitchen with all usual small kitchen appliances. The living room is very comfortable, nice cable package on TV and great WI-FI access for your laptop, tablet, Kindle, etc. Upstairs has a nice pool table in case you can't find anything to do, lol. The front porch has a wonderful porch swing, two rocking chairs and a great hot tub to enjoy the evenings or drink coffee in the early morning hours. Location is perfect for all attractions/shopping in Pigeon Forge, or for day tripping to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg or Cherokee. The owners thought of everything when building this lovely cabin and are wonderful to deal with - both times we have stayed at one of their cabins, a nice little greeting and welcome gift was awaiting our arrival! Always easy to book, fast email response, fantastic directions! Highly recommend this cabin.

This is the 2nd stay for us at this beautiful cabin, close to the parkway and all of the attractions....This is the best cabin that we have ever stayed at,and we have been going to the Mountains for years...Lisa does all the special touches the chilled glasses and sparkling cidar, the greeting on the fridge...just wonderful....I would recommend this to everyone that are going to the Mountains...Love staying here and can't wait to come back!!!!

My recent stay at the Sequoia, was a wonderful experience. The cabin was so beautiful and the game room with the pool table was great. Lisa and Michael was so nice and easy to work with. There were lots of nearby attraction and restaurants and going up into the Smoky Mountains was awesome. I would recommend this cabin to anyone especially as a romantic getaway.

This was our second time at the Sequoia! Lisa was a dream to work with. We were so thankful for a nice, clean place to stay. We were greeted with a special note and a sweet surprise. It was just what my husband and I needed for a great, relaxing weekend. We have been staying in Pigeon Forge cabins for over 15 years. This is now our favorite "couple" cabin. We will definitely look for this cabin first when staying in Pigeon Forge. It was great!!!!!

It was also our first time renting a cabin. This was the best experience! Lisa, thank you again!! She answered all of our questions and all the little personal touches we really appreciated. The pictures are true to everything except they do not do this cabin justice! We were close to everything but when we went back to the cabin, we felt so secluded, it was great! We were hoping to see some wildlife, but that did not happen. Hopefully on our next trip to this cabin we will!! I would recommend this cabin or any other cabin that Lisa and Michael have because you will not be disappointed!!! Everything that described this cabin is right on....The place was clean, the pictures were accurate, but didn't show how nice the place really was..(much nicer in person) The view was so nice both in the morning and evening. We had no problems at all. Lisa provided plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well equiped. We took a short hike to Laurel Falls (beautiful and worth it). We visited Gatlinburg for shopping. Also we ate at Big Daddy's Pizza, The Alamo, and Mama's Farm style Restaurant in Pigeon Forge, all excellent....If you are Active duty or Retired Military ask for the discount....almost everyone in the area offers it...I would recommend this cabin to family and friends....Thanks Lisa and Michael....So glad you survived all the hard work and continue to share your finished product with some very lucky people who are blessed enough to rent one of your cabins.

We chose this cabin after searching for a couple of months. It was by far the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in! The fact that the owners took the time to stop and throw salt on the bottom of the drive, where it tends to ice a little, blew my mind and made me think that this is the kind of people I want to do business with again and again! WE have had many rentals in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. I want to warn you-people are not always honest about their places--they tweek what they say. This is the BEST rental we have ever made. Everything you see, everything they claim is 100% true. The cabin is extremely clean, well stocked, comfortable as well as beautiful. The owners do all of the clean up and lawn work themselves. They take pride in their property and will make sure you are happy with your stay. Very close to EVERYTHING but yet very private. Liked it so much we rented in July and went back in November!! Plan on going back in 2012. I recommend it to everyone I know. Everyone is going, because I am extremely picky!!!!

I have never had a more relaxing and enjoyable vacation as I did during my recent visit to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg November 10th through November 14th. We were welcomed at Sequoia by the wonderful owner herself and a sweet welcoming message on the fridge. The cabin was immaculate, homey, and perfect for two people hoping to recharge their batteries. LOVED the fireplace in the living room . . it was so nice to cuddle up on the comfy couch and watch a little TV before heading out to the great hottub with the amazing mountain view. I loved the location of this cabin as there were no huge and winding roads to try to shimmy up. It's just a couple of turns off of the parkway, but feels like you are a million miles away. I have recommended this great cabin to everyone! The descriptions and pictures here are completely accurate, and I highly doubt that I will ever stay anywhere else in the smokies! The owners are wonderful to work with, quick to respond and genuinely NICE! :-) Thanks for a perfect vacation and birthday. I was so sad to leave (crying actually). Hope to see you soon!!!

Thanks to Michael & Lisa, We had a wonderful time for my birthday at this cabin. It is the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. Great location because it is quiet and secluded but only minutes away from the parkway. Hot tub was spotlessly clean as was the spa tub in the bathroom. We enjoyed playng pool and just relaxing for the 3 days and nights that we were there. Hope to go back again and rent the Sequoia.

We stayed 5 nights in this cabin for our 30th anniversary. It was very clean you can tell Lisa & Michael go the extra mile to keep it up, it still looks new. We were greeted with a note on the refrigerator and had a special gift waiting for us for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time staying at Sequoia it's close to everything yet so peaceful and quite. We paln on going back it's so nice and clean you want find another cabin this clean.

Our Stay In Sequoia

Having stayed in Pine Haven and enjoying it, we were excited to hear about Sequoia. This property was everything we had hoped it would be AND MORE. One goal for our trip this year was simply to relax and get some rest. With all the room in this cabin, the upstairs pool table, games and reading areas, this is exactly what we found. And, of course, the jacuzzi is always enjoyable. For those who do want to enjoy the nearby sites and attractions, they will be pleased at the great variety of activities and restaurants. There are plenty of things available in nearby Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg. Visitors really should plan on seeing the show at the Dixie Stamede. Be sure to go hungry - they serve a huge, delicious meal. They might also enjoy the wildlife at Cade's Cove. Wait until close to the evening, and watch out for the bears! We loved our trip this year and plan to return as often as possible. We have already been recommending this cabin to our friends.

We have never received such a warm welcome in all the cabins and condos we've stayed in. My husband and I both live very busy lives. Not only do we have two children and each have a full-time jobs but we are also full-time Middle School Youth Pastors as well. We have an additional 30 children we call our own. Needless to say we need time to get away and rest, reflect, and reconnect with each other. Sequoia was the perfect place to do just that. We were drawn to the place because of the location, the pictures and the very affordable price. We've always prefered a secluded place just because of wanting to get away from it all. We came for our 17th anniversay. When we arrived Lisa and Michael had written a sweet message for us. It was the perfect start to a perfect long weekend retreat. The place was immaculate with everything we needed. There are no negatives about this wonderful cabin. We were suprised to find that there was no internet (we didn't think to look at that before booking) but that was actually a blessing rather than a negative. We are preformace driven people so that was just a temptation thankfully removed. ~ Today we even received a wonderful postcard thanking us for our visit. It's a picture of Sequoia in the spring and a lovely rememberace to a lovely 17th anniversay weekend. ~ If you are looking for a great get away without the worry of wether you will be satisfied or not, Sequoia is the place. As far as I'm concerned this is where we will retun year after year. ~ Thanks Lisa and Michael for making it a home away from home.

This cabin is absolutely AMAZING!!! I can honestly say this is the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. You can't even tell anyone had been there before you. The cabin is simply beautiful and the owners are super nice. Will absolutely stay here again!!! Recommend to everyone!!!!

The photos didn't do justice of how beautiful the cabin and view actually was!!!! From the very first moment we entered the cabin, we were welcomed by a sign on the refrigerator. That was an example of just how much like home you felt while staying there. The cabin was clean and well maintained. WE CERTAINLY WOULD MAKE THIS AN ANNUAL MOUNTAIN GETAWAY!!! THE HOT TUB ON THE FRONT POUCH WAS ALSO A PLUS FOR THE EVENING AND MORNING!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!!! Harry and Cindy

Our stay at the cabin was great! Everything that was advertised about the property is true. We were married over the weekend in Pigeon Forge and spent our honeymoon in here. We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back for a return visit. I hope we don't have to wait for our anniversary.

Anyone who decides to stay in a cabin in The Smoky Mountains should stay here!! This little cabin was clean, peaceful and beautiful. I rented it for my daughter and new soninlaw on their honeymoon and they loved it. The most impressive thing was the communication from the owners. Lisa was so kind, I felt like I had known her all my life. She took care of every little detail for me. The photos were very accurate, as was the listing description. I will definitely be staying here myself, well as soon as I finish paying for my daughter's wedding!!!!

Words can not describe the wonderful little cabin. It is much more than the owner has described. It looks as if it were built and no one has ever stayed there. It is the cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in. I could have sit on the porch and gazed out on Gods beautiful creation all day. The location, the view, everything was just great. There is no doubt, we will stay again and again. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

My husband and I spent Labor Day Weekend at Sequoia cabin. We had a really enjoyable time. The cabin is really easy to find and really close to any activity you want to do. We also liked the fact that you are close to everything but it seem totally secluded. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. The front porch and swing were great and so is the view. Lisa was really easy to work with for the booking and I would highly recommend it to anyone who want a great getaway. We are planning to go back again as soon as we can!

It was refreshing to find this cabin exactly and even beyond what we expected in relation to the advertising and promotion on the website! Even more refreshing was finding honesty, quality and integrity in the promotion by the owners. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an experience without having to be concerned whether you are getting the real McCoy or not, this one is for real as are the owners.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
