About the owner: We live in Tumwater, Washington but spend as much time as we can in Bend in the winter. We started coming to Bend in 2000 when we moved from Maryland to Washington. Bend residents tell us that Bend is the place to be in the summer but that's when we want to be in the Washington Cascades and Olympic mountains.
Why the Owner Chose Bend: Winter in Bend is usually sunny with lots of snow for skiing and snow shoeing. We especially enjoy cross-country skiing but when the snow's not good, we find a trail and go hiking. Bend really is a year-round recreation wonderland.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: We really feel at home in our condo and hope you will also. We enjoy the view from our porch and the short walk down the hill to the Deschutes River trail for the sights and sounds of the river while we hike the trail. After skiing or hiking, it really feels good to go for a swim and then relax in the hot tub. There is an exercise room that we use but only when the weather is not conducive to getting outdoors.
