This beach house was exactly as advertised. It was immaculate and very comfortable. We cooked a few nights and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. The two family rooms gave everyone their space to relax. The location was convenient to the shops and the beach. Marie was extremely helpful and I would not hesitate to stay here on another visit to Avalon.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Your vacation starts the moment you open the door of this spacious, well stocked townhouse. It is truly a home away from home. The location is ideal right in the heart of Avalon. Being 2 short blocks to both the beach & town was perfect for our family, we barely used our car during our stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at the house for 2 weeks and it was perfect. Park your car and relax. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything and anything you need is in the house. It was so much more than and house, it was home for the stay. Walk to town, walk to the beach what more can you ask for. At 1 point we had 5 adults and 6 kids and never felt crowed. It was perfect. Thanks for opening your home to us..Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This rental far exceeded our expectations as the perfect rental for a 'girls getaway' vacation. In fact, it didn't feel like a rental, and we didn't feel like tenants! This beautiful, spacious and warm home felt like a home away from home from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. Everything we could have asked for was provided, and the layout of this home was perfect as a relaxing retreat. The spacious kitchen was well stocked with top notch cooking gear, condiments, and lots of working space to accomodate a group effort at mealtimes. Two decks and a loft where one could sequester oneself to read privately, watch tv or do yoga, also added to the appeal of this rental. The place was clean, fresh, tastfully decorated, comfortable and homey. A brief walk to the beach or bay as well as stores and places to dine added to the appeal. Marie and Chris were most accomodating and friendly in providing all they could to make our vacation a most memorable one. This would be a tough act to follow, and we are most interested in renting this wonderful home again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We've been renting in Avalon for the past 12 years and this year we found our dream home rental. The owners, Chris and Marie, couldn't have been more accommodating. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with tv's, gourmet cookware, modern appliances, and a generously sized outdoor shower. The deck upstairs was delightful to dine on and the covered porch downstairs was comfortably furnished with cushioned wicker furniture. The house is a block and a half from one of the best beaches in Avalon and a short walk from town. Our family of four loved this house so much that we've already booked for next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

If you're looking for a top notch rental, this is the place. This townhome is beautiful, clean and very accomodating. As the previous review states, the furnishings and decor are very pleasing. All the kitchen items, from the glassware to the utensils, were superior. No second-hand rental shore house items here. You come away feeling like you were are a guest in someone's home. The owners, Marie and Chris, were the absolute best to work with. They were very responsive and very helpful with every question. The rental process was seemless as well. We hope to return again in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful vacation at this lovely Avalon home. The furnishings and décor are upscale which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is the best! A short walk to the beach, and just outside of town. There is no need to drive unless you are venturing out of Avalon .The nighttime view of town from the upstairs deck was enjoyed every night, and the downstairs covered deck was enjoyed even during some rain. Chris and Marie were great to deal with, the are very knowledgeable about both their house and Avalon. Communication with them was first rate making the rental process simple and stress free. Use of their 6 beach tags was a really nice bonus. We would love to come back in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I have been going to Avalon ever since we were married almost 20 years ago. We love every aspect of the town and decided to purchase the home in 2005 as a summer retreat for our family and friends. We have spent numerous days with our children and friends on the beaches of Avalon simply enjoying the sun, sand and the waves till the sunset. Life long memories are created each and every season in Avalon that will stay with us forever.
