This ground level vacation home is fully furnished and well maintained. The master bedroom, with completely renovated tiled, walk-in shower master bath and large walk-in closet is furnished with dresser, TV, queen bed and bedside tables. A second bedroom comfortably sleeps two with a pair of twin beds and full bath.
The large, sunny living-dining area is furnished with expandable dining table, flat screen HD TV, couch, overstuffed chair and rocker. Chairs and a writing table in the sun room offer a quiet reading nook, working space for your "office on the road" or just web surfing. Stay connected with our secure Wi-Fi Hi-Speed Internet.
Just a few steps from the door and you can unwind on the tennis courts or at the crystal clear pool.
Enjoy long beach walks, miles of bike trails, bird-watching, visiting museums and historic sites, antiquing, art galleries, Sunday brunch at the King & Prince and watching sunset from the pier. The island also offers several golf courses, charter fishing, kayak rental, casual dining, National Park sites and much more.

Wonderful vacation rental

This was our first experience with VRBO and it could not have been more smooth. The owner was friendly and efficient during the rental arrangements, the entire process was flawless, and the condo was exactly as described. The condo was very clean and comfortably equipped. The washer and dryer were a nice bonus. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the location was a very short walk from the village. We are definitely planning a return visit next year. You will not be disappointed with this rental.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

This condo was in a nice subdivision (Harbour Oaks) and a good location for whatever your vacation entails. The property is well-maintained and clean, and had all the basic needs for a family. The coziness of the condo made everyone feel comfortable. There is a pretty good walk to the pool, but it was no big deal for us. The pool area is very nice and seems well-maintained. I was concerned at first that it might be crowded, because of the large size of the subdivision, but it always seemed to be fine (usually 3-7 others using it). The owners were very courteous and all the procedures for payment and check-in/out were easy. We were lucky in that the upper floor was vacant during our stay. This could perhaps be an issue if the upper floor tenants were loud, although that would definitely not deter me from staying again. During our restful stay, we went to the East Beach (about 5 minutes by car) each day, visited the Harbour Oaks pool regularly, and walked around in the village area a couple of times (the area with the pier/lighthouse/restaurants/shopping--just 3-4 blocks from the condo). We would also recommend visiting Jekyll Island for Driftwood Beach (never seen anything like that before), and taking a look at the historic homes. One of the aspects of the island that struck us was the beautiful canopy of old trees along many of the streets--very picturesque! We had a great family trip to St. Simons, and this very nice condo made for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Our rental experience for this unit was wonderful from the beginning! Owners very accomadating, personable and efficient in getting everything ready for our arrival. The Unit is lovely, very comfortable and close (within walking distance) to the Village shops, restaurants and pier. The storage area was great for us to put our bikes in safe keeping and the covered parking is a plus also. We would definitely stay here again!
